I purchased Spooke foundation that gose on white and blended to your skin color. I was so eager to try, but just was not working for me. Shake in Customer service was extremely helpful. Offer store credit to buy later. Thank you Shake

Buyer beware!
This product turned deep orange on my fair skin, not what was promised at all! It said it would "adapt flawlessly". and give a "radiant, natural finish". It certainly did not! It was quite chalky/cakey looking after it turned orange, settled in my wrinkles, did not hide freckles or blemishes, and also pilled on my skin after a few hours. Returning the product was only possible if the product was unused and unopened! How would one know the product was unsuitable without opening the package and trying it? So the "return policy" is useless once you discover it doesn't work as promised!
Not disclosing the extra fees for shipping upfront is also not ethical.
"Carla" responded with the stock phrase that has been repeated on almost every complaint but after several emails finally gave me store credit with which I purchased overpriced brushes and lip liner which I hope works better than the "color-changing foundation which adapts to your skin" which does not in fact adapt to match my skin. Although I would preferred to have my money ($72.90) back, the resolution was better than nothing.

The three stars is because honestly, I would give the initial customer service a one star and the product (for me too “ashy” on my face) a two star, but eventually my inquiry was addressed and follow up by my customer service representative, Ricardo, resolved the issue.
There could be some improvements made…I ordered through a link from a social (where Smooche is succeeding in their advertising campaign), and I was never provided a confirmation number for my order. After receiving the product and deciding that I wanted to return it… I was under the impression that was an easy return policy if returned within 14 days… I struggled to find my confirmation number to provide on the website so that I could get instructions for return. I then sent an email to customer service, which was not responded to in a timely way, thus pushing me over the 14 day returns. When customer service got back to me two or three days after my initial inquiry, they offered a store credit instead of refund. After perusing the other products I decided against the store credit and wanted to pursue the refund. It took another couple of days of back-and-forth with the customer service Ricardo, but we eventually resolved this and I was issued my refund.
All in all, while it all worked out, the process was a whole lot more difficult than it should have been.
I guess these are some points that a young company could start to work on in order for their business to be more successful.

This is the first foundation I’ve worn where I had multiple people tell me I look younger! I’m 49 and it’s great feeling to hear that, so thank you. It’s my absolute favorite foundation!

the product was great, my experience to it was alright..
it wasnt something REALLY, REALLY Incredible as it was on advertisment it didnt last longer as said to my experience, my skin tone is medium when i applied it became a bit lighter than my tone. since im a combination type skin i used a loose powder on top but it did still turned oily at the end of the day, the transaction to shipping was absoultly good all went smoothly,

April was incredibly helpful regarding my order #814243. The foundation didn’t work on my weird, difficult skin. Of course I waited too long to return it and missed the 30-day window. But April found a solution for me anyway; a store credit for the total amount! I will DEFINITELY shop here again because I KNOW their customer service and April will take care of any issues that arise. Thank you, April!!!

My experience with the product was not what I had hoped when I purchased it. I am a mature (senior) lady with lines and wrinkles. I have tried many foundations over the years and have discovered that of all of them, DIOR has been the best. I did want to try SMOOCHE after seeing the many advertisements and thought it might be the answer for me. Several emails back and forth with Carla, who provided advice and encouragement, led me to order your product. After receiving it I tried different methods of wearing, with and without primer, bronzer for color because when the color developed it was too light and very matte and chalky looking. It seemed to accentuate the lines around my mouth and eyes. I knew it was not full coverage, but was hoping it would be good for everyday wear. I finally decided to request a refund so that I could purchase a full coverage foundation and CARLA was so helpful in processing a refund of order 1238777. She first offered a credit to purchase another product, but as soon as I said no and wanted a refund, she took care of it with no hesitation. I was initially hesitant to order at the beginning because of the many reviews about poor customer service. Kudos and thanks to Carla for making the refund process easier than I expected.

Nice smooches colour changing foundation, not too thick, good colour sync in areas of discolouration, can show in pores or over face fluff hairs
