Customer service line is a joke
This review is for the Ticketmaster customer service line. I bought a Ticketmaster ticket through SeatGeek for the Lionel Ritchie and EWF show at TD Garden in Boston on July 8, 2026. When I got to the venue, the ticket would not scan. I was directed to the Ticketmaster booth, where they told me the ticket was not valid because it had been non-transferrable. I had to wait in line, miss part of the show, and buy a new ticket. When I contacted SeatGeek, they natrually were not helpful. I decided to call Ticketmaster and aske them to send me something verifying that the ticket had been non-transferrable. After holding for ages, I got someone who did not speak English well and obviously paid no attention to what I was saying because she asked me for my order number. I don't have a Ticketmaster order number because I bought the ticket on Seatgeek! After waiting forever while she supposedly looked up the event, she told me the ticket had been transferrable. Without even knowing what ticket it was. I asked her why the people at the Ticketmaster counter would have told me it wasn't. She said something like "they didn't have specific informaiton about your ticket.." Yes they did. It was right there on my phone and they said it was non-transferrable. You might as well just not have a call center if you are going to have people in India who don't speak English and don't understand what I am saying answering the phone. It only makes people more frustrated. She just kept telling me to call SeatGeek. I wanted to know about my ticket that originally came from Ticketmaster. And it was TICKETMASTER who told me the ticket was no good! I don't think she had a clue and I am not sure she ever looked anything up. She just said "umhum" to everything I said, rather than answering questions. TicketMaster makes so much money off their tickets, I think they could afford to have decent or ANY customer service.
