Missing part of IKEA fr and no response nothing !!!!

I am updating my review because unfortunately, IKEA still has not resolved my issue or taken any meaningful responsibility.

To recap: I placed an IKEA order in France worth approximately €3,400. The first delivery consisted of 47 packages. I signed the delivery document in good faith, believing the delivery was complete.

When the IKEA assembly team came approximately one week later, they discovered that two large wardrobe doors were missing, worth approximately €260.

Instead of investigating the situation with their transport partner, TRUSK, IKEA France told me that because I had signed the delivery document, I should go to the police and file a complaint.

This response was already extremely disappointing.

I then escalated the matter to IKEA Sweden, hoping that someone would finally take ownership of the situation. Unfortunately, IKEA has still not provided a real solution.

TRUSK subsequently told me that they would check with their warehouse regarding the missing doors. That was... Read more

IKEA -Great Products & Even Better Customer Service

We purchased a pair of single wardrobes from the Gateshead store, got them home and assembled them.. The wardrobes represent great value for money, very sturdy and are very well made, ideal for our spare bedroom.. When we finished building the wardrobes, we noticed that one of the wardrobe doors had a 3" -4"scratch on it, this was in the finish so could have been during the manufacture process, we contacted customer support, they arranged for the delivered of a complete replacement wardrobe to our home within 3 working days, we swapped the door out and donated the spare wardrobe to a local charity... Excellent customer service and excellent quality items.. Thankyou IKEA

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Southampton branch - absolute disgrace. Staff members do not care - zero customer service. Went and spent over a grand on furniture - asked for help at the tills with three trolley between two people. Staff member refused. Then the security staff couldn’t see we had scanned some hangers, staff member advised yes we have scanned them - got in my partners face to sarcastically say well as you can see I have scanned them as a new item. I said scroll up they are scanned - he did and saw they had been then didn’t even apologise just said oh. We struggled with 4 trolleys after click and collect. Asked to speak to a manager - who clearly didn’t care. No apology given. Won’t be back.

Extremely poor……

Extremely poor……
Delivery wasn’t available so I had to opt for collection at Croydon.
Avoid at all costs.
I went to collect at 0800 as requested by the email saying my items were ready to collect.
When I got there I was told that only half the items were available and the ones that were available were soiled with dirty marks.
Clearly I didn’t accept the order and was not happy at a wasted journey and wasted fuel.
I was told I could wait for two hours for when the store opened to get a refund or “ pretend “that I didn’t come to collect and I would automatically get a refund!
I asked to speak to a Manager and was told there was no one available.
I asked for the Manager to call me and I got no call.
It was difficult to find a process to complain as they are obviously not interested in complaints.
I found a number to call whose customer skills were as bad and again I was refused to speak to a Manager.
The woman put me on hold for 15 minutes then returned and said the Manager refused to speak to me.
I am surprised at IKEAs lack of empathy and total poor service.
It was Ikea ( email )that told me to collect my items and yet they are refusing to acknowledge my call.
When I mentioned compensation for a wasted two hour round trip journey and fuel there response was we don’t give compensation.
A very poor experience dealing with sub standard staff and very low standards of customer care.

Ikea Croydon Kitchen Design appointment…

Ikea Croydon Kitchen Design appointment with Ryan. Took my own measurements, photos of existing cupboards and a list of everything we needed. Ryan failed to mention the Voxtorp range we chose is to be discontinued and the display which appeared blue, would in fact be grey once the protective film was removed. The virtual design tool was not working and Ryan was a nice guy and I trusted him. As a result, I did not check the order and simply paid. We had to return around 12 items which I did not order. In addition, 6 items were needed which he did not include in the order resulting in delivery charges. We needed 6 - 40x86 cm panels, he ordered 7 - 40x106cms. Customer Service suggested I just cut them down! I did manage to get 3 40x86 panels sent overnight by DPD - thanks for that, but Dejan could not get authorization to get more panels delivered. Collection only I was told. Not easy when Wembley is a 200 mile round trip. Return items - Ikea failed to turn up first time without informing me. Cancelled 2nd time, did inform me. 2 week wait until the 3rd attempt to collect. Ikea simply don't seem to care about unhappy customers and most give up with unhelpful customer services. For every unhappy customer they have probably over 1000 happy customers. Pity, because we do like Ikea, their products are good quality and easy to assemble. You can always escalate your grievance and go to arbitration. The CEO's email are not monitored, although 2 weeks later I received an email from a Vicky Khan
Don't get too excited as I found this person to be of no help either. My mistake was to trust the kitchen designer Ryan. I should have checked the order before paying - silly me!

The Ikea in Hammersmith is a miserable shop

The Ikea in Hammersmith is a miserable shop. Almost impossible to find your way around (obviously this is so that you are tempted by other things in the shop). The staff are unhelpful and depressed and when you ask where something is they just point and say "keep walking". This morning I had to go back to the assistant twice, and in the end asked him to come and show me where I should be looking (for pillow cases, pretty simple). It was nowhere near where he had originally pointed. Having spent a fruitless 15 minutes I couldn't wait to leave and of course like everybody else, found it impossible to find the exit! You go full of the joys of spring to have a look around and end up fed up and longing to leave - and the escalators were broken!

Damaged Part

Delivery service was good, if you’ve got a damaged part not easy to get hold of customer support. Use their fitter or they refuse to compensate you if you have to get your own fitter back to install the new part.

Given you’ve not replied David

Given you’ve not replied David. Maybe you will respond to this. Ps if anyone has a problem with IKEA. Email the CEO David.McCabe at ikea dot com

Dear David,
I am writing to bring to your attention a disappointing experience with IKEA's online ordering and delivery process.
Order 1605421937 was placed on 28 May 2026, for which I paid a £25 delivery charge. Delivery was originally scheduled for 3 June 2026. Unfortunately, only part of the order was delivered, leaving me with a worktop but none of the associated units required to assemble the furniture.
Following the failed delivery, I was advised that the remaining items would be delivered on 5 June 2026. I subsequently received confirmation messages indicating that the order was due for delivery and was even "on the truck". However, when I checked the IKEA app, the delivery date had changed again to 10 June 2026 without any notification or explanation.
I have spent considerable time speaking with one of your customer service agents, who was extremely helpful and professional throughout. Regrettably, she appeared just as confused as I was by the conflicting information being displayed across IKEA's systems.
What concerns me most is not simply the delay, but the lack of consistency and communication. At various points I have been informed that the order was:
Scheduled for delivery on 3 June;
Rescheduled for delivery on 5 June;
Out for delivery and then not out for delivery;
Still being packed; and
Due for delivery on 10 June.
These statuses cannot all be correct, yet they were presented to me simultaneously.
The inconvenience has been significant. I work in London and deliberately arranged to work from home on 3 June to receive the delivery. I then did the same again for 5 June (today), based on the revised information provided by IKEA. I am now faced with the prospect of arranging a further day working from home on 10 June in the hope that the delivery will finally arrive. Frequent changes to my working arrangements are not viewed favourably by my employer and could have been avoided with accurate communication.
I was also surprised to learn that the stock is being supplied from Southampton when the nearest IKEA store with available stock is Bristol, considerably closer to my home in Sherborne. While I appreciate that stock allocation is complex, this does raise questions about the efficiency of the fulfilment process.
Since moving to Dorset in September 2025, I have spent almost £2,000 with IKEA and, until now, have been very satisfied with both the products and delivery service. Unfortunately, this experience has fallen well below the standard I would expect from a company of IKEA's reputation.
I would appreciate an explanation of what has gone wrong, confirmation that the order will now be delivered on 10 June, or preferably sooner, as I have already had to alter my working arrangements twice to accommodate delivery dates that were subsequently changed by IKEA.
I look forward to hearing from you.

The wonderful everyday! NOT

How Ikea can call themselves the “wonderful everyday” is a joke, just driven 6 miles to Greenwich store and then waited 20 minutes only to be told that my order had been cancelled because I was one day late to collect. There is no mention of a time limit when you place the order, crap service,

Shocking. Order did not arrive. If you (finally) get through by phone they fob you off saying they will reply by email, then don't. I am owed over Euro 1600 for a delivery that never arrived and cannot get an answer from anyone

Simply bad

I bought from Ikea in other countries and my experience was good. In the UK, wow couldn’t be worse. Delivery does not come on time, personnel seem stressed out, people talk to you with arrogance and disrespect. If you have an issue and raise it with their customer service you face some of the worst behaviour almost being told off and as if you are begging them for some humanitarian help. Extremely bureaucratic.. Seriously ikea UK are only interested in selling you things and not caring what happens after that. Had a traumatic experience talking to about 4 customer service personnel about an item that was not delivered, and had to literally lead them to what to do to solve it.. then I saw this catastrophic trust pilot score they have. Guys you need to get your staff trained at Amazon or alike to learn how sale business works.. get new blood into all levels of this company of you want it to get back to shape.

I never had such a bad experience in my life. Customer service does not exist. There is only one general phone number with auto robotic voice asking you to keep pressing numbers, then long music then nothing. I was hours on the phone listening options and awaiting for someone pick up phone. There is no email customer service, where you can sent your enquiery so you dont need constantly use general number. I have odered kitchen with installation back in April, today mid of May and still no where near. The dates keep changing, I keep recieving rude emails, no one call to actually ask if I will be available next new date, but again just bold call general number. I wanted to add additional item to the existing order - NOT possible, call general number. Never again, absolutely disgusting Ikea.fr , shame on you!!!

I purchased a cabinet online

I purchased a cabinet online, but unfortunately it arrived with a damaged part. IKEA promised to send a replacement, with a maximum delivery time of two weeks. However, it has now been over two weeks and I still haven’t received anything.

What’s even more frustrating is that no one seems able to help — every time I contact customer service, I get no clear answers and nobody seems to know what is going on.

At this point, I have an unassembled cabinet sitting in my living room, and I can’t use it because of the missing part. I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service and the lack of follow-up.

I honestly don’t know what to do next, as without this element I simply cannot complete the assembly. Very frustrating experience.

Disaster Delivery Service

I ordered a wardrobe and spent over GBP 1,200 on the order which was scheduled for delivers on Friday the 3rd April. This delivery did not come which is unfortunate given I booked the time off work. There was another delivery scheduled for the 4th April which was delivered and after calling the customer help line the remaining part is now scheduled for the 6th April. This is the easter weekend and now I need to cancel all the plans I had including on the Monday I have off from work. The customer service agent offered me a GBP 20 gift voucher which I have refused because wasting a whole easter weekend waiting for a delivery mistake from Ikea is worth a lot more to me than GBP 20. I would actually like a reasonable offer of compensation for this.
