Abacus.AI is a complete game-changer…
Abacus.AI is a complete game-changer for anyone looking to scale their AI capabilities without needing a massive team of data scientists. The platform is incredibly intuitive, offering a seamless end-to-end workflow from data processing to model deployment and monitoring. What really sets them apart is the sheer speed at which you can go from a raw dataset to a production-ready model that actually delivers high accuracy.
The versatility is another huge plus; whether you're working on LLMs, forecasting, or real-time personalization, the tools are robust and reliable. Their customer support is proactive and deeply technical, ensuring that any hurdles are cleared quickly. If you are serious about integrating cutting-edge AI into your business operations effectively and efficiently, Abacus.AI is hands down the best platform on the market. Highly recommended!
What a Scam
What a Scam, spent more then 150 euros, 75% of simple tasks failed to deliver, sucks up your credit at the speed of light, and ironically, recognises its mistakes, but does not compensate for the financial impact of it's mistakes. These tools need to be carefully regulated by the government, they take the money, don't deliver 75% of the time and don't compensate the losses they create. This is Criminal!
Where do I start
Where do I start. This is just another company who's doing exactly what other people are trying todo, compete in the rat race of AI automation and agentic AI automation, cold emailing/calling businesses to get them sign up. The back end uses a cluster of obvious vibe coded emojis with no real care if the system looks AI or not. Emdashes are used almost everywhere and it just seem's like a vibe coded project being sold at a ridiculous cost every month and nothing appears unique.
It's like if v0/netlify/lovable/n8n just became one app, an app that looks and appears entirely vibe coded.
This is absolute profesional scamer
This is absolute profesional scamer, event simple chat burn your credits. No tranparancy at all.
VERY UNPOLISHED and frustating UX
Good service proposition with a VERY UNPOLISHED and frustrating UX and user experience.
Examples:
1. It's IMPOSIBLE to move a Chat with a short name to a project because the only route to do this is clicking in the three dots of chat name and the three dots only appears when the mouse hover over the name (doesn't keep fixed nor a second) and if there's some distance between the end of the name and the three dots there is no way to reach the three dots. Moreover: by the same reason it is also IMPOSIBLE to rename the chat so is a Catch 22 dead end. A simple and ultra basic user operation rendered imposible by the horrible UX design. VERY FRUSTRATING.
2. It does not help that the sidebar has no handler to resize the width (to shrink the width so the chat name ends near the three dots menu).
3. And to compound the problem THERE IS NO ALTENATIVE WAY for a chat to be renamed or moved to a project. Learn with Windows UX since 1986: Any basic operation mouse or interface/visual operation always must have AT LEAST two different ways to do it for if one of them fails.
4. The Help fails miserably to respond or address the problem and there is no way, email, chat, webform to reach the service staff to give direct feedback about this or another problem. A classic mute, blind and deaf AI-only-one-way company.
5. It seems a very opinionated app with arrogant designers who seem to know what is best for UX and that's it. No interest in feedback or improvement.
6.And less important but annoying: a coinfusing and childish collection of icons/frames to showcase the services that reminds the colorful kitsch decoration of India's trucks or locomotives. But this is not the place.
In a word: an otherwise good service/price proposition ruined by a very poor handling of UX and user fedback.
NOT RECOMMENDED for the moment.
Abacus AI is a scammy-feeling
Abacus AI is a scammy-feeling, overpriced mess. The credit system burns absurdly fast, the code mode is unreliable, and the platform feels designed to drain users instead of helping them. For the amount it charges, the execution is poor and the experience is frustrating.
Total scam after stoping the…
Total scam after stoping the supsrription they charge us for more then one year now
Absolutely useless company
Absolutely useless company, 90% of drivers are rude, pre booked taxis are always late (between 20 and 40 mins late every time) and when you call they are rude and unhelpful.
In the beginning
In the beginning, I loved the service. It helped me get items off the ground quickly. After following the guides and publishing the application, it was apparent that security holds were abundant. I made 3 attempts to contact Abacus.ai support (email was the only option I could find). After two weeks and no answers, I figured it was time to move on. I was simply using the $10 a month subscription. Our company was paying good money on average per month.
I can't speak to their enterprise plans, but for SMB's, I would be careful on putting your business processes in their hands - especially, when you can't get support.
They're Scammers
First off. The credits they give you are too few. It's difficult to add your own api keys. So your 30k credits are gone in no time flat. I meant to cancel it, but forgot. They dinged my card but there was nothing in there so they couldn't get their charge.
Usually that's the end of that. But then a few hours after I had an account, they dinged me again. I asked for a refund, it took two days just to get a reply. Their reply was:
Hi there,
Please note, we don't have a refund policy for subscriptions that have already renewed, which is standard practice for services like Netflix and Amazon Prime.
The ego of these people. They aren't Netflix or Amazon. They're just scammers. I'm currenly filing a dispute with my bank for the money back. I kinda wanted to use it elswhere.
Very shady and NON-TRANSPARENT Pricing. Bots constantly waste Credits
Very shady and scammy. Their bots purposefully make constant errors to deduct credits. I purchased the basic plan that includes 20,000 credits. I requested a simple ONE-PAGE landing page to be created in HTML5. After over an HOUR, the bot said Sorry they had created in NEXT.JS even though I clearly requested HTML5. It then deducted 438 credits from my account for IT'S mistake and said I ran out of credits for this task. Really? I'm supposed to get 20,000 credits...They will not disclose ANYWHERE how many credits are used for tasks. Very shady and crooked. They say no refunds even though this is the second time their bot purposefully disregarded instructions so the charge will be disputed. Do not use this service unless you want constant problems and bots robbing your credits...
AI slop
the deep agent is the only one worth a crap, but its obscenely expensive... fine for actual complecated tasks with tons of subtasks.
dont use "routeLLM" it always picks gemini and gemini is incapable of a single correct answer.
their support sucks, they only tell you to "try it again"...
but the dang thing picks gemini light or something completely incapable of ever getting a single right answer.
it costs at least 2x what it should to get anything done, not one of my projects was able to be completed here. I've wasted 4x the time as if i just did the process manually, fighting with the bs AI SLOP the bs support that says try it again or doesn't respond.
I'm going to have to file a charge-back, this service is terrible. I did nothing but waste time & money
SCAMMERS ALWAYS MAKE THIER AI DO WRONG…
SCAMMERS ALWAYS MAKE THIER AI DO WRONG THINGS AND KEEP MAKING THEM MONEY FOR WASTED COMPUTE TIMES, THEY DONT LET YOU CHANGE MODELS EITHER AND OTHER MODELS WORK FOR SHOR TIME AND GOES BACK TO THIER CRAP SYSTEM AND USE OWN SYSTEM TO BLEED YOU DRY AND MENTAL, WE WARNED THEY BIG SCAMMERS
Very opaque pricing structure
Very opaque pricing structure. In two different days, with just a couple of prompts with around 10 PDFs attached you will lose 6,000 credits out of 20,00 credits all for $10. It's like $0.50 per prompt. Granted, that doesn't sound like much money, but I could have been inputting this stuff into Gemini and get 3 free Pro prompts with the same amount of PDFs uploaded and summarized. They market their product like the user can do an insane amount of work with 20k credits at their disposal. But even without PDFs added your total requests will be very limited. Using bare API keys via OpenRouter is much cheaper for the same models.
Good interface, good experience
Good interface, you can choose your model through a variety of choice, and the client service is responsive.
Great at first, but unreliable and expensive over time
I had a really positive experience with Abacus AI in the beginning. The platform was impressive, responsive, and genuinely useful for building out projects.
However, over time the performance deteriorated significantly. Tasks that initially worked smoothly started to lag, stall, or fail halfway through, while still consuming a large number of credits.
This creates a frustrating experience, especially when you’re in the middle of a project and things suddenly stop working as expected. The credit usage becomes expensive very quickly, with little to show for it.
It’s disappointing because the platform clearly has strong potential, but the inconsistency makes it difficult to rely on.
I would suggest approaching with caution, particularly on larger or ongoing projects, as costs can escalate quickly if performance issues persist.
Definitely a well oriented tool
Definitely a well oriented tool. I like the structure of the definition of requirements and the possibilities that as an older adult tell me a lot, but Abacus manages to explain and complement in a genius way. Thank you so much.
