I discovered Plantazon online
I discovered Plantazon online. They had varieties I could not find locally.
I was super hopeful and made an order for €180. The website was clunky and buggy. It took three attempts.
The plants (27 total) came in two boxes. The first one arrived three days after it was shipped, but only had three plants. The other box didn’t arrive and I wrote to tell them. I was cordial and polite. Just asked for information.
Immediately, the tone was suspicious and vague. They stated both boxes had been delivered. I wrote back and assured them they had not. They responded with an email giving me no options. According to them the boxes were delivered on the same day. They said FedEx told them so.
I asked for a confirmation slip or a signature. None were provided. I insisted.
First, I was told the boxes arrived on the 25th and 26th. Three days later, that they had arrived on the 29th. Then they switched to requesting photos of the plants in order to replace them. Then they asked for a long list with code numbers to show which ones had arrived damaged. Finally, they said they would issue a partial refund only if I sent more photos. It was maddening. It was a complete lack of customer service, an insulting ploy to make me desist.
The second box finally arrived after spending nine days in transit during the worst heatwave of the year. Still, they didn’t believe me that the plants had arrived in poor condition and some totally dead.
No resolution was reached. Clearly it’s their policy to stall and put the burden on the customer. At least, they could have taken it up with the delivery company, but they never did.
Don’t ever trust Plantazon. As nice as the photos look, the product is not that great, and the customer service contemptuous and disrespectful.
