Quick process. Lots of time slot options to choose when traveling to London and soooo much cheaper than the train.

The price was good and the car was a new model and very clean inside and out. The deposit was returned within a couple of days.
However, the usp of this company is that you call them in the airport and they bring the car to you within 15 mins. The drop off took 50 minutes from the call.
Again returning the car we called at 6.50am and they turned up at 7.40 which is really disappointing. - luckily we had left enough time but if you are tight for time you may need to choose a different company

Hired vw California for a week in May from Lisbon. Good contact from company before hand and sent video of how to use the van - from the video it looked like it would be electric operated- roof top etc - but this was actually manual. There was a large dent in the side of the van and few marks but this was all noted on the report they sent prior to setting off. We paid for the bedding- sheet duvet and two pillows- although one of the pillows was not that great and we needed to use clothes to plump it up. The kitchen equipment was great - enough pots/pans/mugs/glasses/utensils and cutlery although it would be useful if it was in a tighter space as it did move around a bit. Plenty of room to put food etc and the fridge was a really good size.
We used the mattress from the pop top, on top of the car seat when it was laid flat as there were a few spring areas coming through. With the topper mattress it was really comfortable though and slept well. We noticed a couple of problems with the roof when it was up and informed the company straight away as that is one thing that is not covered in any insurance.
Two days into the trip we had a puncture. We were very close to our intended destination/campsite when it happened. We managed to get onto a pitch and called the helpline. He talked us through where the Jack was ( would have been helpful to have had this conversation on the original handover though?)
Getting the spare out was very tricky. The bolts keeping it up had seen a hard life and the thread had been worn. Luckily one of us knew how to sort all this out. The other wouldn’t have had a clue and when we asked the helpline guy if we could get someone out to change the tyre he said that would be a €200 call out fee even though we had full insurance which included tyre problems. Just something to bear in mind if you don’t know how to change a tyre.
We couldn’t put the punctured tyre back in the spare place because of the damaged bolt.
The following day we did manage to get the puncture fixed but the garage couldn’t replace it in the spare tyre space either so we had to put it in the boot space which meant we had nowhere for the suitcases- these had to be put on the seats for the rest of the trip when’s pretty inconvenient.

We parked up for a couple of days. The next time we drove the tyre pressure light came on again. Another panic ensued- we visited two garages although they had no capacity to look at the tyre and it didn’t seem to be going down so we took the chance that it was just a fault on the dash and drove back to Lisbon.
Explained all via email to keep company informed.
Loved the freedom of the van even with the stress of the puncture but just wanted to make people aware in case it happens to them.
Edit - Siesta offered to pay half our tolls as a good will gesture- which we accepted and really appreciate.

The perfume was cheaper than the prices in boots or other online which was great. The service in the cribbs branch was lacking. This was 9.30am and I was the only one in the shop. I asked a question and the younger less experienced by the look of it did attempt to help - the other seemed completely disinterested. The one that served me made no eye contact they both seemed really cheesed off to be there

Bird feeding station delivered very quickly. Very sturdy- stayed put during first of this year’s storms.
Looking forward to seeing lots of birds once they get used to the new feeders.

Went into store in Cribbs Causeway today - helped by Rex who gave lots of advice but was not pushy at all. Went away to think about and look in other stores but decided the ring that had been tried on was the one for us. Went back to store and Rex was not available so decided to order online. Very easy process and the 20% off was a pleasant surprise

Spent way too long looking for bedside tables and couldn’t find anything quite right. Found these and really fitted the bill. Good range of colours and with the discount code the price was in line with other options. Always a bit nervous ordering from an unknown company but they gave regular updates and the product arrived in 2 days. Tables are well made, not at all flimsy and look great. No marks or knocks on them. Really pleased would use again.

Used for the vw diesel emissions claim- completed a form a couple of years ago and were kept up to date every few months.
Payment received quickly once agreed. Very smooth process

Have used Hol taxis before so was very confident they would deliver.
Arrived in Ibiza and went to the booth in the airport as advised- very quickly allocated our driver - 2 of us in a 8 seater Mercedes very comfortable transfer.
On the way back we were supposed to be collected at 4.15. By 4.25 still no sign. Driver arrived in a mini bus at 4.30. He had just taken a larger transfer of passengers from the airport to several different hotels in San Antonio hence why late. May have been better for holiday taxis to send just a car. Also when I tried to call the number on the email it would not connect which could have been a problem had the taxi not turned up. However, I would still use again

First impressions disappointing- cul de sac shabby. Outside area dirty. A lot of the rooms seem half finished or slapdash decorating. Pipes in bathrooms need boxing in. Cleaning issues in the conservatory area and not sure the handles on kitchen cupboards have ever been cleaned. Strange tv channel system needed decoding. Lots of wires from tvs that could do with being boxed in also. Metal bed frames were very squeaky on all beds and made for a disturbed night sleep. Location of the house is good - short walk to town or beach. House is spacious and was very warm. Garden is as big as it looks on the pictures.
