If I could put 0 stars I would have done so. Honestly it’s a scam, they promise you a 30 days free-trial without engagement, I signed up for nothing as the only feature that interested me was only available with a heavy and expensive package, I didn’t do anything on the platform and could not find a way to cancel or delete my account. What a surprise, a month later I received an invoice in my e-mail inbox about a « widget » I never selected, and that I cannot see on my account. And of course, they don’t want to cancel this invoice. JUST RUN FROM THIS SCAM!

First, the software itself is highly restrictive: it does not support multiple currencies or IBANs, making it practically unusable for anyone managing international transactions or working clients outside Switzerland.

Secondly, the handling of the free trial is misleading at best. The cancellation functionality was hidden, and despite contacting customer service before the trial ended to ensure there would be no renewal, I received no response. Yet, a month later, I was billed 82 CHF for a service I neither signed up for nor intended to continue using — one I explicitly tried to cancel via email.

Transparency and responsiveness are expected when dealing with financial services, and KLARA is definitely not the one I would trust with these.

Easy to use software for Swiss SME. I use their bookkeeping software, their POS/cashier solution with the optional inventory feature and everything works perfectly well for me and our business.

I can't understand the other reviews on this platform regarding support: I got a free 1:1 onboarding and support always helped me out quickly thereafter in case of any questions.

I gave it a try. I opened an account for a trial, activated a widget but the whole solution didn’t fit my needs so I didn’t go further with the trial period…
but the add-on kept on going and they are asking me now to pay 240chf !!!
And of course support doesn’t help.

Seriously, guys @Klara, with such bad reviews on trustpilot, would you mind questioning yourself and enhance your customers experience?

Do not use. They make it almost impossible to cancel your account. I showed them that it doesn't work but they still won't refund my money. I'm not the only reviewer that had this problem, they are all correct. They just charged me 340 chf for something I absolutely don't want. This feels like a scam.

Is anyone working there? I'm trying to set up an account for a post scanning service, sent an inquiry via email, and have received no reply in 5 days. They aren't reachable by phone either. I followed up with another email to customer support. Nothing. And that's for signing up as a new customer.... I can only imagine how bad the service is after having paid something.

I moved flat, and literally wasted one month fighting through to make ePost service (provided by Klara) work again. It completely stopped for half of the month, with support claiming all is set before that.

Now they sent me a bill for the entire month! I reopened the same ticket asking to remove or reduce the bill. The same agent had the audacity to respond that it’s not their problem, I shall pay in full, and not expect 100% scanning rate! Whaaat? It was 0%! I expect to have a service I am paying for, and their issues with post is not my issue.
Not to mention, that in all my tickets the agent was mostly unhelpful with his responses too, and it only started to work because of my persistence at every step and 8 reopenings of the ticket!

Update to answer to Klara: I did report my new address to Swiss Post a month in advance, and have a written confirmation of having done it. Stop pushing your issue back to me. I have followed all your instructions, and CH post was informed too. You provided me with no service for half of the month. And no, you haven’t got back to me - your agent gave me yet another „not our problem response“ and closed the ticket. I have reopened it and still waiting.

Our experience with Klara is unfortunately way below par.
We were lured into believing that the program could provide the same level of service and functionalities as PortFinance SmartBusiness, but this is clearly not the case.
Despite our best efforts to make the inflexible and complex architecture of the program fit our needs, we had to conclude that it simply could not fulfill our requirements. Each time we tried to contact support, we systematically got the same answer: "the system can't be setup to do what you want", without suggesting an alternative.
Also, we were forced into buying a package to do some amount of testing (transaction reconciliation with the bank account) and the bill for cancellation of a service that we can't use is beyond all understanding.
We were convinced that the product was a good fit at first sight, only to be completely disillusioned and disappointed.
For a simple, straightforward solution, revert to SmallInvoice in Switzerland.
