We had a really great experience working with Grace and the entire Roen team to create our custom engagement ring. They were professional, responsive, and very easy to work with throughout the process.

We went through several iterations of the design, and Grace was patient and thoughtful at each step. She provided helpful guidance while giving us plenty of room to figure out exactly what we wanted, and it was clear that the team wanted to make sure we were happy with the final result.

They also did a great job staying in touch throughout the process and were very responsive whenever we had questions. They went beyond simply sourcing the options we initially asked about and also found additional stones that they thought might be worth considering, which was really helpful as we narrowed everything down.

The final ring turned out beautifully, and we're very happy with the result. We really appreciated the professionalism, patience, and attention to detail from Grace and the whole Roen team, and we'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a custom engagement ring.

10/10. I bought my first pair of diamond earrings from ROEN a few years ago, the Astrid studs, and I am genuinely so glad I went with James and Sherry.

As someone who’s pretty particular (about everything), there is really nothing like the quality of these. The diamonds glisten even in the lowest light, the setting is beautiful, and they continue to inspire confidence and appreciation every time I put them on, even after all these years.

I like the Astrids so much that I’m planning to get a second larger pair to wear next to them. James and Sherry have built something really special with ROEN. For something I plan to have forever, I am very glad these were my first pair.

Flawless! Catherine Hou is amazing to work with and has made the procurement process in creating a stunning and beautiful engagement ring seamless. Communication was clear, prompt, and effortless. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and patient for this huge milestone in my life. They are based in NY but she was able to set up a private consultation in SF. Looking forward in working with her again in the future! Highly recommend!!

We got my engagement ring from Roen, and we recently returned to purchase a wedding band. When we bought the engagement ring, we were given a $300 gift card and explicitly told it could be used toward a future wedding band purchase. We have an email from Roen stating: “Confirming we will honor the $300 gift card off of a future purchase :)”

At the showroom, we were quoted $2100 for a plain 4mm platinum band. Later over email, Roen asked if we were ready to move forward so they could prepare the invoice. We said yes and asked them to apply the $300 gift card.

Only then were we told the gift card could not be used because the $2100 quote was supposedly already a “thanks for your loyalty and support” discount. We were then told the band’s “real” price was $3680, and that applying the gift card would bring it down to $3380 instead.

For context, we had just tried on comparable plain 4mm platinum bands from Cartier and Graff priced around $2200–2550. Claiming the actual price of this band is $3680 — substantially more expensive than major luxury houses — is simply not credible.

The issue here is the lack of transparency. We were clearly told the gift card could be applied toward a wedding band purchase, were never informed of any exclusions, and only learned this after agreeing to move forward with the order. It felt misleading and left a very bad impression.
