terrible customer service
terrible customer service. On 07/19/26 mooning I called their number and was put on hold listening to the music for one hour but still couldn't get anybody. I had to give up.
Unsolvable wifi binding error
Within 3 months of use it stopped connecting to wifi. I can press the button on the machine and it'll clean the whole flat but I can't get it to bind to wifi. "Check wifi name and password and try again."
I've done that multiple times. Looked at the troubleshooting pages everywhere, including You tube. Switched it off at the wall and on again 30 minutes later. Wiped all info from the app, deleted it, waited a day, started again. Altered my wifi settings. And so on and so on.
Not a hope in hell of ever getting this thing to work.
It vacuums and mops well enough, but I can't send it to a particular room, can't programme it to start at a particular time, or do anything other than start when I press the go button.
That's a lot of money for the most basic vaccum mop.
Their customer service team sent my…
Their customer service team sent my recently repaired robot vacuum to my old address despite me attaching return address inside and outside package. They refused to be held liable for it.
I purchased the upright Roborock which leaked all over…
I purchased the upright Roborock which was excellent for a few months then it began to leak. The leak appears to be at the front seam of the thin plastic water reservoir. I contacted support which eventually sent me another one. 6 months later the replacement leaked everytime we used it so I had to basically mop behind its use. They first told me I would receive another reservoir but later after not receiving anything stated to mail my vacuum to a repair center. After it sat in the corner I noticed the light was off & it will no longer come on. Support refuses to respond to further contact & emails. Never again for me!!!
Bought a Saros 10 robot vacuum from…
Bought a Saros 10 robot vacuum from these guys in the black Friday sales November 2025. By April 2026 the machine developed a fault and I sent it back for repair. I was told it was repaired and would be returned to me. DPD only attempted delivery once when I wasn't home and sent the item back to Roborock. 6 weeks later they confirmed they had it and would send out again. This time DPD informed me that they had damaged my item so badly they could not deliver it. Roborock acknowledged that this was the case and are now refusing to replace this item with a new one or refund me. Absolute poor performance and anyone should avoid dealing with this company.
I think it's amazing!
I have only had mine about 3 weeks, but so far I love it! I had some issues due to my ignorance, and I called the company 855-960-4321. The agent patiently walked me through steps, asked pertinent questions, and had me upload a video to find the problem. I have called them twice now, and they have been extremely helpful, courteous, and patient each time. I love that the machine is easy to use and is self-cleaning. So far, so good. I purchased mine from Amazon.
Excellent customer service
We had an issue with our Roborock and reached out to customer service. They were quick, professional, helpful, and replaced our Roborock as it was still under warranty. Grateful for their help and have really enjoyed our vacuum!
Floor looks fantastic
Floor looks fantastic with no sign of dust and factory detergent leaves a nice shine.
I had a problem with the app connecting to the machine. It wasn't happy that my password started with a lower case letter. But worked around the problem.
Always returns to home base.
This machine is not worth anything
This machine is not worth anything! It will constantly break down and need repair. Don’t buy! Had mine for 7 months and it’s been in 7 times for repairs. More days in repair than at my place.
Buyer beware. Avoid this company like the plague.
Buyer beware! Roborock will get your with constant part replacements. Their warranty in the US is only for one year. The product will fail and they will firmly stand by this warranty period. Additionally, they don’t even carry some parts for their own product that is a year and a half old. There are cheaper products in the market with far better customer service. Avoid this company like the plague!
Great Pricing, Consistency Borderline
A little dodgy of a product, hard to make it work. But the product category is notoriously unreliable, so not sure Roborock is any bit worse than the others. Great pricing at least!
Roborock has been a robo headache since…
Roborock has been a robo headache since day one. The machine isn’t a smart one and it doesn’t learn as it goes. It’s useless around edges and is afraid of soft drooping curtains but will plow its way loudly over chair legs? It’s the worst at maneuvering around objects and obstacles as it so claims. The customer service doesn’t exist. Worst than my cheap Wal-Mart robot but too bad he finally died.
Saros 20: A very expensive way to prepare the floor for my Dysones…
I bought the Roborock Saros 20 expecting a premium robot vacuum, but instead, I seem to have purchased a very expensive robotic assistant that gently prepares my floors for my actual vacuum cleaner.
The Saros 20 has a very interesting approach to cleaning. When transitioning from hard wooden floors to carpets, it suddenly develops a severe fear of suction. The moment it lifts itself onto the carpet, it completely loses its supposedly high suction power. Furthermore, it apparently believes the edges of the carpet are a strict no-go zone, completely failing to make a pass to pick up the debris there.
I sent the robot in for inspection, assuming something was broken. Nope! According to Roborock, it is "functioning correctly." Their helpdesk even tried to "help" by suggesting some specific manual settings I could tweak. Call me crazy, but when I pay premium money for a high-end robot vacuum, I kind of expect it to vacuum by default. Basic functions like maintaining suction and cleaning along edges shouldn't require special workarounds.
I have photographic evidence that I sadly can't upload here, but let me paint you a picture: After the Saros completed a full cleaning of my 50 m² apartment, I took out my regular Dyson and went over the entire floor again (both the wood and the carpet). The massive amount of dirt, dust, and debris left behind by the Roborock was honestly impressive.
If you truly love the physical act of vacuuming yourself, but feel like your floors need a light, robotic massage first, the Saros 20 is definitely for you. If you actually want clean floors, save your money.
Broken, lost, and won’t refund!!!!
The Roborock Q10 PF vacuum I purchased that was less than 6 months old stopped working. After multiple days of interaction with customer service having me try to repair it without success they had me ship it to Texas for repairs. 2 weeks after that they said they had repaired it and were sending it back via UPS who apparently lost it. It has now been another 3 weeks since package was verified lost by UPS and still Roborock won’t refund me my money for a new replacement vacuum. ( not that I will ever purchase a Roborock again!!!!). I have now been without a working vacuum that was under full warranty for almost 7 weeks!! Company still won’t refund my money for lost and broken vacuum. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I’ve had my roborock less than a year…
I’ve had my roborock less than a year and it started emptying its water into the base- we sent it off for repair, can back damaged and filthy. On top of that- they said if it’s water damaged it’s not covered by warranty- but I have spilled anything. The robot is faulty and emptying its own water into the machine????
Extremely disappointing first…
Extremely disappointing first experience with Roborock.
I ordered a premium vacuum directly from Roborock, paid in full immediately, and was told to expect delivery within a few days. Instead, my order has been stuck in transit for over 15 days with no meaningful updates.
The biggest issue wasn't even the shipping delay but it was the customer service. Every email I received was a generic template saying they were "following up with the carrier." No one could explain why the shipment was delayed, provide an estimated delivery date, or offer a real solution. Even after multiple emails, I was never given any concrete information.
I purchased this vacuum specifically for an event at my home, but because of the delay I couldn't use it. After waiting more than two weeks, I finally requested that my order be canceled and fully refunded because I had completely lost confidence that it would arrive. And then they wouldn't cooperate on that too.
To make matters worse, after all this waiting, Roborock offered only a $20 refund if I continued waiting. For a product costing over a thousand dollars, that felt completely inadequate.
Shipping delays can happen, but how a company communicates during those delays is what defines good customer service. Roborock failed in that regard. As a first-time customer, this experience has been extremely frustrating, and I cannot recommend doing business with this company.
Expensive Robot roborock Qrevo S Unrepairable After Only 16 Months
I purchased a Roborock robot vacuum/mop for over $550 expecting a premium product with long-term reliability and support.
After only about 16 months, the vacuum stopped working. As a contractor with experience troubleshooting electronic equipment, I determined the control board had failed. Roborock required me to send the unit to their service center for evaluation. After inspection, they confirmed exactly what I had already diagnosed—the control board was defective.
The shocking part was their solution!
I was informed that the vacuum could not be repaired because Roborock does not have replacement control boards available. In other words, a machine costing more than $550 became electronic waste barely over a year after purchase because the manufacturer does not support it with replacement parts.
Their compensation offer was a discount of only $20–$30 toward the purchase of another Roborock vacuum.
Think about that for a moment. A premium-priced vacuum fails after 16 months, cannot be repaired due to unavailable parts, and the company offers a discount that wouldn't even cover a small accessory purchase.
My issue is not that a component failed. Electronics fail. My issue is that Roborock confirmed the failed part, could not provide a replacement, declared the machine unrepairable, and then offered what I consider a token discount as a solution.
This experience has left me with serious concerns about Roborock's long-term support and repairability. Before purchasing a Roborock product, I would encourage buyers to consider what happens after the warranty expires and whether replacement parts are available for major components.
Based on my experience, I will not purchase another Roborock product.
When we first got our Roborock I…
When we first got our Roborock I thought it was absolutely amazing. But we’ve had nothing but issues. The LiDar broke twice in under 2 years and warranty only being 1 year I had to pay out of pocket. When I emailed them saying this is not okay they didn’t care because warranty expired. Second, hair would wrap in the brush constantly and cause issues and third, you can’t clean the water holding tanks so the dirty tank got RANCID.
Saros 10R Broken after 4 months
We ordered model Saros 10R. The vacuum cleaner was working fine as expected for the first 3 months. Then, its performance dropped down leaving so many dirts on the floor. The side arm that is for cleaning the corner completely stopped working. The suction power got weak.
The mopping is the worst part specially dont recommend if you have marbel floor. It leaves many water marks and also some scratches.
Now, I am going to send it for repair but in general it was a very disappointing experience considering the high price and all the inconvinence.
Poor quality product and non-existent customer service
Avoid this company and their poor quality products. LiDAR tower (key component on the robot vacuum) stopped working in the first six months. Customer service is email only and couldn’t be more unhelpful if they tried. I’m supposed to empty the water tank inside the robot to send it back for inspection. In case you missed it, the robot isn’t working. At all. But they won’t take responsibility if I return it and it’s water damaged (due to the very water tank they sealed inside the unit). Clever, huh? So now I’m left with a very expensive and very useless piece of plastic. Go with a trusted UK brand where you can at least have a conversation with a human being. Disgusting company.
