Very frustrating experience with Lugg.
Very frustrating experience with Lugg.
I booked a Lugg Van to pick up a 79” armoire, but the crew arrived with other items already in the van and was unable to complete the pickup. The seller also told me the crew asked for help moving the item and raised concerns about how it was being handled.
Lugg later acknowledged that, based on the dimensions provided, the item should have fit in the van and said they were reviewing the crew’s vehicle internally.
However, the support response has also been frustratingly slow. I’ve spent significant time going back and forth through chat and email, and as of now I still have not been able to get the pickup successfully rescheduled.
Lugg did provide a $50 credit, which I appreciate, but given the failed pickup, inconvenience to the seller, and difficulty getting the issue resolved, the overall experience has been very disappointing. I’m hoping they make it right but I would be aware that they essentially just subcontract and I’m not sure their partner vetting process is as diligent as it should be

I would give Lugg zero stars if I could. I booked them for a move to arrive between 11am and 12:00pm. The arrival time was moving all over the place but never within the allotted time. It would bounce between 12:45pm and 2:00pm arrival which was a problem for me. As I told Lugg customer service, I need to be out of my current apartment by noon. Ultimately I received an arrival time close to 1:00pm (two hours outside the window) and I asked if they could wait to deliver my things to the new apartment by 30min because I had a conference call. The answer - they canceled on me! What a horrible experience in every aspect - excuse after excuse and ultimately they left me high and dry costing me hundreds of dollars due to my not vacating my apartment when I was supposed to. Goodbye LUGG - never again.

Lugg is the perfect solution for moving large items
This was my first time using Lugg and I found the website easy to navigate in order to hire two Luggers and a truck for my preferred timeslot. The notifications of arrival time were helpful and the Luggers were friendly and helpful in moving my piece from one location to another. I definitely recommend.
