They suck so bad.
My order (Dreame duster) arrived broken.
I live in France, the customer service speaks only French, they are a joke, days are gone by and still no clear answer.
Go to Boulanger or other stores, they are much better.

Horrendous customer service, horrendous plans, horrendous company. Avoid.

Your driver blocked a one way street for 20 minutes. I asked politely for him to move 1m either forward or sideways so traffic could pass. He refused. He was rude. Told me if I didn't like it to call police. They then slowed down their delivery casting glances at me. I appreciate deliveries happen but he was so rude and He could have moved to help. Your customer services weren't interested. They did not care He was rude. Darty is expensive at the best of times this makes me realise I would never use them again if they feel it is perfectly ok to be rude to people.

Still waiting to hear, product arrived damaged - the package was left in front of the house without any notice or warning, I wasn't able to send the packet back - so I opened it, to see what state it was in. It's damaged, so I haven't been able to use it.
Sent whatsapp messages with pictures, tried to ring a few times, no response.
I did send a negative opinion after what I have been through, unfortunately unless it's a positive review they won't post it...

Following a purchase of electrical appliances (new and second hand) for a full apartment, everything was delivered and installed promptly - delivery and installation service did a nice job, as it should be - kudos

Darty marketplace : if things go wrong you are left on your own .
I placed an order and paid for it . DHL was supposed to deliver the goods but did not show up and pretended on 17/07 I was not at home . 20/07 no news . 21/07 I find an e-mail claiming that I had refused the delivery and the goods were sent back

Darty Marketplace is not fit for purpose, don’t use it…
Portable AC unit was to arrive between the 15-17th July, 5 days later on the 23rd of July not here, no way to speak to an actual person in Darty unless you go into a shop and then they say it’s separate to them.

BRILLIANT SERVICE- FITTER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CONNECTION TO OUR NEW DISH WASHER. HE RETURNED AFTER WORK WITH A NEW CONNECTOR AND RECTIFIED THE PROBLEM -HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT ANY PAYMENT FOR EITHER THE PART OR HIS TIME. RESULT IN FUTURE WE WILL HEAD DIRECT TO DARTY

I ordered Marantz CD 6007 (refurbished) on 01.07. from Darty Occasion worth EUR 280. It was expedited timely via Chronopost. Then the problems started. Delivery date has been changed 8 times and the parcel has not arrived to date. I appreciate it is Chronopost not knowing where the parcel is but Darty online support allows itself 2 days to respond to a request to help and 8 days to process a complaint. This is unexeptable. Not to mention wrong choice of a delivery partner.

Ordered statlink 20 June with "guaranteed" delivery 1 July into store. No delivery. Contacted customer support - it will be in stock next week. Called the next week was told they will call me when it's available but no time frame given. Called again, now no stock until August. Cancelled the order. What a hopeless lot in this era of customer service.

I really wouldn't recommend buying from this company. We spent 5000e and the service has been appalling. TV was delivered broken and they promised to deliver the next day ..nothing we have had to constantly chase and nothing. 4 days late Im still having to chase as we have never been kept informed

In the heatwave we are experiencing at the moment I ordered a mobile ac unit. UPS passed the house on the due delivery date but did not deliver as they said the address was incomplete. I have since had several emails promising different delivery dates. After contacting Darty Marketplace I was told it would be delivered tomorrow. Then got message to say it had been delivered today, which it hadn't. Lots of messages to different departments later, they are sending a refund which is not what I wanted, I just wanted my parcel to be delivered. Not a good experience .

I had a very disappointing experience with Darty.pt and the Darty Carnaxide store regarding a promotional offer on a TCL 65P7K TV.

On 29 May, the Darty.pt website showed a promotion where the TV price was automatically reduced in the cart to €307.99 through system-applied discounts (no manual codes). Later, while I was in the store, the same system updated the cart price to €230.99.

When I went to the Darty Carnaxide store, a salesperson confirmed the €307.99 price and even showed me other TVs in the same price range. However, when I attempted to purchase the product, the store manager refused to honor either €307.99 or €230.99, despite both prices being generated by the company’s own system.

Instead, I was told the price would be €419.99. Shortly after this, the online promotion disappeared completely from the website.

Customer support later gave only generic responses about promotions changing and suggested the system may sometimes show incorrect prices, but no clear explanation was ever provided for why the prices were shown, confirmed in-store, and then refused at the point of sale.

From my experience, there was a clear lack of consistency between the website pricing, store staff confirmation, and final decision by management. It resulted in a wasted trip, significant time loss, and a very frustrating customer experience.

I strongly recommend caution when relying on promotional prices on Darty.pt, as in my case the system-generated prices and in-store confirmations were ultimately not honored.

Excellent service and delivery

I bought a cooker from Darty in Pontivy and it's fine 5 years later.
I then bought and Indesit washing machine in October 2023 and is is now leaking with very little use.
The staff in the shop are so helpful but the washing machine is useless. I will not buy from them again.

We bought a landline telephone without English instructions. Today the very helpful young lady printed off the manual for us. We have bought several items in Darty and they've always been very helpful.

My 90 year old parent (British retirees in France) purchased a dishwasher from Darty in Rostrenen and paid €39 for delivery, installation and removal of old dishwasher. However when the installation engineer arrived he refused to fit the machine because he did not have the correct tools and did not want to get his trousers dirty. He also hit the stopcock with a screwdriver, breaking it, and then left my parents with no water and no working dishwasher. When we complained to Darty Rostrenen we were given unsatisfactory customer service and my parents were told they had to pay another €29 to have the same installer pay a return visit to inspect the work which my parents managed to do themselves, despite being elderly and vulnerable.
