They Raised the monthly subscription…
They Raised the monthly subscription prices by £6 for no reason at all, their reason being 'so we can shorten our response time from 3 days to same day' no one asked for this. This is a standing subscription, just straight profit, its insane for a company to be this greedy. If they raise anything else I am getting my medication elsewhere.
The experience was amazing I was…
The experience was amazing I was nervous beforehand but James was brilliant at explaining everything and put my mind at ease I really appreciate it

Knowing someone is on your side
Knowing someone is on your side, no matter what you decide, is the most useful and reassurring thing anyone could wish for. They are doing good work, supportive, gentle, kind, understanding, and you can go at your own pace, you don't have to do anything drastic or take any medicine if you prefer not to, or you can go for it if you want to, and they are improving by the day, tech is always a tricky hurdle and having the systems that work and are easy to use is a big factor, I work in tech and know how tricky it is, user friendly is my favourite thing in I.T, very grateful to have found this clinic, it has really helped me so much, and is well worth it! The more I see of them, the more I feel better about everything, and it makes a big difference to your life when you can just be you, whatever that looks like :)

I honestly don't know what else to do…
I honestly don't know what else to do at this point.
I have been a paying GenderGP patient and have now had my prescription fail to arrive FOUR separate times. Every time I contacted support, I was told that a prescription had been sent, only for nothing to arrive. I spent months chasing updates, waiting for replacements, and repeatedly having to explain the same situation over and over again.
As a result, I have now been left without access to my prescribed hormones. This has caused significant stress, anxiety, worsening headaches, fatigue, and a serious decline in my wellbeing while I wait for a resolution.
What frustrates me most is that after the first missing prescription, I expected the issue to be investigated and properly resolved. Instead, the same thing happened again. And again. And again.
To GenderGP's credit, a refund was eventually issued. However, a refund does not change the fact that I was left without medication after months of failed prescription deliveries and constant chasing of support.
At this point, if this matter is not properly resolved and I am not provided with a clear explanation of what happened to the multiple prescriptions that were supposedly dispatched, I will be considering escalating the matter to the relevant consumer protection and healthcare authorities for review.
My experience has been exhausting, stressful, and deeply disappointing. I hope no one else has to go through the same situation.

It's shit
It's shit, have had an issue with them every single time I've ordered for the last five years, I just have no other options. I currently have no testosterone because they've decided I should have no choice but to repay for the setup fee, the monthly subscription, the id check, and the consent check, that all comes to £255 for a simple £5 email I can show my pharmacy, and of course if I try and contact them I get linked to an AI that can't do anything, so basically I have no way of getting the hormones that save my life. Thanks gendergp! I hate you, you selfish, greedy, bastards

It doesn't work
Been with them for 2 years now and I've always been treated like some after thought when I'm paying an insane amount of money.
Recently, I wanted to switch my type of medication to injections. Sounds simple right? The website for members has locked me out of changing my meds and forced a higher dosage of my current prescription (which I do not want). I am writing this review because there is 0 other way of contacting them about fixing this problem and I'm not paying to fix a problem they caused.
Paid hundreds for nothing.
I have paid hundreds upon hundreds of pounds to this company, both through multiple setup and prescription fees, and through the £30 a month subscription, and haven't recieved anything whatsoever. The only help they offer is with an AI chatbot that doesnt work most of the time, and If I want to talk to a human, it will cost me another £30 for 15 minutes.
I hope you know that I fully intend to form a class action lawsuit against this company if I am not contacted about this promptly, and properly reimbursed, or at the very least given the meager amount of medication I have paid for.

Very easy and efficient, had my T within a day
Amazing and so quick oh my gosh, it was completely easy and stress free and made me feel very safe as a Tboy. The only thing is that it is on the more expensive side but it is a private service so it is to be expected. I definitely recommend! It's also super easy to do everything discretely and I haven't needed to talk to customer service once.

Okay when you have no other choice.
Okay when you have no other choice but the customer service is atrocious and treatment recommendations are often done by AI which leads to mistakes. The company is extremely negligent and cares more about making money than the wellbeing of their customers.

Used to be decent, now awful
Gender GP was overall great until their overhaul a couple years ago. They replaced most of their staff with AI, they stopped doing reduced rate subscriptions for those on low income, and the staff they do have left are so much worse at their job than the previous staff. They also stopped offering shared care with your GP (UK). You used to be able to ask questions and have that forwarded to the medical team. Now if you want to speak to a medical professional you have to pay loads for an appointment. After voicing these complaints I was offered a free "Wellbeing Appointment" (usually 8 pounds) where I was given blatantly incorrect information when asking about my testosterone medication and also finasteride. Whats happened to Gender GP is the product of deeply sinister greed and a willingness to exploit an extremely vulnerable and typically low income community.

Gentle clarity in a complicated system From James
From the outset, my session with James felt incredibly grounding… like being guided through something complex by someone who genuinely understands its weight. He has a rare ability to translate intricate, often overwhelming information into something clear, accessible, and almost reassuring.
What could easily have been a daunting process instead felt navigable, even hopeful. I left the session feeling far more informed and steady in my next steps, which is no small thing.
James brings both professionalism and a kind of quiet empathy that makes a lasting impression. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone trying to find their way through similar paths

Mixed feelings
really only recommend gender gp if you’re absolutely desperate for hormones. Like I’m grateful that I receive my treatment, I know I have got it somewhat easier than others in terms of accessing hormones and I’m not trying to sound ungrateful. I haven’t had any proper significant problems, but when I first started off there was a member of staff called Megan (Meg) and she was really helpful, promised me she wouldn’t leave me in the dark as I was honest and confronted her from the first initial set up session that I had seen conflicting reviews and was on edge about going with them, she reassured me and made me feel at ease (as most people do if they’re getting paid smh) And I thought it was odd that over the next few weeks she was practically begging me to leave her a review, I didn’t want to leave a review at the start as I hadn’t even received my testosterone yet and it was too early on and just seemed performative, and I like to be honest in reviews as what’s the point of lying especially when the trans community are counting on reviews in order to compare other websites, and get the best out of their trans pathway (I originally got a wet paper signature prescription so it took about 2 weeks like usual as the prescription was sent by post) but she still kept asking after and because I was hyped about receiving my testosterone (physically), I left her a good review, safe to say I haven’t heard from her more or less since I left the review (it was a good one by the way) literally no communication, no contact, no explanation, just gone. I don’t know if she still works here but I just think it’s out of order to leave someone in the dark like that especially when she gave me her personal email to assure me that this wouldn’t happen, she could of at least wrote an email telling people she was no longer working there (if she doesn’t) and just forwarded it to everybody that is contacting her regarding gender gp, especially dealing with vulnerable people that are desperate for care and most of the time, advice, and are paying a huge amount of money, and are already being actively failed by the system as a whole. and unfortunately like most of the other reviews i personally hate the fact that because we are a minority that we are being taken advantage of for money and I wish (in the uk) that it would be quicker on the nhs so we all wouldn’t have to deal with this (I don’t know how it works in other countries) A few weeks back I experienced a problem with my testosterone (this was completely my mistake, I changed my prescription to injections but couldn’t personally afford them as gel is more affordable where I live) it wouldn’t let me change it back to gel until the middle of June because I had already swapped from the gel to the injections and computer said no (as it already had been twice, but I just wanted to attempt to try something new) but that was ages away and I was on my last bottle, so my pharmacy (as requested) sent the injections back to the supplier. It was a whole massive thing, and eventually by going on the gender gp website (just putting this out there just in case anyone needs to actually get through to a human rather than the ai) then clicking the chat option on the gender gp
Website (without logging in or signing up) and then telling the ai it’s an emergency and you need to talk to a human (as it will break past the ai as it’s coded a certain way) and then eventually it’ll tell you to type something for it to pass onto a member of staff and you put your email when requested and a HUMAN will contact you within the next week but it was quick for me, (about 12 hours ish). Just wanted to personally thank that member of staff called jade as they really helped me and made me feel like the £30 subscription fee was somewhat worth paying lol.

How can you give a person prescription…
How can you give a person prescription for hormones without having them take blood tests??
Gender GP isn't following their own guidelines.
This person is sitting on a live stream saying that they are getting hormones so they can keep them at home, and book a blood test later. According to you Gender GP they have to take blood test first before you prescribe hormones

I started with GenderGP in Nov 2025 - A Joke of a Sevice
I started with GenderGP in Nov 2025, there was a issue with my meds, not being sent to the Pharmacy. So i was told to use the Re-Issue button. whilst this got me my meds within a few days. I then had a surprise as GenderGP changed the next issue date two weeks later.
The issue with that is my next meds would then be late by 2 weeks. Despite emails, video calls which you have to pay for, the admin teams was not responding to front line staff.
The Nurse had to go and see the Doctor and ask him to do manual order after me getting upset on the phone due to the stress and worry of running out of meds.
The final bit that made me leave GenderGP, my debit card got replaced by the bank. I was few days late with payment and GednerGP removed all the meds from the portal. I updated the card details and made payment, sent genderGP and email and guess what No Response.
A Form word to Helen Former owner of GenderGP, please do not advertise GenderGP making them out to be the best thing on the planet. they might have been when you was in control. But sadly its a fully automated AI Service now, and if things go wrong and trust me they will. no one is there to fix / resolve any issues.
Had GenderGP been in the UK Still, I would have taken legal action to get my money back that i had wasted.
