Really disappointing experience with Trivago DEALS.
I searched specifically for a hotel for 5th September and went through the booking believing I was booking for that night. After payment, I discovered the booking had somehow gone through for 19th September instead. The date change was certainly not obvious during the booking process, otherwise I would never have confirmed it.
I contacted customer service immediately and explained exactly what had happened. I was told somebody would call me back, but several hours later I've still had no contact and very little information about what is happening.
I'm now left completely in limbo, needing accommodation for tonight while also having paid for a non-refundable room on a date I never intended to book.
I genuinely feel let down by both the booking process and the lack of communication afterwards. I would be very wary of using Trivago DEALS again unless this is resolved.
