In 2016 we have bought three Rolf Benz relax chairs (Rolf Benz 590) via Möbel Akut.
Since that time all three relax chairs have been returned to Rolf Benz for reparation around 2019 and 2020. All three chairs had the same issue with the 'break' off the tilting system. The original building material (a small pieces off plastic) wasn't strong enough for normal usage.
Now again these three chairs are having dealing with the same problem and already two out of the three chairs cannot be used anymore... The issue is that the chairs are again unstable/wobbly and the ‘break’ of the adjustment is broken again.
The chairs are placed in a regular family house and are not used intensively…
Möbel Akut has contacted Rolf Benz twice, and received a very disappointing reaction: "After further consultation with Rolf Benz, the complaint was rejected. A repair is only possible against payment. For an exact assessment, however, the armchair would have to go to the Rolf Benz factory".
I will never ever buy Rolf Benz products again and will give a strong advise not to buy their products. The chair are way to expensive to be only used for such a short period!
Update 15-07: Untill today I have never received an e-mail reply from Rolf Benz customer service. When I uploaded the first review I have informed them via an e-mail with my review and all the background info about the complain. Last week I have send another reminder e-mail towards Rolf Benz as they didn't reply on my complaint. At least I would have expected an answer with their side of the complaint....
Frau Müllner was a huge help in helping me to select appropriate furniture pieces and fabric for a large project. What could have been overwhelming was instead fun due to her very expert design help. Frau Holzmann then assisted us working with our plans to ensure that our selected pieces would function and fit in the spaces we have. I highly recommend the Rolf Benz showroom in Nagold.
