4 year old dishwasher stopped working with fault code suggesting a circulation pump issue. I have 2 major complaints with the service I received from Miele. Firstly after Remote Assistance confirmed likely diagnosis and need for engineer and possible part replacement, the engineer who came did not have the part needed. While the engineer was blameless he was severely let down by the operations at Miele. While this was annoying, my second and main complaint is that the first next available visit was in 10 days time meaning it will be more than 2 weeks from initial call and paid-for Remote Assist session to when we will hopefully have a working Dishwasher again. It feels like 1970s level service and I really hope Miele can get us an earlier cancellation visit, which they have promised to try and do.
The problem was not fixed properly. Shortly after 30 days the same fault reoccurred and Miele only honour the ‘fix’ for this period of time. So as in our case we have been away on holiday and have probably only had 5 days use since the ‘fix’ and now because technically it is more than 30 days we have to pay another £179 to have another engineer come out. Very poor service indeed.
There are service is completely useless.
Firstly takes them forever to react second time they went to the wrong flat and fixed somebody else’s problem and the next time they came they didn’t have the necessary spare parts so I’ve been three weeks without the dishwasher and it is getting really annoying.
Very disappointing service. Would not use them again.

Extremely Disappointed – Lack of Support for a Loyal Customer
I am deeply disappointed with the service I’ve received from Melie regarding my faulty hoover. Despite the fact that it is still under warranty, I have not been offered a replacement or the loan of a unit.
As someone living with Multiple Sclerosis, maintaining a clean home is not just a preference it’s a necessity for my health and wellbeing. The inconvenience and stress caused by this delay are unacceptable. I expected a brand of Melie’s reputation to show more urgency, empathy, and responsibility towards customers with genuine needs.
I have invested in your products because I believed in their quality and your customer care. Sadly, this experience has left me questioning both. I urge Melie to reconsider their approach and provide the replacement/service I am entitled to without further delay.
Mr D Cooper.
Purchased a Dishwasher from Miele direct a few years ago and have noticed rust appearing under the control programs on the door this started a few months when it was new.And has got worse over the years.
Reported to Miele and all they want to do is charge me for one of there Engineers to come out.
I have spent enough money
Will not be buying this brand again and would not recommend them.
Thank you for your response below but I have recently spoke to your customer services and was told the only option for them was to send an engineer out and charge me for this or do like a face time with me and charge me.No Thank You it should be free!!
As this is supposed to be a top make.

Had a couple of Hotpoint fridge/freezers they lasted 5/6 years but was hoping for something that lasted a little longer. Bought a Miele for double the price, thinking it would last a little longer. At 5 years it stopped working, no error code, not clear what the issue is. Called Miele they offered to have a video call, call out repair for £199 with no parts, or an inclusive £319 repair all inclusive. They said if they can't repair it they'll give me the cost of repair towards a new Miele fridge/freezer. So if they can't repair it, I'm stuck in their ecosystem for another overpriced fridge that may last 5 years. For the cost of the repair I'm considering getting another cheap Hotpoint for like £100 more, at least I know it will last longer than any repair, which will only be guaranteed for a year.

After many happy years using my Miele washing machine I had a small fault. A small amount of water was coming out of the machine when on final drain/ spin. So wanting an experienced Miele engineer I duly booked in a visit. That was 1 week ago. The engineer came with a colleague. I think he was training. He cleaned out a few pipes and declared the machine fixed. He left it on a 90 degree wash and said after that I was good to go and could use the machine.
So after my first load had finished I went in to get the washing out and noticed my feet were wet as there was water everywhere. I spent hours cleaning it up. The following morning I could smell stagnant water and slid kitchen roll under the machine it came out soaked. I spent 2 days with a dehumidifier drying out my kitchen.
I made a complaint and now a week later I’m still waiting for a manager to call me back. The customer service is diabolical. They replied giving me a complaint reference number.
I’ve now been over 2 weeks without a washing machine. I’ve ordered a new one needless to say it’s not a Miele. Life’s too short for this terrible level of customer service.
I have 4 Miele products in my home I won’t be buying more.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My dishwasher broke down the machine was only 3years old!!!! I contact Miele engineer he came and diagnose a serious fault on the dishwasher and advise to buy a new on. he give me a quote was including the fitting FREE!!
when I call Miele to confirm my order the machine was out of stock...I have to order a different one, of course was more expensive!!! I paid on the phone and don't recognise they charging me for the fitting. I contact Miele many times to have the money back but they refused.. the excuse was integrate dishwasher and they have to include the fitting £150. I'm always been a Miele customer but not anymore!!!

As part of a kitchen refurbishment 18 months ago, I bought two Miele ovens at a total cost of £3000. I’m heading towards 70 and decided to treat myself to a good, reliable brand on the expectation that I’d not need to buy ovens again. What a bad decision that was. From day one, the main oven delivered very poor results. Everything was undercooked. I convinced myself that I’d lost my touch, after 50 years of feeding a family. I recently purchased an oven thermometer and discovered that it takes 40 minutes to actually reach the programmed temperature, and the display is consequently incorrect. When I eventually contacted Miele (before the two year warranty expired) the engineer decided that all it needed was an update to the electronics. Hah! Having just used it for the first time since his visit it’s absolutely unchanged. 40 minutes to reach 190 degrees. I actually feel embarrassed that I was foolish enough to part with such a lot of hard earned money for such a rubbish oven. Don’t make the same mistake. Expensive isn’t better, it’s just a con.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE BEFORE PURCHASING A MIELE PRODUCT!!!!!
I have been a loyal Miele customer for many years and have invested significantly in the brand, with several Miele appliances in my household. Unfortunately, my experience with Miele’s customer service has been extremely disappointing.
My dishwasher has now broken down/problem occurred for the third time. I have already paid for two separate engineer visits, despite the issues with the appliance continuing.
Following the most recent engineer visit, where no fault was identified, I subsequently experienced further problems, including water remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher and a foul odour.
I contacted Miele and explained that I am not an engineer and cannot reasonably be expected to know whether this is the same underlying issue or a new fault. Given that this is the third occurrence and I had already paid twice for engineers, I asked Miele for a complimentary diagnostic visit as a goodwill gesture.
I did not think this was an unreasonable request.
Unfortunately, Miele rejected this. I then sent a further email explaining the new drainage and odour problems and specifically requested that my complaint be escalated to a senior manager. I have still not received a proper response to that email or confirmation that my escalation request has been actioned.
My disappointment is not simply that Miele has declined to provide a free repair. I understand that appliances can develop faults and that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 may depend on the individual circumstances of the appliance and the fault.
What I find unacceptable is the overall handling of my complaint. I have already paid for two engineer visits, the appliance has now experienced a third problem, I have reported further symptoms, and I am still having to chase Miele for a response.
For a company with Miele’s reputation, and as a customer who has invested heavily in the brand, I expected much better.
I am simply asking Miele to properly review the history of the appliance, consider my position under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, respond to my outstanding concerns and provide a reasonable resolution — including reconsidering a complimentary diagnostic visit as a gesture of goodwill.
At this stage, it is the lack of accountability, communication and complaint handling that has disappointed me most.
I hope Miele will take this review seriously and have someone in senior management properly review my case!!!!!
The service was excellent from the call centre to the engineer who repaired our washing machine.

A very nice gentleman, unfortunately I forgot his name introduced me to my new dishwasher, because my old Miele dishwasher worked in a different way.

We had our machine repaired we had to wait a month it was then repaired only to fail again two weeks later and we are now awaiting a second repair which has been further delayed by a lack of parts and equipment to lift the drum. Two months on we hope to have a fully functioning machine, it should have been written off but because of an agreement with Domestic and General, Meile are often forced to repair the machines ours currently has cost Miele £1600 pounds to repair before the second repair needless to say we probably won't go the Miele route a second time.
