I’ve not had the chance to see how well the eSIM works for cell coverage but they get 5 stars for customer service and dedication to actually resolving an issue for me. My eSIM wouldn’t work and they guided me through multiple ways to fix it, released the eSIM was the issue, so sent a new one and started over. Fingers crossed the coverage on my travels is awesome too.

Terrible business to try and purchase from Anna particularly is rude and unhelpful “customers like you” if you’re reading this Anna, isn’t the way you should address people during a discussion.

Fonus Review

I had an issue with outgoing calls after reactivating my Fonus subscription. My account was active, the payment was completed, and the app was working, but every outgoing call ended with the message: "Please contact Fonus Customer Support."

The issue lasted about 14 days. I contacted Fonus support several times, restarted the app, logged out and logged back in, and reinstalled the application, but the problem remained.

The important step was identifying that the problem was not with my phone or the application, but with the SIP/VoIP service configuration on the Fonus server side. After this was escalated to the technical team, the issue was fixed and outgoing calls are working again.

Thank you to Bruce and the Fonus support team for following up and resolving the problem.

I recommend Fonus, but I hope similar server-side activation issues can be detected and fixed faster in the future.

Great customer service and fast response. I had a software issue and I messaged customer service on the app and they got back to me quickly and resolved my issue. I wasn't expecting such great customer care with such a cheap phone service, glad I did the switch with Fonus, it was worth it.

Horrible experience, tried to get austrailian number couldn't. took 2 weeks for them to figure it out, by then it was too late, no offer of refund, partial or otherwise, basically said I should have read the legal page because as soon as I bought it doesn't matter if I get the service, I paid for nothing.

The service was prompt and precise in its resolve.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY Worst customer service experience of my life. Anne from support was extremely rude for no reason, I couldnt get my plan to work on my phone (ive used a ton of esims so i know its not something i was doing wrong) So i hit the chat button to get to live support and i connected to Anne... right away they were extremely rude and very short, didnt help me and even just left the chat with out even trying to assess my situation.. this is a major red flag for a company and i dont even believe this is a real service.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This company is a complete SCAM! they will sell you plans that simply DONT WORK. You talk to Anne from the chat customer support and she basically just laughs at you and disconnects! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!
