Good marketing and Bad service
The vehicle selection and ordering was in perfect in every sense. What came afterwards was total unprofessionalism and mostly intentional incompetence.
One should buy only the newest and latest models of the vehicles to avoid any upsetting experiences with Autohero's customer service unit.
My vehicle had one of accessories missed which I failed to recognise while pickup. I was told that it's my mistake that I didn't point it out right there is a dim litted parking lot.
The premium service is almost an organised looting system. The complaints gets registered but they ask for proof in only specific file formats(compulsory field) even to start working on it- I was asked to provide a video of air leakage from tires. The problem was not even related to tires but brake pads and suspensions.
I regret buying anything from this company.

The process was easy and reliable. the personnel were polite and supportive.
I did not ordered the winter tires but received-Plus point!
the delivery postponed two times but we have not been under time pressure.
I also noticed that the Autohero would take care of the permanent car registration (KFZ Zulassung), however the system gave me only the chance to make the temporary one for the same price (169 Euro); which hold me 4 more days not to use the car to get the appointment and paid another 94 euro plus some hours!

Good car, process went well. Don’t trust the sales guy
The car is in a good condition and the process went well, but over a call with the sales person before purchase he convinced me the car was not used as a rental car (which contributed to my decision). After the purchase I found out it was actually owned by a rental company.

Defects within 6 months, claim rejected.
Regular readers of my reviews will know my Autohero journey has had ups and downs. Earlier this year, I wrote about serious delivery problems, and later about how the Customer Satisfaction team turned that experience around completely. I was genuinely grateful.
Unfortunately, I’m writing again. After only 6 months and 8,500 km, an independent workshop found that my car’s front shock absorber is leaking oil and the front brake discs are already at their minimum thickness.
A leaking shock absorber is a defect, not normal wear, and brake discs don’t wear out in 8,500 km. They must have been almost worn at handover, despite Autohero’s quality inspection.
Autohero has shown before that it can do the right thing. I hope it does so again, and I’ll gladly update this review if it does.
Update (20 October 2026):
Autohero replied that the car passed its inspection in December 2025. For other customers reading this: that report is not a full inspection. It is a follow-up check, which is only needed when defects were found at the main inspection. It confirms that those earlier defects were fixed, not the overall condition of the car at handover. I have asked Autohero for the original inspection report and the handover records and am still waiting for them. I remain open to a fair solution.
