Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Constant problems, scaffolding on the wrong side of the house, missed appointments, no communication, wrongly submitted plans. Took 4 weeks after the insulation date to complete all the problems and they offered nothing for the stress and constant chasing I had to do. Avoid at all costs

I was left to do multiple things to do. Downloading apps. It was very confusing. Then I had to register with my energy supplier, luckily I uploaded the correct information.
I think a pre fitting appointment or a follow up appointment should be offered. The
Instillation went well, good team.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that the bird netting was installed at a later date; although I am pleased the team returned to resolve this, it should have been completed as smoothly as possible from the start.
You should normally have had a survey visit before installation to confirm the design and all site requirements. If this did not happen, please let me know, as I would like to understand why that stage was missed.
The monitoring app is intended to give you visibility of how your solar system is performing day to day. However, if you would prefer not to use it, that is absolutely fine—our technical team can monitor the system remotely from our head office, and you are welcome to call us at any time for an update or assistance.
We would be happy to register the system with your energy supplier for you if we were able to do so. Unfortunately, suppliers require the energy-account holder to make any changes or registrations directly.
If there is anything you are unsure about, or any difficulties you are experiencing, please contact our customer service or technical team. We will be more than happy to talk it through and help.

Equipment has some problems.
If you get a fault, they seem to expect you to do the remedials.
Three phone calls and two contact forms and still waiting to get a working monitor after 10 days.
Poor customer service given you are supposed to get 25 years warranty!

Solar panel installation
We found Infinity-Renewables by accident(web search hit).
Our contact was Rory Pack and he talked us through the process, more than once!
It's difficult to understand how it all ties together as solar power isn't in our field of knowledge, but Rory was understanding and certainly knew his stuff.
As it's a big commitment to have solar panels, we took our time and when we did, good 'old' Rory(he's young really) was there to help us through it.
It was due to be installed just two weeks after we ordered them, but we asked if it could be put back for two weeks as we were on holiday, which Rory then arranged for us.
We had a visit from a surveyor to confirm that our roof was ok to have the work take place and then it was all good to go.
There's the electrics, the scaffolding and the panels to be put up and it all went without a hitch.
It was good to be around as we had our battery put in a different place from where we originally wanted it.
All in all, it was a good decision and we're now reaping the rewards of clean energy.
We've recommended 4 other neighbours and hopefully they'll take up the very good offer from Infinity-Renewables

UNACCEPTABLE
This yearI had infinitely install a full system and included a usb (Bexie board) as have a medical condition that requires a constant power supply this as never worked, a work man came out and said it was fixed, not the case, I have reported it several times the last today and promised a call back nothing, this is unexceptionable from a company this size and my fragile medical condition.

Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry that this remains unresolved, particularly given the circumstances you have explained. I also apologise that you were promised a call back and did not receive one.
I have checked this directly with our technical team. The backup/UPS function has operated correctly during a simulated power cut, but it did not activate as expected during a live power outage. The matter remains open with Bexie for investigation and has been marked as a priority with the manufacturer.
While the blackout-protection system is designed to provide backup power, it is not a medical-grade uninterrupted power supply and should not be relied upon as the sole power source for essential medical equipment. Its duration will depend on the available battery charge, the power demand of the connected equipment, and solar generation during daylight hours.
That said, the issue you have reported is being actively investigated. We will update you as soon as Bexie has confirmed the cause and the required resolution.

The sales pitch is highly misleading
The sales pitch is highly misleading. I would even say outright false.
Problems I experienced:
1. Their teams are NOT in-house, they are subcontractors. Often the teams who arrived (who were travelling from Manchester and Liverpool to the Midlands each day) didn't even know which company they were working for. They turned up with the wrong plans once, the wrong kit mutiple times and once they turned up without solar panels!
2. They claim one day installation in most cases - it took 10 visits for my small domestic scheme. Plus scaffolding visits.
3. They did not provide the paperwork promised to register my scheme within 10 days as promised - they later told me this was always going to be impossible.
4. Their record keeping is appalling. Their records say my scheme was fitted a month before it was actually completed. Each department works in isolation and because the installation teams (scaffold, electrical and panel fitting) are not in-house, this lack of communication causes huge delays and problems.
5. The complaints team are a waste of time, hard to reach, take days to respond, don't address the issues you raise and don't actually do anything. They just buy time for the other teams to try and fix stuff.
The positives:
The equipment seems to be fitted well and working as anticipated.
Bottom line:
You can get the same equipment fitted by the same installers (sub contractors) without using Infinity Renewables. Avoid them.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your review. I appreciate the installation involved more visits than either you or we would have wanted, and I understand the disruption this caused.
For clarity, Infinity Renewables is not a sales hub. We are an established installer working with multiple energy companies and government-backed schemes. We are currently completing an acquisition into the North of England, meaning some teams have joined us from previously separate businesses. This should not be confused with simply passing work to unknown subcontractors, although I accept that the communication and coordination you experienced did not reflect the standard we expect.
Your installation was originally planned as a one-day installation. Unfortunately, complications arose during the works which required further attendance. We continued to return, provide additional labour, equipment and scaffolding access where required, and complete the installation without charging you for those additional visits. While that does not remove the inconvenience, it was never our intention to leave you with an incomplete system or refuse responsibility for resolving the issues.
The additional scaffolding visits were required to provide safe access to other areas of the roof for the panel installation. This can be frustrating, but safe working requirements have to take priority and scaffolding is a separately coordinated element of the installation.
In respect of the MCS certificate, this can only be submitted once the installation is complete and signed off by our quality team. MCS then produces the certificate; it is not issued directly by Infinity Renewables. We can control the speed of our submission and ensure it is passed on promptly once received, but we cannot issue an MCS certificate before the installation has been completed and approved.
I do feel the review overlooks the considerable effort put into completing the project and ensuring the equipment was installed correctly and is working as intended. However, I recognise that the journey to get there was more difficult and disruptive than it should have been, and I am sorry for that.

Frustrating such a shame
I contacted the sales team and spoke to Callum, received a quote and agreed to proceed with the solar panel installation on the 30th of May 2026, a few days later Callum contacted me and advised me that there had been a glitch with the computer system, the cost increased by £1000 which I reluctantly agreed too,
They cancelled the installation date and changed it too 15th of June, then near that date due to a administrative issue the installation was then changed to 21st of July, a week before installation there was some wiring issues and I was asked to change from 18 panels to 15 which I refused to do, the main installation was fitted on the 21st of June but only 6 panels were working, then on the 10th of August a infinity team arrived and they were excellent great customer service from these two guys Zach & Nas, they listened to all the issues I had experienced and went about resolving everything when they left that day, I so wished this was the team that would of come on the original installation date, all panels were fitted and working they just needed to pop back on the 18th of August to correct a few issues which they did so with no fuss, system is working fine, I totally commend Zach & Nas’s work ethic they are a a credit to the company.

Having reviewed the contract and installation records, we cannot see that the final system price increased by £1,000. The flat-roof mounting equipment, additional flat-roof surveys and bird protection were all included without charge, and a further £300 goodwill discount was applied. We would, however, be happy to review the original quotation with you directly to clarify where the difference arose.
This was an unusually complex installation involving 18 panels across five separate roof areas. Before the installation, I personally contacted you to explain the access and design challenges. The difficulty finding a scaffolding company willing to work above the glass porch due to the risk of damage. The first installation team completed the majority of the work, with Zach and Nas subsequently attending to finish the remaining sections and resolve the outstanding issues.
We fully appreciate that the changes to the schedule and the need for several visits were frustrating. However, we are pleased that our teams ultimately completed the full design.
Although we are naturally disappointed that the overall experience resulted in a three-star rating, we respect that the delays affected your view of the project. We look forward to supporting both you and your solar system for many years to come, and should you experience any issues, please contact us so that we can address them promptly.

A bittersweet experience
A bittersweet experience. Initial proposal/ quote done over telephone with salesperson. New quote issued after survey carried out. Installation date set, then it went downhill from there. Installers turned up for 1 day install but they could not complete the install as no groundworkers had been to prepare trench for cable and they had been supplied with the wrong cable. Also, they could not install the number of panels which had been quoted by surveyor so had to have one panel less in different configuration. I had to contact Infinity to find out when install was set to be completed as no one had contacted me, not to mention the lack of apology for their mismanagement of co-ordinating the job. i found the way things were handled very unprofessional. The left hand did not know what right hand was doing. After several more phone calls the install was set for 2 weeks later. 2 teams turned up to complete the install expecting the required cable to be at our address,no delivery had been made nor were we informed to expect a delivery of cable. After frantic phone calls the installers were able to source the cable from a local supplier. They managed to complete the installation. I cannot fault the installers who were helpful, professional, tidy and polite, they did an excellent job. It’s a pity I cannot say the same about sales & operations teams. Despite several calls requesting a discount for time out of work, stress and unnecessary diisruption due to bad management none was forthcoming, so much for good customer relations. To summarise , installation workers and product top notch, Company operatives less than average.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and firstly I’m pleased to hear such positive comments about our installation teams and the quality of the finished system.
I do apologise for the issues you experienced getting to that point. In particular, the incorrect cable being picked and loaded by our warehouse was our mistake, and unfortunately this meant the team could not complete everything during the original visit. We are reviewing our warehouse picking and checking processes to reduce the chance of this happening again.
I would just like to clarify the reference to a “1-day installation”. The number of installation days is used when pricing the labour required for a project. Where we believe an installation can be completed within one day, the customer is only charged for one day's labour. If our own mistake means additional days are subsequently required, as happened here, there is of course no additional labour charge to the customer. The additional teams, time and labour required to complete the installation were covered by us.
I also appreciate that having two teams arrive expecting the cable to already be at the property, only to discover it had not been delivered, added further unnecessary frustration. Credit must go to the installers for sourcing the correct cable locally and ensuring the installation was finally completed rather than causing you another delay.
The communication between departments throughout this job should have been better, particularly around the return visit, and I apologise that you had to chase us for information rather than receiving proactive updates.
While mistakes can unfortunately happen, we should have managed the situation and communicated with you better once the initial issue became apparent. Your feedback has been taken on board and will form part of the review of our warehouse and operational processes.

Let down
While the initial sales process was excellent, things unfortunately went downhill the moment the installation team got involved.
During sales, we were led to believe we were dealing with an in-house team, only to discover later that everything is outsourced to subcontractors. Whenever issues arose, the most frustrating part was Infinity's persistent refusal to take ownership, repeatedly trying to brush off subcontractor problems as being 'outside of their control.'
The operational issues started right from the get-go: the scaffolders arrived completely unannounced to begin erecting scaffolding at 7:00 PM while we were trying to put our young children to bed. Things went from bad to worse on install day, when the solar panel installers turned up with the wrong tools for the job. Even after they finally got the right tools later on, they didn't actually start work until after 5:30 PM—seriously disrupting our evening and leading us to coin the phrase 'midnight solar.'
This was followed by incorrect initial invoicing, uncommunicated visits, and severe site clearance failures. Most notably, despite having full permission to access our property, they left half-dismantled scaffolding abandoned between our property and our neighbor's while we were away on holiday—and only finally removed it after our neighbor threatened legal action. Compounding this, poor internal coordination even resulted in an electrician turning up unannounced to our vacant home.
Although matters have eventually been resolved, the stark contrast between the great sales experience and the poor execution, combined with a total lack of accountability, means we feel completely let down and would not recommend this company."

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I would, however, like to clarify one important point regarding the installation.
The installation itself was not outsourced to another company. Carl and Guy, who completed your solar installation, are part of our installation team. The only element we subcontract is the scaffolding, as this requires specialist scaffolding contractors.
I do apologise for the experience you received from the scaffolding company, particularly the late arrival and the issues surrounding its eventual removal while you were away. Although they are a separate contractor, we organise the scaffolding as part of the project and therefore accept that the experience reflects on us.
Regarding the installation taking place late into the evening, I completely appreciate the humour behind the term “midnight solar”. However, I would also like to give some credit to Carl and Guy for remaining at the property and working beyond their normal hours to ensure the installation was completed for you that day. I’m sure they would equally have preferred to have been at home that evening, but they stayed to get the job finished rather than leaving you with an incomplete installation.
I have also reviewed the communication history and can see multiple emails regarding our return visits to the property. I apologise if any of these arrangements were unclear. I have been unable to locate a record of the electrician attending completely unannounced, so I cannot fairly comment on exactly what happened with that particular visit.
There were clearly areas where the coordination and communication could have been better, and I am sorry that these affected your overall experience. However, I did want to correct the impression that the installation was simply passed to subcontractors, as this is not the case.
