Everything is great except for letting sellers try to ask for 2x+ the value of gear and not being able to publicly call that out. Unless these are guys whose wives told them to sell their gear and it'... See more

Reverb makes inappropriate and inaccurate listing suspensions
Let it be known that Reverb is allowing competitors to pull your items off site for several days at a time, and sometimes permanently via supposed policy violation flags resulting in “permanent suspensions”. In some cases, Reverb will get back to you via email and apologize while confirming that your listing shouldn’t have been flagged and then they will re-list. Other times, they will allow you to revise it yourself if they insist revisions are necessary. Instead, Reverb should actually review your listing themselves, with a human, and make a decision prior to pulling your item off site and off the market for several days, resulting in potential losses for you as a seller.
In this case, Reverb is refusing to publish my listing, even though it does not violate any of their site policies. This listing is for a guitar manual which has no serial number or specific guitar info in it anywhere. Even if it did, Reverb still allows other sellers to list these every single day and in fact, some listings with the same manual, but that also include guitar serial info and factory checklists, are still live on their site and have been live for several years—-and Reverb still isn’t flagging those listings, and just insists on “permanently suspending” my listing.
If they actually cared about not letting users lists manuals, or checklists / inspection sheets, they wouldn’t allow users to list these items at all (even though a guitar manual alone doesn’t and should not ever violate any policy…). So, you see a yellow banner from Reverb instructing you to wait for an email for a resolution and for steps on how to revise your listing to get it back live on the site.
When I go to revise the listing, the same rep from Reverb keeps suggesting that revising it is somehow wrong, or not what I’m supposed to do, even though their AI Chat Bot and also the warning label at the top of my listing tells me that I will be hearing from Reverb regarding steps to resolve the issue and steps to revise it (even though no revision is necessary and a manual doesn’t violate any policy whatsoever). The same rep over and over again keeps falsely stating that I listed a blank COA (I have never owned a blank COA or listed one on Reverb, ever). It is as though there is no actual human at Reverb, and they keep reading off of some type of AI script.
This is inappropriate and predatory behavior on Reverbs part to single out my account and to hold different users to different standards, and to put some sellers above others via dishonest and inaccurate “listing suspensions” with false accusations of “trademark infringement”.
REVERB is a SCAM No Seller Protection!
great service.
My most recent purchase through Reverb was a set of single coil pickups for a partscaster I have been using. The pickups were well discribed on the site, pictures were good, and Reverb makes the sales easy. The pickups have arrived and look great.
Reverb has made buying and selling easy!!
Reverb has made buying and selling guitars so easy! I’ve been able to sell and buy until I’ve got exactly the guitar I want!
Just another bunch of soulless greedy corporate leeches.
Reverb used to be great, now it's just another soulless corporate entity ready to suck as much money as possible from their users. I sent an expensive piece of gear to my buyer, the item was stolen during transit, I provided Reverb with all the photos that I took before shipping the package of the item being packed, labeled closed and shipped. I followed all their instruction and I even purchased their "Safe Shipping" insurance that is supposed to be a 100% refund if something happens to the package. They never came back to me with progresses of the investigation, they never asked me a single question, after days of waiting and asking for assistance they blocked my account, refunded the money to the buyer and debited my account the amount (we are talking about around $7K) expecting me to pay even after they charged me around $200 with their "Safe Shipping" that was supposed to protect me from any problem ....But I'm not stupid person, and I knew something wasn't right, so a few days ago right after the payment got into my banking account, I just blocked their account from taking money out of my bank. They don't even allow you to speak to a person about a problem you may have, you deal with their virtual assistant or with one of their operators, but always via messages, and if they don't want to deal with you they just cut you off and you go back with the virtual assistant. I should be happy that, at the end, I got paid...but that's no way to do business.
Reverb is the best
Love Reverb! I’ve bought and sold a few pieces of gear and Reverb makes it so easy.

Reverb has been OVER-CHARGING me lately with their shipping labels.....
1- They ALWAYS try to force you to buy their INSURANCE (and on higher-priced guitars, they INSIST).
2- Then, in a VERY-SLIMEY & UNETHICAL way, they "BACK-CHARGE" your account EXTRA $$$ for shipments that went out months ago.

I had initial problems with a seller who only sent part of my order, then really made absurd claims online.. contacted the support team at reverb, was connected with Carl - he was very interested in “facts” only, and quickly moved to help me get it resolved. Carl literally created a lifelong reverb user through this experience.

Best place to find your next instrument!
Amazing place for all the music instruments lovers! Great community, a lot of awesome deals and listings that you will not find anywhere else! Support is supportive! This is what we need to have, not hours of talking, but help to resolve problems if they appear. Always very safe especially if ship with their warranty, a few extra $ give you a lot of peace on mind. Best place for musicians to find true gems!

I've always had a great experience buying gear on reverb. It's a great place to buy from. I recommend Reverb for all your gear buying needs
Until last year I've always had good…
Until last year I've always had good experiences. The information was clear, everything worked out like it should and the customer service was above average.
That seems to have changed. I'm still waiting for a payout on a sale and customer support gives me generic answers, redirects me to FAQ pages on the website and seems to have zero empathy or any basic human interest. Still feels like I'm chatting with their AI chatbot, but even their AI seems to be better at communicating and customer service.
For the big chunk they take out of your sale, this should be way way better. Won't be selling on Reverb anymore.

Reverb is sooo good!!!
Amazing place to buy gear. You can find 90% of guitars out there with great prices. This app/web is really well made. Good for finding any kind of guitar, even some niche brands like Hondo. Overall this app/web has really helped me look for gear with insanely good deals!!!
Sold guitar as described and shipped on…
Sold guitar as described and shipped on time. I have sold many on this website without an issue. This time I sold a guitar and shipped on time in as described condition. Buyer has it for 2 days before saying he wanted a refund for a chip on it which was not there when shipped in a hardshell case. Took 2 weeks after delivery to get paid from reverb and then have to refund more money then I received. I was paid 497.81 from reverb sale and they are charging me 700.00 refund. Reverb should not have done a return as it was in excellent condition when sold and shipped. I will never do business with reverb.com again.
I have purchased a few things on Reverb!
I have bought a few things on Reverb, including one very expensive item from overseas. I appreciated the way everything worked. I appreciated being able to be in contact with the seller as well as keeping anonymity for both of us until we completed the sale. The protection for Reverb is very important. Delivery was fantastic. Communication prior to the sale was very easy. I had been on the hunt for a specific item for many years and found the perfect one for me through Reverb. Thank you!
Lack of support from Reverb
I bought a digital modeller through Reverb. It was described by the seller as being in excellent condition, but it actually has a major functional fault.
I contacted Reverb support because the seller has stopped responding, and I have now been waiting nearly two weeks for a reply from the Reverb support team. Nothing so far except the same automated responses from a chatbot. I will never use Reverb again, as far as I'm concerned, they're not trustworthy.

5-Star Best Buying and Selling Experience on Reverb Since 2016!
I been selling on Reverb for years now. I am very happy here with their staff, customers service, buyers and my selling experience. There is equality with both buyers and sellers as a true marketplace standard. There are no one sided favorable treatment here like in other places. The owner of Reverb and so as his staffs treat everyone with professionalism, everyone happy and you will get positive results. This is definitely my home now. Come and shop here Anytime and we will serve you best!
The bass guitar is great!
The guitar is great! and for a 1993 vintage bass I mean GREAT! The only issue which was a small one is i had to replace the 9 volt battery, wasn't getting any sound at first. Very minor. I am just hoping nothing is shorting in the electronic that is making it short, time will tell, but this is when they made quality instruments, so i am not too worried about it. Aloha from Hawaii!
If you care about sound? Teton should get recognitian they deserve!
How could anyone sleep on the the Teton sts200ent "Spruce Moose"? If you own one hold on to it?
