Quick to respond. Excellent customer service

I been selling on Reverb for years now. I am very happy here with their staff, customers service, buyers and my selling experience. There is equality with both buyers and sellers as a true marketplace standard. There are no one sided favorable treatment here like in other places. The owner of Reverb and so as his staffs treat everyone with professionalism, everyone happy and you will get positive results. This is definitely my home now. The guitar is great! and for a 1993 vintage bass I mean GREAT! The only issue which was a small one is i had to replace the 9 volt battery, wasn't getting any sound at first. Very minor. I am just hoping nothing is shorting in the electronic that is making it short, time will tell, but this is when they made quality instruments, so i am not too worried about it. Aloha from Hawaii!

How could anyone sleep on the the Teton sts200ent "Spruce Moose"? If you own one hold on to it?

Reverb insists on a signature required for all purchases over $100. This is only discovered after the purchase and caused many problems for me. It would be nice to be warned ahead of time but the reasons they don't are obvious. There is also no actual customer service/ contact number/email I could find other than an AI bot. I'm super sad because I had a great experience with the actual sellers, but I wont be using reverb again because of this requirement.

Listings for gear are not screened or content verified. Quite a few scammers now selling on Reverb, using blatantly inaccurate descriptions. The site also insists on being given sellers' personal bank account numbers, even when signed up for their in-house "Reverb Wallet" in which sales proceeds are held as store/site credit. No one knows what they are doing with stored bank account numbers.

I've been selling and buying on Reverb for many years now. Most of the time it works really well and you'll find decent deals and people. When it doesn't work, it's a nightmare regardless of whether you're buying or selling. Reverb's support has become increasingly dismissive and will shut you down as fast as possible. Resolutions take a very long time and are messy and very frustrating. Scammers are now more frequent as well (even though they are very obvious). I'm writing this as I have decided not to use this platform again. the intention is good, the execution not so much. It was fun when everything went smoothly. But the few times that it didn't sucked all the fun away from everything.

John was an excellent seller, items came even better than listed, he worked with me to arrange pick up and was kind enough to refund me the shipping cost.

I've been shopping on Reverb for a number of years. I feel it's safe and reliable.

Bought the bass guitar I have been looking for at a price way below what I expected. Easy process and quick and easy turn around. Delivered as told and now I have bought a few odds and ends to make it mine. I love shopping on Reverb and will tell others to do the same.

Our buyer was great with communication and fantastic with patience as we had a little hiccup with FedEx. Extremely happy over all.

Total waste of time. Joined to buy a cheap electric piano for my kids to take lessons on. Found one nearby. Started chatting with the seller and was immediately suspended for literally no reason. Just some security flag. Site is garbage. Use FB Marketplace or CL instead of this crummy site.

ENSHITTIFICATION IS REAL

Every time I spend time creating a listing, my account goes under review and suspension. I contact customer service, they fix it because i live in Sweden. I spend time creating another listing, and the same thing happens.

I have lost total faith in Reverb.com and will never buy or sell anything with them again.

UPDATE: I now have a better understanding of why reverb has become so terrible. It was purchased by Etsy and just became a hollow marketplace. At one point in time it used to be by musicians for musicians but now it is just trash. Avoid all costs.

UPDATE 2: the reply from reverb down below is total bullshit. Their customer service is awful, it took me work just to even close the damn account. There is no chance in hell I will ever use reverb again. GFY.

Sold an item for £85, with £4 bump fee I should have received £81. I was eventually paid £74. So fees are at best untransparent and at worst a scam.

Excellent site, great merchandise, great prices, easy to navigate and very secure.

Purchased a higher end preamplifier described as in VERY GOOD CONDITION which was misrepresented. The actual physical condition was fair to poor. I went through the return process and was denied at every level quite summarily. When selling and purchasing used audio equipment online, integrity is paramount. I fulfilled my part of the contract. Supplying substantial number of images documenting the physical condition as fair to poor. I was matching with currently owned Classe Audio Amp. I can neither do that nor in good faith resell the item without an accurate description as fair to poor.. this will assuredly result in a substantial loss or a non sale. Hard for me to believe that both Seller and Reverb operate in this manner.

It used to be a wonderful site for players to sell and buy. Now the fees are so ridiculously high, you end up losing money.

The payout time has grown exponentially also. It took them 3 weeks to get my payment after selling an item. They use to payout as soon as you entered a tracking number.
