I want to warn others about shopping on Makeup.
As I found out, they apparently have no effective protection against duplicate order processing.
In my case, while placing an order, their system created a duplicate of the same order and charged my card twice within one minute. I contacted their customer support immediately by phone and in writing. Instead of investigating the issue, they insisted that I had manually placed the second order myself.
According to their explanation, I supposedly managed, within one minute, to search for five different products from different brands and categories, add them all to my cart again, complete checkout, and pay for the order. This explanation simply does not make sense.
To make matters worse, the amount was then charged a third time from my foreign bank card, which was saved as the default payment method in my account.
There is no one willing to seriously investigate what happened. I understand that technical failures can occur in any company. I have experienced similar issues once with a hotel in France and once with an airline in Norway. In both cases, the companies acknowledged the mistake immediately, resolved it without any hassle, and even compensated me with goodwill gestures.
Here, however, the entire problem becomes yours, even though you did nothing wrong. So please be careful.
If you have a payment card saved in your Makeup account, I strongly recommend removing it. Otherwise, you may find yourself charged multiple times, with little chance of getting your money back.
I am attaching screenshots of the duplicate orders, the payment timestamps, and my correspondence with customer support.

The bottle of fragrance ordered had an invalid batch-code. Be sure you check it before pay. Customer support did not respond to this matter in anyway. Oh, well …

They gave product damaged and full os mushroom and never returned money

I’ve been a customer for over 8 years, overall everything is good, but when u spend like 150 dollars or even more and get either a low-quality sample or no gift at all, it's kinda dissapointing

They have hit rock bottom and refuse to rise. They send used cosmetics, as well as low-quality ones, possibly fakes. I saw too late the continuous negative reviews on trustpilot and warning reviews on their website. As a solution to the problem, they offer 60 UAH bonus for the next purchase ))), having sent used foundation serum and eyeshadow. I recommend everyone to leave complaints on dpss.gov.ua, then there will be order with such scammers.

I will add to the review: the money for the used cosmetics was returned, but I had to spend my time on this and go additionally to send the parcel back. They wanted me not to evaluate the parcel at all, this is what scammers do, with the goal of not returning anything to you if the parcel is "lost". I recommend always carefully checking parcels from them at the post office, but for myself I have decided not to deal with this store anymore.

While i was in Germany on vacation i
started using Syoss products and loved them so much that I was trying to buy it here in the US without any luck.I stumbled on this Website and placed an order of 2 Syoss hairsprays
on March 27.2025 and received my items on April 7.2025. I believe the company is located in Poland so it may take a little longer for items to be delivered .

I purchased a Clinique product in the summer which I only needed to open a few months after it was sent to me. I found that it was well beyond its use-by date as it was very dehydrated and unusable. The company didn't answer my email and when I phoned, the representative claimed that they could not process a complaint outside of the 2 week return period. This is shoddy, irresponsible practice. I won't be using them again.

I have to write another review of this ridiculous shop because they contacted me again. And the only reason they contacted me was because of the trustpilot review.

Firstly they accuse me of saying something I did not, I explain that they should read the email I sent and realize their mistake. After that, no apologies and they offer a courier.....

I asked for a courier when I wanted to make the return in the first place because their website clearly states that they will organize a courier for returns. But the first time I asked for that, they said that I need to send it to Poland.

You can imagine the anger and confusion, all of a sudden they are ready to send a courier. I told them OK, but I removed the cellophane because I did not expect to hear from them nor did I expect a courier, which they denied me previously. I have all the e-mails with pictures of the unopened items when I was sending them to Poland before they were returned to me for a confusing reason. Still waiting for a refund from the post office.

And suprise suprise, because i removed the cellophane, they wont accept the return!?!?! This experience with this shop and customer service has been horrible.

They contact me, offer me a courier because of a review but would not listen to me when I asked for courier at the beginning. And then they deny me a return because of a situation they created.

The curling iron in the order was defective. Turned on only once. The company refused to exchange the item or refund money even though a refund was requested the next day.

Instead, the company asked me to contact the repair service on my own. This is a direct violation of consumer rights law.

Horrible service. I've been canceling my mail subscription 6 times already and they keep sending me emails!!!
