Mouldex Reviews 

I had a damp and mould survey carried out by Mouldex at my property.
The report was extremely poor quality. Key problems included:

• No proper dew point or surface temperature analysis was carried out or interpreted, even though the data they recorded showed a clear high risk of mould.

• The moisture and humidity readings in the report do not match the severity of the conditions. On the day of the visit the indoor air was significantly wetter than the outdoor air, yet the property was effectively marked as having no real issues.

• Visible mould, ongoing damp problems and a long-standing silverfish infestation (which only thrive in damp conditions) were downplayed or treated as minor/isolated.

• The survey appeared very basic and showed little understanding of building pathology, ventilation, or how to correctly interpret their own readings.

Overall the report felt more like a surface-level cleaning assessment than a proper damp investigation. It left serious underlying issues unaddressed.

I would not recommend Mouldex for anyone who needs an accurate, independent assessment of damp, mould or related problems in their home.

Jools and team sorted out my mould problem, so polite, knowledgeable and nformative. They cleaned up after themselves and tidied up also, moving heavy things for me - so helpful and kind. A really good experience - thank you Jools

Gary, what a gent. I am agoraphobic, he completely understood to keep a distance, he was friendly and so helpful and polite and didn't make quick movements or talk loudly, he was sympathetic to me and my anxiety.
He explained what he was going to do every step so I could prepare.
The call centre has been very understanding too, Charlotte has been the main contact and has been patient with me whilst I've talked on the phone and has also been so friendly

We had Paul H here over the duration of a few days, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
He was so nice & friendly and always kept us up to date with what was being done the following day. We just had new kittens in the family so we had to move the around and he was so patient with us while we did so & also made sure to be patient when the cat kept approaching!
Very very happy with the work that was done.

Mouldex attended our property to upgrade our extractor fans following a survey. Howard was great, super clean worker and friendly. There was a slight hiccup over some paperwork. His colleague popped over in 10mins and sorted it all out there and then. The work looks proffessional and we can't fault the workers or the job they've done.

Had Craig. L come to do some work, and a lovely fella really polite and helpful, sorted everything for us including new vents and filter changes. much appreciated 👍

Howard at Mouldex was so efficient and friendly especially having a big two day job to do by himself. A great asset to the Mouldex team. He's highly recommended

Had an appointment today for someone to come and sort out the mould in my bedroom.
Gary turned up on time and talked me through the whole process. He's done a great job, left everything tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived earlier than expected to do an initial inspection. Most work ended up being completed at the same time.
Luke informed me of everything he was doing and checked I was happy before proceeding. All work to a high standard and work area left clean and tidy.

Paul was lovely and explained everything very well and did an amazing job and also recommended me to get some mould solution to go in paint for when I paint my flat in the future it was amazing!

Paul came today to deal with mould throughout my bungalow.
He spend a full day spraying and painting over the mould to a very high standard.
Very pleased with the excellent work and his knowledgeable and friendly approach.

Jeremy came to help and was incredibly attentive to detail. He thoroughly treated all the mould in our house. Very happy with our service would definitely recommend.

Mark, who came was very polite very respectful. He did his job professionally, is a good conversationalist… He’s good at what he does, he found issues that the last people didn’t.. The issues have been there for as long as I’ve lived here which is nine years… and there’s been a few come out over the years.
