I would not recommend booking with World Airfares.

I booked and received confirmation - Booking WA1960344 for a 12:20 JetBlue flight. A few days later, World Airfares repeatedly contacted me by email and WhatsApp telling me that my flight had been changed to 08:15. I specifically asked whether I had any choice, and I was told there were no other flights available that day and that the airline had changed the flight time, so I had no option but to accept.

Afterwards, I contacted JetBlue directly. They confirmed that:

My original 12:20 flight had never been cancelled.
There were three JetBlue flights available that day.
The change to the 08:15 flight was made by World Airfares, not by JetBlue.

The unnecessary change to an 08:15 departure caused significant disruption to my travel plans and created a number of avoidable difficulties.

I am extremely disappointed that I was told I had no choice because the airline had changed the flight, when JetBlue has since confirmed that this was not the case. Based on my experience, I would not use World Airfares again.

IN MEANTIME I OPENED A DISPUTE WITH PAYPAL, THEY TOLD ME TO CLOSE IT AND THEY WILL REFUND BACK TO ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD, I WENT AHEAD AND CLOSED THE PAYPAL DISPUTE AND THEY STILL REFUSE TO REFUND. I had a very poor experience with this company. I followed their stated returns process and provided photographic evidence showing that the goods were unopened and in their original packaging.

Despite this, their customer service representative, Paige, responded as follows:

“I am writing to sincerely apologise as we are unable to process a return/exchange on this occasion… we must adhere to this policy to maintain consistency for all of our customers.”

I then contacted customer services by phone and resent the images clearly showing the items were unopened. At that point, I was informed that I could proceed with a return at my own expense.

I arranged return shipping via FedEx (tracking number 870205854648). The parcel was delivered to their Middlesbrough distribution centre on 2 April 2026 at 13:43, and was signed for by D. Caddie. This provides clear proof that the goods are back in their possession.

However, the company is now claiming they never received the return, despite FedEx confirming delivery, and they are refusing to issue a refund. This involves a large order.

Under the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, they are legally obligated to issue a refund within a reasonable timeframe once goods have been returned. Their continued failure to do so places them in breach of their statutory obligations.

As a result, I have taken further action:

Escalated the matter to Trading Standards
Initiated a claim through the County Court

Order number BHD142627 was cancelled on Apr 23 2026, its 7 days later and refund STILL NOT RECEIVED

never ever order from adexa! they simply have awful customer service, they sent faulty item and wouldnt send replacement for weeks. STAY AWAY
