I have insured my classic car with them for a while but moved to another broker when they offered a significantly lower price. The latter broker sold their business to a broker who does cover classics so I approached FJ. The prices they quoted were £868 for the Essential Insurance and £1,449 for the Standard Policy. The Essential was over double the charge for cover from FJ over previous years. I shopped around and got cover for £434, but the main thing is this was from a broker using the same underwriter which FJ said their quotes were from. I had a good experience with FJ in the past - what is going on?

They promised an apartment, then switched it to another one further out. When I complained they cancelled the booking rather than get a poor review, which made matters worse., How they have a 9.6 rating on Booking.com is unbelievable.

They tried to scam me when I returned the car, otherwise, the car was great and they were friendly.
The scam involves this. They look over the car upon its return and compare it with the state of the car at the start of the rental. Our guy found a tiny chip on the windscreen which was hardly visible to the naked eye and he must have been looking for. I disagreed that this was done during our use. There were other chips which would not affect the driving experience or saftey. He said it would only cost €100, which is way too much.
Then he asked me to sign a form to 'end the rental' which I asked what the document was. He showed me the mileage, state of the tank and all looked good. I swiped and the second section which he did not show me said I accepted the costs. I did not sign and he followed me away from the office down the road trying to get me to sign. Advice? Don't sign anything to 'end the rental' it is a scam to get you to accept charges which are unreasonable.

Airpod batteries needed replacing

I took them into Islington and was given a quote of £69. Having looked up on Apples site I questioned this and they looked it up too. Oh yes £49. They kept the Airpods for diagnostic work. The estimate was £289 to replace them as they were no received audio, when new Airpods are only £129. One Airpod was quoted at £58, the other at £85 and £99 in labour was included. They admitted the errors after I questioned them but reading the reviews here (the real ones) I feel it might have been standard practice. I took them away and have an appointment with Apple - to replace the battery on the perfectly functional Airpods. They are techies and most people don't fully understand tech. A bit like car repairs, the temptation to overcharge seems to overcome them sometimes obviously. they were very civil and polite all the way through though.

Brilliant. Efficient, timely and a top class surgeon. The results are spectacular.

I cancelled but money was taken for over a year. I cancelled legally by email and this was acknowledged at the time but they directed me to the phone number that is never answered or is but has dismal music. I used Moneyclaim to bring an County Court action for all monies taken after the cancellation and they have today agreed to pay it all back.
I did suggest that this dodgey practice is ruining their reputation.

I have just been covered for car insurance with MOJA and they asked me to leave a review. I have no idea what they are like or how good they are. I have only just signed up. If I have a claim which is unlikely (none in 26 years) then I might have a view. The only think I can comment on was how I input the data and how they took my money.

Very good. I made an ordering mistake and they replaced the item Free of shipping costs. Great communication and customer service and prompt action. I would definitely buy from them again.

Usual Bait and Switch
Phoned them and they did some 'external checks' and that my car had been used as a taxi in the past. They still wanted it though and low balled their original offer.
Shysters - there is no way to check and this is the usual practice by these type of companies. Forget the 5 star reviews, that's probably a marketing company trying to swamp out the real ones.

Great product and great customer service. It seems some smelly reviews are available on this company on other forums, but the actual fact is nothing like this. Bought a pair of glasses which made me look like Harry Hill. They exchanged them for a cheaper pair and refunded the lot even though I had prescription lenses inserted. Top drawer and a fraction of the High Street price.

I made a mistake with the measurements and these guys couldn't produce the measurement I actually wanted. They offered a refund in a heartbeat. BTW their delivery was good, much better than the people we used for the correct sizes.
Need a mat? Go to them.

The web site is very easy to use, and the price was competitive. Let's hope they delivery the package on time. They haven't picked it up yet.

I echo the serious caution note on the earlier posting here.
My insurance was cancelled as the location I kept my car at changed. When I tried to contact the insurer (as the new location was actually more secure), the number didn't work and the search revealed a one page bad website which did seem like an insurers, with just a personal gmail account and a mobile phone.
Uh oh!

The accounts of the insurer show only about £100k in capital. A couple of claims would wipe them out.

Be very careful.
