Stagecoach Performing Arts Reviews 

My daughter started Early Stages in January at Fairmilehead and is now moving up to Main Stages. She has loved every minute of her classes at Stagecoach. The staff are so nurturing and supportive. She has gained so much confidence since she started. I never thought she would be able to sing, dance and speak on her own in front of a theatre audience at the age of 6!

My son attends Halifax Stagecoach, and he bounces into his session every week, and always comes out with a smile. the work they have done with him giv es him great confidence - and he absolutely loves perming - so who knows where it will take him. Thank you to Alex, and the whole team...

My daughters 8 and 10, both attend Stagecoach Performing Arts Welwyn-Hatfield , my eldest joined first and from the moment they each joined they absolutely adored it. Three hours - one hour each or dancing, singing and theatre. Such a brilliant set of activities - and definitely tired afterwards! They made friends there and have fantastic fun as well as learning new skills . Alice, the principal, is incredible (10 % of her energy, organisational skills and drive would do nicely for me please!) She has assembled an awesome team: Jeff with (West End experience) Kate, Bradlee, Jess, Zoe and Sophie. They are all very talented and it is like a big family there. Alice is scrupulous and meticulous in her pastoral care of every one of her pupils to whom she shows a genuine interest and knowledge in and makes each one feel special and very welcome.
We later moved to Harpenden but stayed at Welwyn and Hatfield Stagecoach for over a year afterwards to stay with the team. The girls have had opportunities to perform at Campus West, the Alban arena and most recently with Troupe at the Shaftesbury theatre in the West End where the standard was impressive. So much confidence building, and fun for them as well as for the parents! You will not be disappointed to take a trial with this very special set up.

It’s a family, not just a school , that’s the best thing I can say. The love and care your child is given by Linette who is the Principal of both the Primrose Hill Stage coach schools is beyond words. The children feel this from her and the staff and they copy the behaviour.
Even today, I witnessed two older girls take my child and a couple of other little kids ( we had arrived early) and play a card game with them, to entertain them. Such a family vibe to the school.
The staff follow Linette’s lead of nurture and care and help the children be the best they can be. Whether you are looking for your child to perform on stages on a larger level eventually or just looking for them to gain confidence, this is the school for you.
The level of patience I have witnessed Linette and her team have when faced with rude or obnoxious parents is incredible, but it is no surprise when you see how patient they are with the kids.
As Mary Poppins would say “ Practically Perfect in every way.”

First, I go to Stagecoach, but in Beckenham as that is closer to where I live. Secondly, I love the drama as normally I like drama. Then, I like dancing which is my second favourite as I like to move and I actually think I am pretty good at it as well. Next, I adore singing as it is one of my hobbies and I have a passion for it. Finally, I am writing as Stagecoach is a lively, high-spirited place full of fun. I highly recommend it. 🌸🙂👍

Wonderful company run by great people. Our kids have been coming regularly for the last 5 years and we’ve seen them grow so much. Brilliant skills for life!

Found these classes at the Primrose Hill location quite babiesh, my daughter's school drama and class teacher performances are at much higher level and engagement.

My daughter went for a few terms so she was in mixed group - whether she was one of the oldest or youngest in the group her line was still 3 words long (she was 5yo). Time during performance is spend on Miss Linette adjusting every single child multiple times, it's uncomfortable to watch - it's like she has high functioning AHDH.

Teachers seem nice, but it seems not to be their say. I also caught Miss Linette cut them off rudely half sentence when speaking to parents. Unhealthy environment, I pulled my daughter out.

One time there was really disturbing situation when Miss Linnette yelled at me as I was upset I was locked out outside and there was no one at reception, as always. She basically went ballistic in front of my daughter and chased me down the street like a psycho in front of other parents. She needs serious help and should not be allowed around children.

Stagecoach has been such a positive part of my daughter’s life over the last four years. When she first joined, she was much less confident and often unsure of herself, but through the support, encouragement, and opportunities she received there, I have watched her grow so much.

The teachers have helped her come out of her shell, build her confidence, and believe in herself more - not just on stage, but in everyday life too.

My kids really enjoy Stagecoach. It’s excellent for boosting their confidence and performance, and the staff are very patient and friendly.

All my congrats for Stagecoach Cheshunt! My daughter participated only one term but she definitely loved it! She made new friends, she danced, sang and came back so much more confident! Good organisation, friendly staff and a very good way to improve the skills of your little ones!

My son has been attending Stagecoach since August 2023. He was only 4 and a half years old, timid, and not even able to get to the class for the first few weeks. The professional approach of the staff is above and beyond. They helped him to thrive, year after year and show after show.
Last year he was still in the early stages, and the Principal, Tina, recommended sending him to Stage 1. Such great advice! My son is now even more involved and he is happy to have 3 different classes and is enjoying all 3 hours.
He is more confident, he speaks very confidently, he is making new friends, and he is starting his exams this year.
I couldn’t be happier for him.

My daughter has been doing Drama with Stagecoach Performing Arts at the Stagecoach Southgate branch for over three years and it has been absolutely fantastic. The teaching is inspiring, supportive, and great fun, and the team genuinely brings out the best in the students. Her confidence has grown enormously, and she always looks forward to going. We’ve been consistently impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and encouragement from the staff. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Stagecoach Plymouth enough! My son absolutely loves his classes here, and a huge part of that is down to his teachers Amelia & Grace. Every time I pick him up, they are both so incredibly happy, smiley, and cheerful. It’s wonderful to see such genuine passion and positivity—it really puts my son at ease and makes him look forward to every lesson. Thank you both for creating such a welcoming environment!

My children love going to Stagecoach and have a lot of fun there, it’s great for their confidence and performance skills. The team are very kind and patient.

From my experience with a couple of South Eastern Stagecoaches, is that they are heavily Musical Theatre centred. It severely lacks in quality when it comes to real acting. MT acting can be quite pantomimic,and animated. I dont consider this real acting. Definitely not for tv. Focusing on an MT based philosophy , from an early age, could ingrain irreparable, bad habits. This could give a student an uphill battle in the future, especially, if they ever wanted a career on screen or serious stage. I have been far from impressed when it comes to the choreography and singing. Felt there was a gargantuan lack of harmony work. I’ve seen humbler performing arts schools produce far better quality for far less fees. The pupil Im associated with says they barely do any acting. I feel this is a breech of what was promised and money should be returned. The end of term performances, I’ve experienced look like they’ve been knocked up together in a couple of hours let alone a couple of months. I can’t help but feel that it’s all about the money. 💰

Students appear to achieve their goals with staff encouraging them all the way. Staff, instill in the students life's important values, such as honesty, responsibility, self awareness and ambition. In this day and age, it's also important to instill those values in their own children. Setting good examples to your own children shows character and great leadership.

My daughter has been attending for 7 years. Its been amazing to watch my daughter journey. Stagecoach is a family, I am so glad my daughter has been part of this
