My experience with Voicewave has been fantastic! I used to have a lifetime plan with Revoicer, but I left, disappointed, when they wanted me to pay more. I also tried Speechelo, but Voicewave gave me everything both were missing—it sounds incredibly natural.

But best of all is Nico Engler. He genuinely cares about his customers, and I'm continually impressed. Just look at his ArtSpace.ai: he keeps rolling out new features without ever charging his lifetime members a cent extra.

Does everything it is suupposed to do. I use it for a weekly radio broadcast.

I've been using Voicewave for two months and am impressed for a couple of reasons. Firstly because I'm not computer savvy I initially found the software difficult to use but after reaching out for help found the company super helpful and am now confidently recording and editing my text to speech. I found the tips on dealing with unpronounceable words especially helpful. Secondly I have cloned my own voice and am impressed with the quality which even fooled my wife when I played a chapter of one of my books back to her. An excellent tool and definitely a good buy.

Voicewave has been an exceptional platform and has truly exceeded my expectations. The quality, ease of use, and overall experience have been outstanding. The platform is intuitive, professional, and makes the entire voice creation process incredibly smooth.

What impressed me most is how natural and polished the results sound. Voicewave provides an excellent balance of powerful features and simplicity, making it easy to produce professional-quality content without unnecessary complications.

I've been using VoiceWave AI for quite a while, and overall I'm very pleased with the program. The selection of voices and options is excellent, and newer features such as Conversation Mode have made it even more useful. It's a program I genuinely enjoy using and plan to continue using.

The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some aspects of the speech generation actually seemed more natural in earlier versions. Previously, sentences flowed together very smoothly. More recently, I've noticed occasional unnatural gaps between words, changes in pacing, and punctuation doesn't always seem to influence the delivery the way I would expect.

Pronunciation has also become more challenging with certain ordinary words. For example, a word as common as "Connecticut" can sound noticeably unnatural. I've tried phonetic spellings to correct pronunciation, but sometimes even those don't produce a natural result. Earlier versions seemed to handle some of this more easily and required less adjustment on my end.

I don't consider these deal-breakers at all. VoiceWave AI is still an impressive and very useful program. I think if the natural speech flow and pronunciation of the earlier versions could be combined with the features and improvements of the current version, it would easily be a five-star product for me.

I'm very happy with it overall. It just needs a few more tweaks to the pacing, punctuation response, and pronunciation system to make the voices sound as naturally conversational as they are capable of sounding. I really think they are on to something with this program. I'm sure the staff of Voicewave.AI are aware of what I'm saying because it's quite obvious that the voice flow and certain words like "Connecticut" do have some new hiccups. I love the company; they appear to want to see feedback. I would, without a doubt, and have sugested this program to others.

I have had voicewave for about 6 months. I use it to narrate my blog to use as a podcast, and the soundtrack for my social media videos.

In the beginning, there were a few issues. But, working with support, these were always addressed within 24 hrs. Further, the software keeps improving. I do an absolute minimum amount of editing and tone, inflection, pacing, pronunciation and even added breath sounds in the narration have improved greatly. I spend a.coupke if minutes editing the out put where I once used to need up to 10 times that on my self recorded audio.

How well?

I think the software is ready to be used for the recording for my book. I will be able to produce that in my own voice!

So I a m a fan. Is it perfect? Close, and getting better all the time!

I started using Voicewave.ai around a year ago and was blown away with the quality of the voices but recently something has changed. The voices that have emotions available were fantastic and each emotion sounded distinctly different but now every motion sounds exactly the same. Also the ‘life’ in some of these voices has been seemingly degraded and now they sound very monotone. I’ve tried emailing to ask if these issues are a known problem and to confirm they are being worked on but have received no response.

Update: since leaving this review improvements have started to be made on the issues with the emotion voices so I have updated my review score.

I’ve seen some of the negative reviews here, and I want to offer a different perspective as an actual long‑term customer. My experience with VoiceWave has been consistently positive, and the team behind it deserves recognition for the work they’re doing.

VoiceWave isn’t a giant corporation — it’s a small team building something from scratch, and they improve the product constantly. Updates roll out regularly, features get refined, and you can tell they’re genuinely listening to user feedback.

Any time I’ve had an issue or wasn’t fully satisfied, the team responded quickly and respectfully. On the one occasion I requested a refund, it was processed immediately with no hoops to jump through. That’s not something you see often in this industry.

The lifetime plan with unlimited use is real, and it’s one of the best values out there. VoiceWave has given me audiobook and podcast abilities I didn’t have before, and I’ve watched the tool get better month after month.

I think some of the harsh reviews overlook the reality of what it takes for a small team to build a product like this. From my experience, they care, they respond, and they keep improving. I’m confident VoiceWave will continue to grow, and I’m happy to support the team behind it.

I've been using VoicewaveAI for a couple of years. I couldn't resist the great price, making it worthwhile just to play with it, and it worked as advertised. I eventually put it aside, not having a need at the time.

When I eventually had projects with significant audio needs, multiple voices I could create but needed help reproducing at scale, I tried it again and was stunned by the improvements they've made (and continue to make). I have tried more expensive software and true, it has more bells and whistles, but honestly the fidelity VoicewaveAI produces virtually every time, with all 50+ of my voices, is better, hands down. It just is.

Voice cloning is a fairly new tool, and I would call it actually primitive at this point, across the board. Voicewave seems committed to improving, with no upselling or B.S. about credits and low limits. I literally use Voicewave all day long. I couldn't be more pleased.

I finally found a website that can help me produce my audiobooks without incurring monthly charges just to maintain access, and the sound quality is GREAT! The pronunciation and words sound very natural, they have a choice of 2400 voices to choose from, and I can clone my own voice as well. The website is user-friendly, and the support has been outstanding. I'm looking forward to a very rewarding experience, and I'm very happy with results.

Clarification of Product Performance Issues & Consumer Rights

VoiceWave's response misrepresents software troubleshooting as "substantial production" in an attempt to justify withholding a refund for a sub-standard product.

1. System Errors vs. Usable Output:
The logged activity—including repeated generation attempts—was not the creation of finished work, but the direct result of persistent software glitches, audio overlapping, and UI inefficiencies. In multi-track audio editors, retrying the same prompt multiple times is necessary when the engine fails to render properly. Under UCC § 2-314 (Implied Warranty of Merchantability), performance flaws within the software that inflate session metrics cannot be weaponized against the user to void a refund.

2. Illusory & Unconscionable Refund Terms:
Capping a 7-day refund window with a 10-minute generation threshold on a complex timeline-based software is commercially unreasonable. Navigating interface delays and testing voice clarity naturally exceeds this arbitrary threshold. Under Section 5 of the FTC Act, marketing a refund guarantee that is rendered practically impossible during standard evaluation constitutes misleading trade practices.

3. Legitimate Recourse vs. Mischaracterized "Threats":
Notifying a business of an intent to escalate unresolved disputes to regulatory authorities—such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)—is a legally protected right under U.S. Consumer Protection Laws and the Consumer Review Fairness Act (15 U.S.C. § 45b). Exercising constitutional transparency and seeking lawful administrative oversight is standard consumer protection, not intimidation.

4. Lack of Direct Responsiveness:
Direct support inquiries were delayed and met with boilerplate automated responses. Active engagement occurred only after a public review was posted, demonstrating that operational priority lies in damage control rather than functional customer satisfaction.

I stand by my evaluation. Prospective buyers should be aware that time spent dealing with system failures and UI glitches will be calculated as "usage" to deny refund eligibility.

VoiceWave.ai has been a terrific tool for me. I use it for both educational content and YouTube videos, and I have been consistently pleased with the quality of it. The voices sound natural and polished, not stiff or robotic like many AI voices, which is exactly what I need when I am creating material for people to hear and trust. My cloned voice sounds just like me, and having been a professional broadcaster for 30 years, it's not easy for AI to emulate the nuances and subtle tones of a professional speaker, but VoicerWave nails it.
What really stands out is the value. The price is quite reasonable, and the lifetime membership is hard to beat. I have used other major AI voice tools, and VoiceWave holds its own extremely well. For my needs, it has been an excellent investment.
It is also clear that real thought went into the product. The platform is useful, dependable, and creator-friendly. Good tools save you time; great tools save you time and make your work better. VoiceWave does both.
I am happy to give VoiceWave.ai five stars and would gladly recommend it to other educators, video creators, and online business owners.

I have been using this tool since November 30. Overall, my experience is quite good, especially considering it is still in beta.

The user interface is clean, minimal, and modern. It feels easy to use even for beginners. The editor is very helpful. I can cut parts of a clip, delete unwanted sections, and join multiple clips together. This makes fixing mistakes very simple. If any part of the generated voice sounds wrong, I can just cut that part and add a corrected voice again. This makes voiceover editing much easier.

Right now, voice speed can be controlled using tempo. But it would be better if pitch and emotion control were also available. That will make the tool more flexible.

In simple mode, I can generate up to 5000 characters at once, which is enough for most projects. Still, a higher limit would give more flexibility. The conversational mode is very useful for generating audio with multiple speakers. Currently, it supports up to 10 speakers and 1000 characters per speaker. I hope these limits will increase in future.

The tool currently supports 38 languages. Unfortunately, my native language Bangla is not included yet. I hope they will add Bangla and more languages soon.

The voice quality is quite good. It is suitable for both video and audio projects. I really liked the voice cloning feature. I tested it using my phone by reading just a few lines, and it matched about 95% with my real voice. With a better microphone, it can probably reach 99%.

Another amazing feature is voice design. I can describe what kind of voice I want, and the tool generates something close to that. But this feature is limited to only a few languages like English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Italian for now.

The history feature is also helpful. I can reuse and download generated voices within 7 days. It also includes copyright-free background music and sound effects. Files can be downloaded in both MP3 and WAV formats.

Since the tool is still in beta, the lifetime deal is quite affordable. However, I would really like to see more features soon, like AI sound/music generator, lyric to music generator, sound effect generator, voice dubbing, and voice changer.

Overall, it is a promising tool with good core features, but it still has room to grow.

I've been following Nico's work for a long time and own several of his products, including ArtSpace.ai, so I was excited to try VoiceWave.ai. I purchased the Unlimited Lifetime version, and it's an incredible value compared to competitors charging $99/month for similar features – VoiceWave is a fantastic 'one and done' deal.

The voice cloning works wonders! I use it to create engaging voices for YouTube children's storybooks and calming meditation recordings. A great tip: if you want different tones (excited, depressed, stern, comical), just record yourself with that intonation and clone and label it. Then you have the option of choosing that cloned voice whenever you need it. The potential is awesome.

Voicewave.ai is also super responsive. I requested manual delays [PAUSE:X] in the script, and it was implemented and released in less than 24 hours!

There's a slight learning curve to get things perfect, but it's not difficult and well worth the effort.

Nico (the brain behind the website) has a solid track record with his other products, and the unlimited plan is legit. I highly recommend VoiceWave.ai!
