Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your consultation wasn't the experience you were hoping for.

Our consultations are intentionally detailed because we provide a premium product and, as the saying goes, the devil is in the details. We ask homeowners to remain with us throughout the consultation so that important design and specification choices can be discussed as we go. Details such as transom heights, mullion widths, internal window boards, glazing options, security upgrades, and smart home features like Kubu all need to be agreed before we prepare a quotation. We believe this is the best way to ensure every customer receives the right products and designs for their home rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

We're also sorry that you felt the consultation was a "hard sell". Introducing ourselves and taking the time to understand what a customer wants and needs forms part of the full service we provide. The vast majority of customers who choose Droylsden Glass appreciate this level of detail and leave us a 5-star review, which is what attracted you to us in the first place.

It's worth clarifying that our consultant leaving after presenting the quotation is, in fact, the opposite of a hard-sell approach. We don't believe in using pressure tactics to secure an order. If you had further questions, we would, of course, have expected our consultant to stay and answer them, but once a quotation has been presented and a customer indicates they do not wish to proceed, our consultants are trained to leave courteously and respect that decision.

Regarding finance, we'd also like to clarify that we do offer genuine 0% finance promotions. However, we do not have a standard 4.9% finance product, so there may have been some confusion with another company's quotation.

Finally, whilst you mention receiving quotations more than £15,000 lower for the "exact same design", at the premium end of the market it isn't unusual for lower-priced alternatives to be available. However, we are very confident that you will not find the same product specification, installation standards, and aftercare at a lower price from a company with an established showroom and a long trading history. Our Price Match Promise applies to genuine like-for-like quotations from companies that have traded continuously for at least 15 years and operate a showroom. Droylsden Glass is now proudly in its 44th year of continuous trading, and we believe our reputation has been built on delivering exceptional quality and value rather than simply being the cheapest.

As a premium installer, we will never compromise on specification simply to win work on price.

We're naturally disappointed that we weren't the right company for your project, but we do genuinely appreciate your feedback and wish you every success with your home improvements.
