I asked Bergzeit twice whether they can ship the last Nordisk Sif XL to Poland or take a manual order. Their German shop doesn't ship here and the Polish shop doesn't list the product. Both emails got only auto-replies - no real answer. Still stuck.

I asked to hold delivery for two weeks but it was sent anyway. Not good.

Shipping to Finland was fast. Downside that there was no other choise than home delivery and no-one asked when I would be home to receive the goods. Package was forwarded to a pick up location that was not best convenient. I needed to return the shoes as they were too big. Real disappointment was that I had to pay for the return postal fees, 24€ from Finland to Germany! This was not credited, only the purchase price. So be cautious if you need to return the goods. I will not order anything from them anymore unless I'm sure I don't need to make a return.

0 customer service. I ordered on Monday. However, 3 days later, they still haven't ship out. In their website it promised delivery takes 3-5 days. I have contacted them to cancel my order as I'm only staying in Brussels until Saturday, but they replied with the standard generic answer which asked me to cancel it directly from their website. If I could, I will not have to waste my time to write to you.

I've always found Bergzeit's e-commerce offers interesting until I felt like I was being scammed. I ordered two Beal 50mt. half ropes on sale, asking for a confirmation on the price quote by phone, and—satisfied—I paid as expected, with delivery via courier. Almost immediately, I received a message that the shipment would be delayed. Never mind, I thought. I called again 10 days later for shipping information and was told (I have all the emails) that the package had been handed over to the courier, who would deliver it to the destination carrier. I was provided with a tracking number, specifying that it wasn't yet available on the Poste Italiane website. A second reminder and a response (after 15 days) were practically identical. Let's hope, I thought. Three weeks later, I wrote again for a reminder since ropes were requested for an alpine tour near soon and I was told that the shipment was no longer available (??) and that I will be refunded without any possibility to get new order. I find this behavior on the part of Bergzeit and the various operators I've interacted with bordering on mockery and fraud. I will never buy from this e-commerce site again, and I urge others to be wary of Bergzeit. They are unreliable.

Now I got another email by the company and they said they refunded because of the missing package. I still can not see on my account, possibly it take a few days to see it but at least thanks for fixing my issue.

A few days ago, I ordered two pairs of shoes from your website. Unfortunately, there was a serious issue with the delivery.

I was not at home when the package was delivered. The delivery notification stated that the package had been delivered to my neighbour at number 176. However, I double-checked with that neighbour, and he confirmed that no package was delivered to him.

It appears that the delivery person instead left the package unattended in the main entrance of my apartment building. This is a shared entrance in a five-story building and is not a safe or appropriate place to leave a package. The package can now no longer be found anywhere.

If I was not at home, the courier should have delivered the package to a neighbour, contacted me, or taken it to the nearest pickup point. Simply leaving it unattended in a shared building entrance, while also stating that it was delivered to a neighbour, is not acceptable.

This has caused a significant inconvenience for me. Could you please investigate this issue with the delivery company and arrange a replacement or refund for the missing order?

I sent a complain about a Hanwag alta bunion lady shoe and it was never answered. It was not made/sewed properly.
After 650 km the goretex was broken already.
So this was a very bad experience with the shoes and the shop.

Ordered a sleeping bag and camping mattress for my trip. Never received it and customer service didn't seem to know what to do. They also didn't seem to have a record of my conversations with their other customer service colleagues. Numerous emails went unanswered and I had to call several times. More than two weeks after the promised delivery date, I still hadn't received anything and no update from customer service regarding refund. Finally just spoke to a helpful person who was able to process refund, but sadly this has been a very disappointing experience I will not be repeating.

Most of the time I never had issues. Recently bought a down sleeping bag that arrived with loose feathers coming out. Not unusual for down, as Bergzeit agreed, took it out for one night and woke up to the bag covered in quills coming out from the bag. I initiated a return claim that was quickly shut down since “it’s normal for down”. Even after I explained that this was far more than my other down items. Mostly disappointed they didn’t even consider taking it back to investigate, instead I was shut down by mail.

Complicated and overly expensive return process. I tried to return a coat that I did not like, and they made it as difficult as possible. It cost me over £100 just to get the item shipped back to them. When I reached out to customer service regarding this issue, they were unhelpful and completely disappointing. Penalised heavily for a standard return. Beware of the hidden costs if you think there's any chance you might need to send your order back.

I placed an order with you and received the wrong product, not only did I wait a long time for a response from you, but they also don't want to refund me for the return shipping. Although the company's website clearly states that they refund if the buyer receives the wrong product.

Horrible customer service my card was used on this site by a random person and when I emailed them they took 1) Over a week to message me/ respond back. 2) said the card wasnt used and asked if the money came out when I sent them multiple screenshots of the money being withdrawn and their company name with the statement from the bank, as well as the card that was used at the time

Good buying expierence overally. I purchased bike trailer, Bergzeit had best price at the moment and free shiping to Poland. It came originaly packed as it should in 6 working days via DHL. 5/5

Couldn't have worse customer service this company should be avoided at all costs!
I have attempted to return a £490 coat to the company twice as it is too small for me.

The first time i returned the coat it was sent to the address that was provided whithin the parcel for returns. The item was then unable to be delivered as there was no one at the return address to accept it and it was returned back to me.

When I reached out to the company I was told it was the wrong address to send the return to and that I was at fault (even though I followed instructions inside the parcel) and was provided with another address to return the item to.

I then returned the item a second time to the address the company provided on email and is stated on their website.

The parcel has again reached the returns address and has been attempted delivery twice but no one has been at the property to accept the return. 

I am now in a position that I cannot get a refund for a item despite following consumer contract regulations 2013.

Terrible experience with this e-commerce. On their website there is written 3-5 days for the delivery. After 6 business days they didn’t ship it yet. My order was a Christmas gift, to this date I don’t know if it will ever come. The customer support is useless. Go somewhere else.

The delivery times indicated are completely wrong.
I specifically chose this company because it stated that the product would be delivered within 5 days. Instead, I waited 2 weeks, and even spent more than I wanted to because they have a minimum order policy. I will definitely never buy from them again.

Customer service replied very vaguely when I asked for information about the delivery timing, given that it was taking much longer than what was stated on the website at the time of checkout.

This is genuinely the worst service I’ve ever gotten from a webshop. I’d highly recommend not shopping here. I placed an order for over 300 euros and I never got it. Everytime I called them regarding the order I received a shamelessly poor service, and I have still not received my order! Save your time and spend you money somewhere else!
