Battery and customer service fail
I purchased an iPhone 13 and paid extra for a new battery. Unfortunately the battery was either not new/ damaged as the battery life was bad from the start and degraded quickly. No problem. I contacted Swappie about the issue and the only solution is to clear your phone of everything and have it sent back to them, where they guarantee to LOOK at it within 10 working days. So we are talking about 2 weeks without a phone until you are guaranteed they will even review. And that's without any repairs. This is not practical for anyone. How can you manage without your phone for that amount of time as a minimum. They just ignored me then, that's the only solution take it or leave it. It wasn't our first purchase, and previous experience there were no issues, but how a company handles problems is the real test. I wish I had looked into how they managed problems before I purchased. There are lots of companies offering similar products at similar prices who also can handle customer difficulties without leaving you without a device for several weeks. I would not purchase from them again as their customer service is totally inadequate for the type of product and the cost of what they sell. Phone was purchased in November but not used till after Christmas.
