We relocated from NZ to Australia, the whole experience was unforgetable, we ended up with lost boxes, which were never to be found. Our TV was smashed, art work frames destroyed and boxes completely smashed and to demonstrate how rough it was handled a metal tool box was bent up and tools lost. Complaints were just referred to our insurer, representatives of NZ Van Lines took no responsibility or offered any help. Big tip dont send anything that you value, because they wont value it themselves.

Tiffany and Ray were professional and respectful and made packing day a stress free experience for our family members. I highly recommend them to future clients.

I had to pay the initial first quote of 13.13m3 upfront but on the day of the removal my amount was a lot lower. I was never given a final quote although I emailed many times for it. When I received my consignment and paperwork back in the UK it said my move was only 10m3. I emailed many times for this refund with the evidence supplied and they still didn't even reply but are willing to keep the overpayment of $2500.
Don't use these dishonest scumbags.

We had a great experience with NZ Van Lines from start to finish. From the initial engagement, their responses were quick and detailed, answering all of our questions clearly.
Jaz was superb—she organised the initial inspection seamlessly, provided a prompt quote, and was very informative throughout the process. On moving day, Darren and Steven M arrived on time, were polite in all interactions, and handled our furniture with great care.
We would highly recommend NZ Van Lines to our friends, family, and the wider community.

We moved from Whangarei to Waikanae without a hitch. Nothing broken. Huge thanks to the boys who unpacked Steral, muzz, shane, jon and pete (hope names right !). Would totally recommend.

Terrible, terrible service. Not only did they charge me almost the same amount to ship a half pallet full of already inventoried items to USA as another quote i received that included packing up my whole house and furniture, inventory, shipping, and unpacking at the destination (I only went with van lines because the other company said they couldn't meet my date requirements). But now it has been over 2 months since I arrived in USA and my pallet is still sitting in Auckland.
Literally the reason I went with them was that they gave me a date of arrival around 3 weeks after I got here. The company I turned down in favour of vanlines was only going to be a week later than van lines quoted. Now I've had to buy duplicates of a lot of things that are in my package and van lines are telling me my package is still 5 or more weeks away.
Absolute ripoff, it is obvious they don't care at all, they jacked their prices up about 5x more than the price of shipping anywhere else increased and I made the mistake of going with them purely because they claimed prompt and efficient service.

Work rate was astounding and it was a big job. The Cromwell team of Logan, Ashley,
Darren and Steven were attentive, very efficient and careful and it was a very physical project!

NZ movers were competitive in pricing, that was the best they got.
Secured the custom with an "underestimated" sqft, we receive an email from another member basically stating their estimator underquoted and there may be a "little surplus invoicing", we questioned and asked "how are you sure verses say a incorrectly packed trailer"?
Nz movers relented, we offered to half costings etc, they declined. Result, numerous furniture items damaged.
We sent an email to one Daniel Kull about the damaged items and basically got a reply of "damage is on you if you do not pay the high price insurance", no ownership on NZ movers of the damaged items, we heard one of the "priced" items been dropped by staff.
Driver from Auckland reversed and damaged our fence, played very loud music the whole time at our new address.
NZ movers are a poorly organized business who refuse to accept their own failings, engage at your risk of damaged furniture in the least.

Thank you so much, Dave, Logan and Karama from Van lines Palmerston North. You were friendly, very efficient and made the move as easy as it could be.

NZ Van Lines provided an exceptionally professional and seamless service. I was overseas while the team handled the shipment of my belongings, and what could have been an incredibly stressful time was, in fact, completely worry-free. Their communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and I truly felt they went above and beyond to ensure everything arrived safely. Highly recommended for anyone moving internationally!

Great service from Rhys in the office and then excellent communication and work by Ali, Marc, Jim and Rob at our house. It was raining at times on both days but the guys worked through that and went above and beyond to get everything into the container. Many thanks.

Olive and Taneiln were fantastic. Super friendly and helped move all of the boxes into the house. No damage to any items and really quick and helpful service throughout from the entire team.
