Great service, prices, promise

I recently went to the US and purchased their one week data roaming plan. It is 1 GB and says it shuts off after this is used so you don't get roaming charges. This worked the first week, and then the second. In the 3rd week, the app and website trying 3 browsers hit technical failures so I was not sure I had rebooked, despite spending hours trying. When I woke up the next morning, I had 100 euros in charges.

This is not the first time this has happened to me with them. Over 2 years they have capitalised on this technique several times. Each time I thought I wasn't following their rules but now I know it was set up to do this.

I called CS and the woman said, "yeah, your phone doesn't work because you hit the 100 euro limit" probably 9 or 10 times. I explained to her over and over again that I could not book their data travel week online or wifi or anywhere, and she kept saying "yeah, your connection doesn't work because you hit the 100 euro limit". It was like speaking to someone having a conversation with someone else at the same time. Since no one can be that stupid, I assume this is what she is told to repeat. She refused to let me speak to someone else. I believe her name was Angke and we spoke in German. I was quite angry so I thanked her for her time but said she was unable to help me and of course she didn't care. I have never been so rude to a CS agent in my life. I know their job is tough, but here I lose 100 euros because of a system designed to make money this way.

The internet service is Vodaphone and works reliably.
