Absolutely shocking customer service – avoid if possible!

I ordered a New York Rangers jersey in medium, using the sizing guide provided on the Fanatics website. When it arrived, it was absolutely enormous – more like a XXXL than a medium!

I contacted Fanatics requesting a refund, only to be told that because the jersey was personalised, they couldn't offer one. I explained that I was entitled to a refund because the sizing information on their website was inaccurate and the item was clearly not as described.

After almost a month of constant emails, speaking to different customer service representatives and dealing with chatbots, they eventually agreed to send a replacement. I specifically asked them to check the sizing before sending it out to make sure it was actually a medium. Guess what? It arrived and was exactly the same size as the original!

I then tried to return the item, which took several more weeks of back and forth before they finally agreed. Having sent it back, I waited over two weeks for my refund, which only materialised after I threatened to take the matter further under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act through my credit card provider.

To be fair, the jersey itself was fantastic. Unfortunately, the company behind it is anything but.

The customer service is absolutely appalling. Every time you contact them, you seem to get a different answer from a different person, nobody appears to have any record of previous conversations, and you end up having to explain the whole situation all over again.

My advice: KEEP EVERY EMAIL AND RECORD OF EVERY CONVERSATION. You'll probably need them!

Unless you're desperate to get your hands on a particular item, I'd strongly recommend buying elsewhere. The hassle, frustration and sheer amount of time wasted dealing with Fanatics simply isn't worth it.

I certainly won't be buying from them again.

Spent £120 on a jersey that never arrived. Contacted Fanatics on eBay as the delivery date was approaching but it hadn’t been dispatched. No reply. Contacted their UK customer service, who promised a response from their back office team within 48 hours after escalating the issue. Again, nothing. When the delivery date passed, I informed eBay that it hadn’t arrived but made clear I still wanted the item. Instead, my order was cancelled without any explanation. Absolutely terrible customer service from start to finish and not good enough when spending that sort of money.

My son ordered 2 shirts in August, one for me to give as a gift and one for himself and we are still waiting for the order to be shipped!
Had yet another email from Fanatics stating a delayed dispatch and now quoting 14th November, but no reason given as to why the delay has occurred!
They even told my son he could cancel the order but was not able to get a refund, when he called them!
This is obviously not right and is not in line with online selling practice.
Company and their customer service (he did get to speak to an actual person) need a complete overhaul as this is really poor.
Sadly, I won't be agreeing to purchase gifts from them in the future.
Delay's are understandable, especially in the current climate, when items are being made abroad and then shipped to a UK company, but poor customer service really is unacceptable!
I hope they can turn things around and improve, as it's nice being able to purchase from a UK based company rather than paying large shipping fee's and potential customs charges!

The returns portal is useless continuously giving errors. Customer service e mails are obviously ai generated and i had to send around 5 mails before it understood my request. If you prefer dealing with a human company who actually want to provide customer service don't buy here.

Big shout out to fanatics. I really love the sports stuff they sell.
Quick and easy transaction and delivery within a week with most of my purchases. My go to.

Great site Fanatics, has all the products you will find on the official team sites shop and then some also prices can be cheaper for the official merchandise.

FRAUD DO NOT USE. Will send one item but leave a small item out. When you contact chatbot they say the item is not eligible for re-ship or refund. When you phone the same chatbot repeats over and over. They break all distance selling laws. Everyone should contact Police and Trading Standards to get these fraudster based in Stakehill, Middleton in North Manchester put them out of business FRAUDSTERS

Items returned and received by Fanatics 26.09.2026. The chat bot says refund has not been processed as I failed to return items yet I have proof of the return & that it was in fact delivered. 4 weeks now and still waiting for a refund.

Prompt service and quality goods

Absolutely dreadful.
Order made and received wrong letter fonts (EFL instead of WSL) so complained and 'note' made to correct.. order came through again in exactly same fashion. Both returned for a refund and received Comms about refund coming... Another issue and refund was not processed despite the insistence of the useless AI on phone

Clothing is great quality and can be had at great prices with discount codes. When I’ve had issues in the past they resolved them quickly and refunded without question.

Website is very easy to use and the delivery is safe and fast. Have bought from Fanatics several times and have never been disappointed with the quality and price. Highly recommend them.

Purchased some NHL items, arrived quicker than estimated.
