Must-have tool for content creation and/or video restoration

I have only used Topaz Video. I have used it for a variety of tasks. I usually use it to upscale AI generated videos. I typically use Proteus and Gaia in combination for this. Those two models do a good job of just upscaling and enhancing 720 footage to FHD. I have also used it to upscale old recorded 720 footage - heavily pixalated and noisy - to FHD with good results. For this I used a combination of models, namely Proteus, Nyx, and Theia, depending on the tasks at hand. With some tweaking of the settings of each models I got pretty good results. I alos run those models on a very under-powered machine, which I didn't expect would be possible. So Topaz Video is for me a must-have tool for content creation and/or video restoration.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Topaz Video has become a must-have part of your content creation and restoration workflow.

It’s great to hear that Proteus and Gaia are working well for upscaling AI-generated 720p footage to FHD, and that you’ve also been able to get good results restoring older, noisy and heavily pixelated footage using Proteus, Nyx, and Theia. We’re especially glad that tweaking the model settings has helped you achieve the results you’re looking for.

And it’s fantastic that you’ve been able to run these models successfully even on an underpowered machine! Thanks again for sharing your experience and for choosing Topaz Video.

Overall pretty good

Overall pretty good. I've only used the flagship Avatar V model. The model behaves quite well most of the time, although not always. One thing that is noticeable is that the fidelity in between characters moving their lips is good, but it drops significantly while the characters talk. This is common with other lip sync models too, but with Avatar V it is quite prevelent. The worst part, however, is that the website user interface changes way too frequently, which I find very confusing and frustrating. This takes away from the experience. Other than that, HeyGen has been pretty good.
