My account was apparently compromised and unauthorized domains worth over $423 were registered through my Cloudflare account.

I did not authorize these purchases.

The worst part is the support experience. For a company as large as Cloudflare, it is incredibly frustrating that when a customer faces a serious security issue involving hundreds of dollars, there is no obvious and immediate way to reach a real support representative.

I spent a lot of time trying to find the correct contact channel, billing support and security support. This should not be this difficult when unauthorized charges are involved.

I am currently disputing the transactions through PayPal and asking Cloudflare to investigate the unauthorized access, cancel the registrations and refund the money.

I will update this review depending on how Cloudflare handles the case.

Currently, my experience with their customer support has been extremely poor.

I have a phone ,tablet and chromebook, only phone will pass cloudflare. All share the same router, and on laptop ,shows successful, then i click box that i am human it starts back to spinning again ,says successful, i click i am human and the loop starts again. I have online banking and on phone keyboard and figures are so small I can not navigate, but on tablet and laptop all in sync with phone i still can't access cars for sale, bank on line or any other site using cloudfare. All the other bot protectors like CAPTCHA work fine ,its only cloudflare that blocks me. I have checked settings on chrome, google and don't have any extensions running but still get blocked

I am well into my seventies, but still like to go to watch my local Non League football sides, to support them on their home match days. Obviously to be able to keep up with match dates, kick off timings and any changes to schedules etc, I need to access the club and their league web sites, but I keep finding a message telling me that "access has been blocked" to some of them. I can't ever seem to find out why, or fix the problem easily and FA Full Time regularly refuses me entry ... due to the intervention of CLOUDFLARE. A more annoying company I have yet to come across and after all, what possible good is there in banning an old man from finding out, if and when his local football side is playing at home, or accessing their results???

Your rotten stinking Cloudflare just lot a well known electrical appliance retailer in the UK an order because you blocked my access to the payment page!!!

All was well but after some 2025 update - their system always perceives browsers as "out of date," even modern ones. That means Cloudfare blocks my and other users' access to certain websites thinking we're bots...
It appears so often, closing or hiding all browsing area in front of users!
Also, We noticed, that we are losing real visitors because they simply close the tab instead of solving their endless captchas and loops.
What else - me and my colleagues found out that Cloudfare supports some scam domains!

I am denied access to websites I use a lot by Cloudflare.
I am an old man, not a 'malicious bot'!
They recommend several ways to prove it, but they don't work for me.
Do NOT use Cloudflare.
I, and others, will never see your website if you do!!

I read that Cloudfare have blocked Sandstonefx? Many of us have trading accounts with them and live ongoing trades. If Cloudfare are blocking those trades many of us will be in financial trouble because we cannot access our trading accounts or open live trades. This is serious!

Cloudflare has received a lot of lawsuites because they are one of the most CORRUPTED firms in USA and WORLDWIDE, they get money from other firms to block traffic from competitors , they are supporting hostings that promotes scammers, unfair competition, frauds, identity thief, copyright frauds, pishing websites ,they do it for MONEY, they hide behind a computer thinking that nobody can touch them , cloudflare have not lost a legal case because all the lawsuites have been in USA courts where they must be placed in an INTERNATIONAL COURT like rome tribunal in italy or Holland because internet is for all and they can not block free SPEECH and help gánsters for MONEY, please Google this ULRICH RICHTER MORALES VS GOOGLE MÉXICO, mr Ulrich Made Google paid 260 million dollars he is mexican i Will team up With Him , i Will give a lesson to cloudflare so when they want to play God they Will think it twice , i recommend people who stop using cloudflare, it is like the movie SLEEPING With the enemy , it is surveillence, they are low class hackers playing they are a company , people are Smart and internet can not be kidnaped by low class people who just care about money and have no values and ethical principles

I just want to make sure that this review will be one of my official document. I'm not sure exactly when it started but it was a few years ago that Cloudflare started to pop up on my screen and checking on me whether I am a human or not. To most people, this may sound Okay with you but if you give it a deep thought, this is a humiliting event, it's an act of downgrading ourselves to an animal or machine level under the name of security because that is how I felt just moments ago and for days.
Cloudflare’s appearance wasn’t that much noticeable at the beginning. It appeared on my screen, checked on me quickly and was gone and didn't show up for days. but the frequency and the intensity have been gearing up as the years went by. Now, it has spread to other sites like a virus where I visit the most. Yesterday on August 21, 2026, it was almost all day it just made my computer his home and blocking my entry to a few of my sites by presenting me the capcha. This may sound not much but if you add the multiple attempts to login, and I had to leave my computer to let it cool down thinking that maybe the heat is causing the issue. So I wasted about three hours yesterday alone. And today was exactly the replay of yesterday, and it got me so mad, I quickly open the cloudflare website, and the official website was all broken up as usual, I searched and found where you enter username and password to gain access, I started to type what I always wanted to say. I complained heavily in the username text input bar. I told him to just get out of my life. You and I have no business to even talking like this. I am not even your client of cloudflare. You and I shouldn't be talking like this. why are you keep hanging around my IP address and damaging my mental and physical stability. Not to mention the stresses and negative influences that inflict on my daily life itself. it even influenced and changed my behavior. the stress and the accumulated frustration have grown into an anger. Exposing myself to all that negative and complicated emotions for an extended period of time, behavior change is an expected outcome. The thing that doesn't stop me from wondering is why did it picked me. was it a random pick, did I do something to him, or to his friends, no matter how much I thought about over the past few years, I couldn't find the dot because I have nothing that relates to it. I am not his client, I never was his client, I never even knew such a company existed before until he showed up on my screen. And I still haven’t got the answer yet.
There are a lot more but I have to wrap it up because it’s not gonna end. Besides, the story gotten way too long already. I want to end here but before I do, I have one request to those who cared enough to read this far. Cloudflare is clearly breaking the civil law. Therefore, I would like to ask you if you know any organization that can make this type of company to act immediately to stop whatever they think is doing, please send me a brief message and I will appreciate it very much. After years of dealing with various domain registrars, Cloudflare has become my go-to.

At-cost domain renewals are the number-one selling point for me. If you're managing multiple domains and looking to keep costs down, the savings can really add up. I use Cloudflare for domains both personally and professionally.

I've had very little need to interact with support, but on the occasions I have, they've been excellent at following up and resolving issues. It's worth noting that the level and method of support available depends on the services you use and the nature of the issue. For many questions, there's also an active community and plenty of online resources to turn to.

The administration portal can feel a little busy at first, but that's largely a reflection of just how much functionality Cloudflare offers. Admittedly, I'm still getting used to it, and I mostly use the free plan.

I've also had the pleasure of meeting some of the Cloudflare team at Fal.Con Europe and came away with a pair of rather snazzy Cloudflare socks.

Great value, extensive functionality, and a service I'm very happy to recommend.

they cant be contacted even with a paid account and the ai bot sends you everywhere that doesn't work, if that worked maybe, i wont get that 4 hours back in my life ar--- holes

I have no idea how effective Cloudflare is from the business side, but as a consumer with money to spend, I make it a rule not to buy from sites where Cloudflare blocks me. I just move on. With a continuous stream of frustrated consumers and abysmal ratings, why are they still in business?

They do not have any customer support if you have a problem with their system so your just forced to use another provider and you cannot cancel your active subscriptions. When you try it shows you internal errors and if you try their support it tells you to write an email to an address no longer in use. You literally cannot cancel the subscriptions. There is no other customer support. No email. No phone. Nothing.

Awful company truly terrible. I bought a domain of google which apparently transferred to squarspace which now transferring to cloud fare. Its taken 8 days to get it properly working and I still cant get my Gmail verified because cloud fare is saying it needs to "search for nameserver from the registrar" guess what Cloud fare is my registrar. Its cost me clients that have tried to email me and haven't received it. This is by far the worst customer support on the planet and the worst company I have ever used

STAY CLEAR NEVER BUY A DOMAIN OFF GOOGLE AND NEVER USE CLOUDFARE COMPLETY USLESS

Completely ruins both website traffic and user experience with their selective user blocking and their bot verifications that get stuck in endless loops. "Performance and Security by Cloudflare". Well this is about the worst performance you could possibly give. Combine this with a literally OBSOLETE customer service system that only takes requests from those who PAY. What right does this blasted US company have to destroy the internet like this? Get the damn hell out of here. No one asked for you.

I never intended to sign up for the product, and they make it impossible to delete your account, all the while spamming your inbox. They say it takes 12 months to delete your account, even if you're lucky enough to get the delete button to work. And there is absolutely no customer support. just an endless decision tree that forces you to reference their documentation. This is a scam. A horrible, buggy, scam. Avoid.

As always, my domain renewal with Cloudflare Registrar went well. The process was hassle-free and wholesale price is a nice touch.

I used to rely on this platform for edge security on my automated workflows, but the recent Turnstile update is completely broken. I keep getting stuck in endless verification loops where basic checks fail over and over. When I tried reaching out for help, their system made me register an entirely new account just to dump me on an automated bot reply. Save yourself the headache and go with a different security provider.

DO NOT REGISTER YOUR DOMAIN WITH CLOUDFLARE! They are literally criminals.

Once you register your domain you cannot get any customer support because to get support of ANY KIND you must pay them for it!

You can’t get a human by chat or phone and there is no way to speak to anyone about billing.

The way they will sucker you in is by offering cheap domain registration fees. They also offer 5$ off if you link you bank account to your billing at cloudflare, but that’s a ripoff also because they do not give you that discount.

I’m actually amazed they are still in business - they have caused the most massive outage across the internet and their company should be listed as fraudulent. I’m reporting them as a fraudulent charge to my bank.
