Pension is growing!

Been with them for my pension a little over 13 months, transfer of pot 1 workplace pension was easy and took a couple of weeks. £50k added back then, now have £57,300k. £7k gain in just over a year works for me. This was plan 3 which is balanced in the middle.

Honestly really good.

Really good, don't be fooled with the name, its top service and have received stable connection, fast downloads and easy porting. I have been with EE for years (expensive so left) and then Voxi where signal wasn't great for me, decided to join 1p for its EE signal and its been really good. Monthly billing is a breeze and no contract so have choices if needed.

I recommend 1p and will update this review if things change.

Can't Recommend

Been with Voxi on and off for a few years but had to leave now and doubt I will go back.

Connection in my area is poor with Voxi and appears to have gotten worst, not sure if oversubscribed or teething issues with network, high latency, poor speeds and flaky phone calls.

Voxi drop is mostly a con, poor quality items made for Voxi drops.

Support, yeah there isn't any. Use X (Twitter) to get a response.

I cant fault them, highly recommend

Had a new install from CityFibre, no problems (apart from messy contractor and lack of caring when installing, way it go Kelly Group. A CityFibre issue not IDNet).

IDNet have been great, answered the phone quickly and always polite.

Connection has been rock solid on 1Gb, BQM been showing stability and extremely low latency.

Highly recommend.

Honestly Good

I have always been cautious about using companies that sell Used/Second hand, my go to for most things has been the A to Z company from warehouse. However I come across this delight, found the phone I wanted which was much cheaper than anywhere else, condition was "Like New".

Placed order, few days later it arrived as expect.
The phone is practically new, battery was 100%, no marks and had all bits from the box, this phone has worked flawlessly since and it is now a month in.

I will buy in future from this company on "Like New", if the phone I would like is available.

Not good experience

Sales rep knocked on the door, said a free trial and free delivery because in my area. Started throwing numbers at me and I said "do you have anything with the prices on, a leaflet or website", he ignored this and continued the chat, I asked again and ignored again and I struggled to get words in. He said free trial and I said ok.

To my amazement he pulled out a leaflet with prices on and said first order is X milk, free delivery and it continues unless cancelled and only pay for first order. Not trying to be rude I said ok thinking no harm in milk delivered (sounded like a good way to support a local business based in "Hook" I was told.

Anyway having seconds thoughts about it and actually made me somewhat annoyed he didn't give me the leaflet when asked to make a decision in my time, so decided to cancel from the website, no you have to call up.

Spoke to an agent who even after saying why I wanted to not go ahead said "I don't understand the reason why you want to cancel and just want to be clear".
Because I changed my mind and I have the right to do so.

Felt very pushy at the door and aftersales wont have me coming back to these people even if I wanted to support local farmers.

Good Reliable Service

This is a chain, it should have issues? Not found any yet and the Slough branch have always tried to help were possible, reasonable pricing and the manager does go above and beyond when it’s needed.

Had an issue with my brakes and they struggled to release the brake and was upfront about the problem, gave me a courtesy car for the evening and next day my car was fixed and ready to go.

Has become my go to for repairs, services and MOT.

Very good, my preferred.

Been a Prime member since it come out (17 years ago), really liked the LoveFilm service!

- Prime deliveries, very cost effective the amount of items I order.
- Next day delivery on majority of items.
- TV streaming with new content.
- Buy now and pay in 5 instalments.
- Customer service have refunded me a few items over the years, some from £5 too £150 without any issues!
- Mobile photo storage!

I have had issues with the odd delivery driver (this is a high turnaround job) where they are not consistent, deliveries left next door and didn’t even knock on the door… however when I email or call Amazon on the matter they always accept a mistake and apologise and I have on one occasion been compensated (around how one super large item was packaged).

Keep it up!

Cannot recommend For Support

Cannot recommend if your looking for support, I have purchased 4 Bay, 2 Bay NAS from them for personal… when these work they are great, software is heads above others.

However for work we had 2x 12 Bay units with 10Gbe NICs, we had many issues with these and support just wasn’t interested in helping, they ask for logs which they have access to, they asked for NICs to be reseated, they asked for drives to be taken out and unit powered on/off (why?). They won’t send replacement parts till they receive broken part even under a business account.

On a personal support query I had an issue with non UTF files being uploaded to an S3 compatible bucket that was failing, they didn’t care and couldn’t help me find these files causing upload problems or even direct me in a direction to try and resolve this.

Buy if your competent and can make use of the great software.

Avoid if you heavily rely on support or mission critical workloads (backups in our case with failing 10Gbe).

Good so far

My original review was for Wombat Investments not NuWealth which I have since left.


Received my £20 sign up offer within one working day, have investments in Normal and Instant account types, both have pros and cons but this is clearly explained if you actually read the guides they publish.

I have a spread some investment across funds and stocks in General account type for a low monthly fee. No problems so far. (£250).

I also have some stocks in Instant account type which has more stocks to pick from, transactions are quick once market opens. Also no problems (£1,175).

App is easy to use and works, it does need to be more refined but I have fed this back, customer service are fast to reply with knowledgeable information.

If any of the above or withdrawing becomes an issue, I will update my review.

Good Bank

Been with this bank for over 5 years and it’s been consistent, card doesn’t get declined for no reason, banking mobile app updated often and works really well. Web app works equally as well, although I tend to use the mobile app.

Adding new payees (automated call to confirm) or making payments is easy and I like how secure this is, confirm by app or sms on transactions when abnormal or large amounts.

Customer service answer in a timely manner, professional and able to answer queries.

Bulb since 2018

Been with Bulb since 2018 and one house move later, I have rang them twice during house move and not since as it’s a simple service that works, comparable tariffs and no issues with payments.

Have been advised first year to amend my Direct Debit but was a automated email so didn’t do this as my average payment equals out Winter costs. I like the App for manual meter readings and online portal for long term charts.

You can’t go wrong and majority of customers are happy and I am a happy customer.

Ordered a roller blind but decided wanted a longer drop so had to make contact before my order was made, polite staff made the change for me with no issues, delivery within expected time. Good quality and easy to fit. Good company to deal with and would order again.
