There new plans with almost no notice for changing it feel really unethical and punitive to longterm clients. I hate this unbundling of features so they can nickel and dime people over things that are very necessary. The big reason I signed up was the unlimited sending limits for monthly emails but that's now being changed. The actual product isn't good enough (lots of glitches, things break without warning after working for a long time) to put up with this.
I set up Mailerlite and it was working fine for a few campaigns and then all of sudden it just stopped working, so i try and contact support, nothing, I then sent emails to support, nothing, there is no phone support or WA support, Now I need to cancel my acount and find another email tool, don;t use them

Seriously? Another price hike? News of which is delivered in yet another one these emails where the company attempts to persuade you they're doing it to "better serve the needs of our customers".
It's so transparent and so dishonest. Mailerlite has become the very thing I was trying to escape from in the first place. Yet another greedy tech company gouging its users for yet more profit, and making life almost impossible for small businesses.
I'm disappointed and angry, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere when my contract is up. I sincerely hope many others do the same.
Shame on you.
While I understand the platform’s policies regarding bounce rates, the enforcement process is incredibly aggressive. There is no warning period or opportunity to address compliance issues before the account is suspended instantly. Even more concerning is that upon suspension, all access to account settings is blocked, making it impossible to disable auto-renewal. They effectively lock you out of your account while keeping the paid subscription active, which feels opportunistic. I cannot recommend this platform to any business.

It's such a shame that they changed their pricing and limits. After spending hours working on it.
Big time Bait and Switch!! Signed up for the free plan which included several automations and forms. after spending HOURS creating these, linking them to my cart/website etc... suddenly a few months later they change the plan and say pay or else loose everything but 3 of each. Feels like extortion, and I won't support that in a company. I had to stop operations and spend hours transferring everything over to a new platform.
At first I loved this site, but now I find it so unstable and expensive for what it is.
The further you go in subscribers, the more it becomes abnormally expensive compared to competitors.
The website builder/email builder isn’t extremely practical; I tried many times to authenticate a domain and it never worked. When I try to change my plan, it just works.
It’s really a shame, but I know very well that I won’t stay long, and no that is not their AI Support that is going to help me. You litterally pay for a support, you only have an AI.
Absolute garbage experience for startup founders and developers. I recently upgraded to a paid plan to set up email workflows for my new business. While my site is still in the staging phase, we ran standard integration tests through their API. Because the backend was firing testing loops to sync data, MailerLite’s automated system flagged it as a policy violation and instantly terminated my account.
No spam was ever sent. No external lists were imported. This was 100% internal development testing on a staging site.
When I reached out to explain, I got a completely robotic response saying the decision is "final" and they will not reply further. To make it worse, they refuse to issue a refund for the paid plan I literally just purchased. They took my money, offered zero human case review, closed my account during launch prep, and provided absolutely no support.
If you are an entrepreneur or a developer building a custom platform, stay far away from MailerLite. They will happily take your subscription fee and then permanently lock your gates during testing with zero recourse. Completely unprofessional.
My experience with this service has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased their Comfort package and, within less than 24 hours of activating my account, I sent my very first email campaign to a small group. Without any prior warning, notification, or explanation, my account was terminated immediately.
What makes this even worse is that I had barely used or explored the service. Since my account was suspended almost instantly, I requested a refund because I never had a fair opportunity to use what I had paid for. They refused to refund my payment.
This is a terrible way to treat paying customers. At the very least, there should have been a warning or an opportunity to resolve any issue before permanently terminating my account. Instead, they took my money, suspended my account, and denied my refund request. I would strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing their service.
I switched from MailChimp to MailerLite because of an increase in subscriber limits (500). After using it for awhile they changed it to 250. This feels like a bait and switch and I would never recommend using a company that does things like this.
Started creating an email campaign and seeing how to import contacts. Nothing was sent from mailer light. on next use my accout was suspended/Terminated. When I emailed support they just thrwe the term back at me whai didn't help me identify anything I'd done wrong.
There is a disclaimer that you can't send a second/follow up email and all decisions are final.
As a Nrurodivergent person there is no accessability help on the website
The worst customer Experience I've ever encountered. 24 hrs after I finished all my automation the canceled my account. No explanations, representative reply was rude. All those man hours down the drain. If they're going to be so strict then put an audit feature for your clients to keep compliance. I really dislike this company.
I signed up for Mailerlite.com in April and imported all of my contacts in early June. During import, I received notifications in the app that I would automatically be upgraded to a bigger plan if my subscriber count was above my current tier. Today I find out that this automatic upgrade never happened because they were planning a significant pricing change and plan name change. There was never a notification received about this change. I'm now forced to upgrade into a plan that has features I don't want to pay for that is more than double my old plan. This kind of smoke and mirrors, forced plan change is bad news for any customer. They aren't honest, lack integrity, and won't own up to their mistake. Their support team said, Sorry, nothing we can do, pay the upgraded price. I was so excited about them too but treating customers like this is a non starter for me. Can't wait to find another provider.
I have been a loyal, paying MailerLite customer since the very beginning, running a paid 10,000-subscriber Classic account alongside a separate free tier. I used to highly recommend this service, but their integrity has completely diminished. They are shifting the goalposts on pricing and forcing an immense, uncompensated administrative burden onto my business.
MailerLite is drastically slashing their free tier limits—forcing anyone over 250 subscribers to upgrade. When you call them out on this, their "support" merely tries to upsell you to their new Power Plan with a temporary discount that expires in two years, after which you are slapped with a massive price hike.
What they don't care about is the operational nightmare this creates. Because of their forced changes, I now have to pay my assistant to spend hours manually migrating data, rebuilding email automations, setting up new forms, tagging fields, and attempting to salvage past newsletter campaigns between their legacy and new platforms. MailerLite certainly isn't footing the bill for the extra labor they’ve caused us, yet they expect me to pay more for a service I was already receiving.
A reputable business would grandfather in the loyal users who helped them build their company from the ground up. Instead, MailerLite is bleeding their existing clients dry because they are clearly struggling to find new ones.
If you are a business owner looking for a reliable email marketing partner that honors its advertised pricing and respects your time, look elsewhere. MailerLite has lost my trust entirely, and I will actively be looking for a new service to migrate to.
Another reviewer has described what Mailerlite has become as a "bait and switch" operation which sums it up perfectly.
Essentially, they've shown that they have no real concern for their users and that their primary motivation is the mighty dollar first and foremost.
This is such a shame as they used to be one of the best email automation services and I actually recommended them to a ton of people - definitely won't be doing that again!
MailerLite built its reputation on a genuinely generous free plan: 500 subscribers, 12,000 monthly emails. That's what brought me in. I built my funnels, set up a few basic automations, integrated everything around that.
Then today, June 16 2026, they halved the subscriber limit to 250 and cut monthly sends from 12,000 to 2,500. To cushion the blow, they dressed it up as a feature expansion: you now get HTML editors and custom templates nobody asked for. How generous of them.
I get that free plans need limits. But there's a difference between honest pricing and engineering a trap: let users build dependency, then tighten the screws once switching costs are high enough that paying is easier than leaving. That's exactly what this is.
The tool works fine. The company's relationship with its users does not.
What is good?
The opening rate and the tracking of a campaign.
What is medium?
The clicks are artificially high, cause they are not per unique user, so one user can inflate the clicks.
What is terrible?
After a third campaign the account got closed without any warning.
To give you an insight, the previous mail was >2 weeks ago and it was mailed to our own customers.
If they would just talk and ask, but instead they just assume things without the proper knowledge.
For me it's a pure dissapointment that you do your research and you think that you find the right tool, but it's just a poor company with even worse communication. Funny for a b2b marketing company.

You say account reviews aren't based "solely" on campaign frequency or engagement metrics, but you don't say what they are based on in my case. After three campaigns to our own customer base, sent over several weeks apart, our account was closed without warning or explanation.
Your reply here continues that pattern: vague references to "Terms of Use" and "platform integrity" without a single specific reason.
If there was a genuine compliance issue, you could have flagged it and given us a chance to correct it. Instead, the account was shut down without notice.
The action of an immediate shutdown implies we as a company are the worst company in the world.
And now, instead of explaining what went wrong, you're giving a PR-crafted non-answer that implies wrongdoing without stating it.
So for anyone else know that your account can be terminated without warning or explanation, and when you ask why, this is the level of transparency you'll get.

Terminated my account without notice or even a valid reason.
Avoid like the plague!

Sorry but you've been added to my suspension list so I will not be reaching out.

Was very happy with this website compared to mail-chimp. They allowed me to send out an annual email to my 296 email list subscribers. And now they have slashed the number of subscribers you are allowed from 500 to 250 with less than a months notice. Terrible. I don't need special features, I just need to send out one email per year. I can't afford >£100 to send one email. I don't know what to do now.
I used to subscribe to Mail Chimp until they reduced their max subscribers to below the level mine were at. I couldn't afford the paid subscription because I don't make money. Luckily I found Mailerlite and happily moved my subscribers over to them, though I had to learn the new system and start from scratch with my newsletter design.
Now Mailerlite have copied Mail Chimp and have used the same underhand, sneaky, greedy trick of reducing subscribers to 250. Shame on you!!! Not every business makes money and not every user of Mailerlite is a business. Now I have to start all over again. Greedy tricks as they wait until you are committed to their platform and then try to force you into paying. Goodbye...I'll try to find another company with more morals.
