For the benefit of future travellers, our packages are designed as a combination of guided experiences, accommodation, transportation planning, and independent exploration time, rather than fully escorted tours where a guide accompanies guests throughout the entire journey. This is outlined on our tour pages and is intended to provide a balance between expert guidance and the flexibility to discover Japan at your own pace.

We would also like to clarify the suggestion that we are not a tour company. The majority of our tours are operated directly by Tourist Japan and are carefully designed, reviewed, and continuously refined by our team to deliver the highest-quality experience possible. For a small number of specialized experiences, we work with trusted local partners who meet the same standards of quality, professionalism, and guest care that we expect across all of our tours.

Guests are not expected to organise their trip themselves. Prior to departure, travellers receive detailed travel documentation covering accommodations, transportation guidance, meeting points, arrival information, and tour-specific instructions. Before each tour, guests receive dedicated information explaining exactly where to be, when to arrive, and what to expect. In addition, our Customer Service and Operations teams remain available throughout the journey should assistance be required.

We also offer one-on-one pre-travel calls for guests who would like additional support reviewing their itinerary, understanding logistics, or discussing any questions before departure.

We appreciate your comments regarding the way information is presented and are always looking for ways to make the travel experience even clearer and easier to navigate.

Regarding accommodation, hotels are selected based on factors such as location, quality, accessibility, and proximity to tour meeting points, and many packages offer guests a choice of hotel category during the booking process.

We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the guides. A multi-day package is designed to provide a seamless travel experience, combining expert-led tours with carefully planned itineraries, coordinated accommodations, logistics, and dedicated support throughout the journey.
