I purchased 2 separate lines of Unlimited Data. I asked several times and several ways if their Unlimited Data was capped after a certain amount and was reassured over and over that but was true Unlimited and had no Cap. After the first month I noticed opening different sites was slowing down. The Buffering is Unbearable and it won't open sites, just continuous Buffering. I called customer service and they said there was a technical difficulty and it would be cleared up with 4 hours. The next day it was somewhat better. But it's back to constant Buffering Again. Now they say that after so many gigabyte I may experience some slowness during peak hours. Peak is 24-7 in my case. They said, before I opened my account that there was No Data Cap. I believed them and paid for each line for a full year. I'm really regretting trusting them. They show all kinds of positive reviews on their site. But for some reason nobody can leave a review on the Mint mobile Site! What does that tell you? If you just want a cheap basic talk, text line you can get them everywhere. Their is Absolutely Nothing Special About Mint Except for the Effort they put into Deceiving You. Don't be a trusting sucker like me.

Cell coverage ok, no option for satellite. Won’t give refund if you cancel- so pay monthly, not once for a year. Customer service outsourced and frustrating. If you buy a phone through them you must pay upfront or use Affirm, which has high interest rates. Other carriers offer better deals.

Was very easy to choose a plan and get signed up. Customer service was extremely helpful when I needed assistance. I haven’t noticed any difference from my old coverage except for the much lower cost!
DON'T SWITCH to Mint if you use a hot spot. THEY BURY IN THEIR TERMS that hotspot data is very LIMITED on what they call their UNLIMITED data plan. Such bullshit!! I had unlimited data with T-mobile and switched to Mint because it was cheaper and advertised as unlimited data. Now I am paying WAY MORE for extra hot spot data (which is data) THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND MY FULL YEAR PAYMENT so I could go back to T-mobile who has truly unlimited plans.

The phone service gets worse the longer you have them i have to call constantly not worth it only way its cheap is if you can afford to pay year a time

Tried to port over at 1:32 today and wasn’t able to do so. I was told that the port was successful from my old company but, mint mobile was saying otherwise. They told me it was but they were having difficulties with the system wanted me to wait all day to get ported. I asked for a refund never got it I also asked for my number to be transferred back to my original carrier now my number is stuck with them and I’ve been without service sonar 1:32 today when I first did the port it’s now 10:21. I’ve had my old phone company to verify the port over pin and account number it was saying it was incorrect so now I think I lost my number trying to transfer to them. I can’t get an account number and pin because, I wasn’t fully switch over to there company so it seems that I’ve lost my number.

For starters you cannot get a phone log if you live in the U.S. They would not give me a refund after I switch from them to Verizon. She says the money is in there if I want to activate another phone; which is horrible. It does not state that in their terms. Their customer support isn’t very good. They are cheap and you get what you pay for. They told me that I needed my original order number which would be in my email but it wasn’t. I’ve saved every email since 2004. They also told me that I could get my customer number by calling to ask for it but the woman refused to give it to me. She just kept telling me no refund.

Customer service is all outsourced, they will follow a script and lie about an order when it’s out of stock and your order number will never work for tracking. Need to cancel an order well guess what you have to reach out to an agent or call them. Calling is tricky if you can understand an accent most times and wanna repeat yourself multiple times or ask a question that wasn’t answered or dodged with another question or statement to reach out to your financial institution etc when the problem is their company. There’s a reason it’s affordable, Ryan Reynolds postcards etc in mail all the time get annoying.

DO NOT GET MINTERNET, WHATEVER YOU DO.
This is a complete fraud. Can't even get the code required to set up the gateway because they never send the code. Can't talk to anyone on the phone with customer service because they leave you waiting on the phone for at least a half hour...who can invest that kind of time waiting on hold?
Also, of the many times I've tried to set this thing up, two separate times they've been 'down for maintenance' just in the last week. Can't do jack when they are 'down for maintenance'.
Utter insanity. This is a racket, not a service. Avoid at all costs.

I love only having to pay $15 dollars a month.
Great connection, no dropped calls. It’s super easy to get started and the best part is you can pay your bill once a year like I do.
The mobile service coverage is great, data speeds, too, and the price is hard to beat. I only wish the home internet service was available in my area, too.
The only one I could get five stars and if I was a new customer. Loyalty means nothing to means nothing too mint mobile. I mean I'm just saying you're 55 or older or disabled or have cancer I think you should always get $15 for unlimited. If you pay by the year. I know that $30 a month unlimited you can get that anywhere. So what kind of good deal is mint mobile only if your first time customer you get to be unlimited for $15 a month for a whole year. I've been with him for going on 9 years now. And I can tell you they don't give you s*** and for the first year or s*** is what they give you. I mean I got a few medical bills because I had cancer. So I can't even find his phone even though I'm loyal to them. Kind of s***** don't you think. So I hope someone really takes this into consideration that works there. Just come November I'm probably not going to be there anymore and I would have been there till then but for I can go somewhere else and get probably a better deal
