I was very happy with the product. I have tried several different at home coloring kits and this one by far is the best.It covered my gray, but didn’t make my hair look so dark that it looked unnatural. I am a cancer survivor and my hair struggles to hold onto the coloring, but the hela hair product works great!

Excellent product and performs as they say i would recommend a shade darker than you think i ordered both the medium brown and dark. The medium did not cover the grey that well but the dark brown did the job just fine.
No irritation to skin i use this product on my beard and have used other products in the past that have caused irritation.
I would highly recommend Hela hair

Unfortunately, it burned my scalp on the paych test. Also, I have not received correspondence back from the Help contact about getting a refund. I will update my experience if this changes.

Love the color. Quality is good. The dye immediately worked and doesn’t tint my nails when washing them off. I also like the natural aroma of it- doesn’t smell like chemical. Since I have migraine and sensitive to strong chemicals, this dye works great for me as it doesn’t trigger my migraine. Will definitely purchase again

This is the worst product I’ve ever used first of all as soon as I opened it it had been leaking even though it was a sealed unit then when I proceeded to put it on according to the instructions which I followed Word for Word I waited the 15 minutes recommended then proceeded to wash it off and low and behold it completely and utterly stained my skin. It’s now looking like it’s been drawn on the most worst hair colour I’ve ever used keep away people it’s a complete lie. It’s stained your hands and it stains your skin. It claims not to have PDP‘s butt. It also felt like it was stinging even though I did a patch test and showed no initial reaction. 

The product is gentle and easy to use. The pump made it less messy and the amount precise. I like that the product is natural. The customer service reps quickly to your inquiry.

I love the ease of use and the ability to tone up or tone down with one quick application. It looks very natural, and sometimes the shade is better than what I thought I wanted.

I was very hesitant that this product would what it said it would. To my complete surprise it worked exactly as they said. I did have to do two applications to cover my gray but I don't care because it is way better than sitting in a salon and a lot less expensive.

I have dark brown long hair. I ordered and applied the Dark Brown colour. It was VERY difficult to pump out of the bottle but it was easy to apply onto my hair ( no dripping). No strong aroma. After 25 minutes, I rinsed it off and applied the conditioner, let it sit, and rinsed it off. I actually found my hair was much lighter in colour and had red tones in it instead of the dark brown colour that I was hoping for. Maybe I should have selected the black brown colour for my hair. Overall not quite what I was expecting but, I might try again with the darker colour.
Note: for long hair, you probably will only get 2-3 applications out of a bottle, so it’s not very cost effective. You also can’t see how much is left in the bottle so it’s difficult to judge if there’s enough in the bottle for another application.

I have been using this product nearly a year and I love the ease of use. No mixing required. One bottle last 3 times as long as the JFM product. Customer service actually responds to your questions.

This was the first time I ever tried to color my own roots and hair. I couldn’t believe how easy and not at all messy. I love the color, dark brown. In the sunlight my grays shine like golden honey strands. It’s been 2 or 3 weeks and it still looks nice and natural. My roots are starting to come in but not enough to color again. I love that this semipermanent color has more natural ingredients and less harsh chemicals than the salon semi permanent and permanent colors. I’ve had to have my hair dresser use both every 5 weeks. No more! And I’m 72🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂🤣🤩

Got the product within a few days of purchase, when applied it did stained my neck and face and I only left it on for 8 minutes instead of recommended 15. Product works great so I would definitely recommend it

So far very impressed, I have been using store box dye for many years and this smells so much better. I got very good coverage and a week later it's still looking shiny and good..I will see how long it lasts but since it's so easy (no.mixing) and it's clean I'm okay with more often touch-ups. Very happy so far.

It's easy to use,goes o well using the brush that's supplied. Plenty of colours to choose from. Covers the grey hair well. Lasts longer than most other semi-permanents.

It’s well packaged and the addition of the applicator is a real help. I had dark brown and it covered all the grey and it is a nice colour. Hair is soft and it was easy to rinse out but I’m afraid the smell will stop me buying more. It’s not a chemical smell - more a yeast-like smell - and doesn’t dissipate so that’s put me off.

This is a great product. The applicator makes it easy to distribute where needed. I totally stop using Just For Men!

I am so happy with this amazing product that works. I have dark brown hair. When grays grow at the root I use the medium brown or light brown in the summer and it covers beautifully. I get some highlights which I love. This product is easy, saves money going to the salon and most importantly no redness, no irritation or itching. As my hair grows I touch up as needed. I am a loyal customer.

I was looking for a blonde option for my gray hair and tried this product. To be honest, when the colour went on, it had a slight hue of green in the finished result, and somehow there seemed to be a herby aftersmell. It did tone down to a blonde of sorts, but I dont think it suits me to be honest. The formula did seem better, than the other brand they provide, as it is less harsh on the hair. Its a shame they dont do the purple in this formula, as I quite like the purple shampoo dye.

I use the Dark Brown shade on my silver/white roots and it gives me a real nice, cool light brown colour, which is what I'm aiming for. I tried the Light Brown as well but that didn't give me the desired results. Customer Service was extremely helpful in helping me find the right shade for the result that I wanted. I have used this product for a couple of years now and my hair feels quite healthy in comparison to regular hair dye. The only star left out is because I find the bottle mechanism a bit difficult to manage. On the whole, I would definitely recommend.

Ordered 2 bottles of grey… first bottle was the best grey ever over bleach and the 2nd bottle was bright ginger product with a grey label. I ended up looking like LeLoo from the fifth element. Product orders in February and used in September so they refused any refund unless I returned the bottles at my expense to Iowa which would’ve cost me half the refund price. Could never trust their products again
