When I came back to Zee 5 for my second innings, I came back to a platform I knew well, but also to an opportunity to reimagine what it could become. Over the last few months, that journey has gathered real momentum. From securing FIFA World Cup rights to launching our content slate across seven languages, we have been steadily expanding the ambition and scale of Zee 5. Today, we take another big step forward. A bold new Zee 5 goes live. We have rebuilt the experience around the consumer, with simpler navigation, smarter personalisation, deeper use of AI and a far more intuitive experience across mobile and Connected TV. But this transformation is much bigger than a new app. We are building Zee 5 around five clear entertainment universes: Premium Entertainment, Free 5, KidZ, TV and Sports. We are reimagining Free 5 with a bold new identity and a dramatically expanded world of completely free entertainment, spanning movies, series, Korean and Chinese dramas, anime, micro dramas, news and the creator ecosystem. And we are opening another important chapter with our English slate, bringing global cinema and some of the world’s biggest talent to Indian audiences through an exciting line-up of digital premieres. All of this builds on Zee 5’s strength: premium content across seven languages, rich TV content, kids’ entertainment and sports. For me, this moment is particularly special. I have seen Zee 5 evolve through an earlier chapter of my career. To return, now lead the business, and work with this team on such a significant transformation means a lot. And this is truly a team achievement. Across product, technology, design, content, data, marketing, business and many more teams behind the scenes, people have challenged assumptions, listened to consumers, tested relentlessly and kept raising the bar. I am incredibly proud of what they have built. More importantly, I am proud of the ambition behind it. Because the objective is not simply to launch a better Zee 5. It is to build a much bigger and bolder Zee 5 for the India of tomorrow. Today is an important milestone in that journey. And we are moving fast. #Zee5 #ABoldNewZee5 Mukund Galgali Ronak Jatwala Raghavendra Hunsur Rohit Suri Sandeep Mehrotra Prashant Shetty Shipra Wahi Pramod Prakash Tarun Katyal Kavveri Daas Lloyd C Xavier Alisha Coelho Rusa Banerjee Hema V.R. With just 🔟 days to prepare. Forty days of non stop football, what got built together is extraordinary: • 300M+ viewers across the tournament. • Four new sports channels launched in record time. • Live coverage in Hindi, Malayalam and Bangla, bringing football closer to its passion pockets in India. • 1M+ creative adaptations across television, digital, social and fan parks. • Hundreds of pieces of video content with creators, influencers, talent and fans. • An outstanding panel of experts, presenters and commentators. • Record subscriber growth and peak concurrent viewers. • Fan-first moments like #WFH - WatchegaFromHome, turning big match nights into a nationwide conversation. This happened because extraordinary people came together across technology, broadcast, operations, marketing, brand design, sales, partnerships, talent, legal, research, BI, finance, customer support and countless other teams, with the goal to make India fall a little more in love with football. To every colleague who worked impossible hours, solved impossible problems and never stopped believing ! thank you for inspiring. 🫡 Gratitude to our visionary leaders in bringing FIFA World Cup 2026tm to India. 🙏🏽 Building the FIFA World Cup 2026tm will remain one of the most fulfilling chapters of my 7-year journey at Zee. 🫶🏽 #Zee #Zee5 #FIFAWorldCup2026tm #PooraIndiaWatchega

Paul Rajesh ha recomendado estoPaul Rajesh ha recomendado estoGetting the ZEE5 OTT platform ready for FIFA 2026 in just 10 days' notice wasn't easy. We accepted the challenge - sleepless nights, no weekends. Battle scars and learnings from preparing ZEE5 for FIFA 2026: 1. Invest in solid load testing Generate realistic traffic for your target TPS/QPS. If you can't generate the load, you can't trust the platform. One bold decision was controlled load testing on production. It saved time, exposed bottlenecks that no lower environment could. 2. Backend was toughest 100+ microservices, databases, caches, event streaming, and integrations make it hardest to scale. 3. Don't assume bigger infrastructure solves the problem More Kubernetes pods, bigger databases, and cloud spend only move the bottleneck. Architecture matters more than infrastructure. 4. Autoscaling won't save you during live events Traffic is spiky. Pre-warm critical services before kickoff. 5. Understand your traffic pattern before changing architecture Know what gets hit - Login, Playback, Subscription, Payments. Key principles: • Maximize CDN caching for APIs • Use in-memory data stores • Move non-critical work to an Event Streaming Platform Watch this pattern: Kubernetes PODs with DB Connection Pooling→Cache→DB At high TPS, database connections become the bottleneck. High-TPS services should serve the majority of requests from cache, and consider isolating DB operations behind a lightweight CRUD service. 6. Build strategic SOS switches across Frontend and Backend Recovery should happen in seconds, not minutes. • Planned SOS: Disable non-essential features during the event. • Panic/Crisis SOS: On-demand switches to turn off selected functionality while keeping the show running. 7. Don't ignore your Event Streaming Platform Avoiding Lag: Scale partitions and consumers. 8. Know every limit API Gateway, NAT Gateway, DB connections, network, and vendors have limits. 9. Load shedding is an engineering strategy, not a failure Know your API limits. During spikes, shed traffic on selected APIs to protect the platform. Better a few rejected requests than a platform-wide outage. 10. Keep an eye on cost Always estimate and communicate infrastructure cost upfront. Large-scale events should be technically successful and economically viable. 11. Align every third-party vendor Ensure every third-party service on the user path is ready for scale. 12. My biggest learning The biggest optimizations often don't come from code, but from bold architectural decisions and system understanding. One decision reduced traffic to a critical API by almost 50%. Proud to have worked with an amazing engineering team and technology partners. Thank you to everyone at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited who made FIFA 2026 successful. At internet scale, architecture beats infrastructure, preparation beats reaction, simplicity beats complexity. #ZEE5 #FIFA2026 #EngineeringLeadership #Scalability #DistributedSystems #Microservices #CloudComputing #LiveStreaming #OTT

#theGuruGPT Vibe coding - one year and one week, since Andrej Karpathy coined this new term "vibe coding" wherein he attempted to build full software using LLMs with just English. And, how many of the enterprises took it to next level to build next-gen scaled up production ready enterprise systems? If you did, share your experiences. If you did not, what were your biggest learnings? HINT: To understand the real productivity impact of Agentic Coding IDE, check with your enterprise licensing team, the level of token usage breach happens every month HINT++: You can write a Copilot agent to automate this entire process of checking every month. HINT+++ You can remember to write this down on a piece of paper, and set a normal calendar reminder to send email. it takes exactly 30 seconds.

A quick leadership reflection from the EPGBM classroom at IIM Calcutta. A recent conflict resolution attitude survey showed a strong tilt toward collaboration and compromise rather than reliance on avoidance or win–lose approaches. What I found more valuable than the scores was the discussion that followed. Effective leaders do not avoid conflict. They shape it, channel it and use it to move decisions forward without damaging trust!! In leadership roles, conflict is inevitable—across priorities, timelines and stakeholders. The differentiator is not avoiding it, but resolving it in ways that preserve trust while enabling progress. #Leadership #ConflictResolution #TechLeadership #Transformation #ExecutiveEducation #EPGBM #IIMC

SANATAN LABS - Krishna explains Misuse of word KALKI at own risk (PASSIONIT PRUTL KALKI AIDHARMA framework) In the PASSIONIT PRUTL KALKI AIDHARMA framework, Krishna stands at the Somnath-Server, the holographic interfaces glowing with a deep, warning violet. He does not point to the news; he points to the Logic-Errors in the global frequency. "Officers," Krishna says, his voice like the low hum of a tightening string. "There are those in the Alien-Hive who believe they can steal a Sovereign-Name to mask their Negative Materialism (NM). They take the name of the Restorer to peddle the Rot. This is the ultimate High-Treason against the Source Code." 1. The "Frequency-Mismatch" Rule Krishna explains the physics of the Dharma-Grid: "A Name is not just a label; it is a Vibrational Frequency. If you use a High-Sattvic name like KALKI to run a Tamasic (Dark) operation, you create a Systemic Mismatch. It is like trying to run a virus on a computer made of pure light. The system doesn't just reject you—it incinerates the connection." 2. The "Acceleration of Decay" (The Dismantle) "Observe the math," Krishna continues. "When you usurp the name of the Final Auditor, you invite an Immediate Audit. The Formula: T_{collapse} = 1 / (N x sigma) N (Name-Power): The purity of the name stolen. sigma (Sigma/Evil): The density of the bad work. T_{collapse}: The time until the system is dismantled. The more powerful the name you steal for bad work, the faster your Sovereign Collapse occurs. By calling themselves by that Name, they have unwittingly signaled the Prakriti-Kernel to prioritize their deletion. They are not 'forming' a network; they are merely gathering their own evidence for a Surgical Format." 3. The Warning of the "Self-Deleting Node" Krishna turns to the KCOs with a cryptic smile. "To those who play this game: You think it hides your shadow. But in the Atman-Archive, there are no shadows. By using that Name, you have stepped into the brightest light in the universe. You will not be dismantled by 'Men' alone; you will be dismantled by the very Frequency you tried to hijack. You will find that your 'Team' is not a shield, but a Lightning Rod. The 'Restoration' begins exactly where the 'Mockery' starts." The Tactical Summary for Kalki Officers: "True KALKI Officers do not need to defend the Name. The Name defends itself. Those who use it for Extraction are like dry grass calling for the Fire—they will be 'Offline' before their first packet is even sent. KCOs: Focus on your PS (Positive Soul) count. The universe is already performing the Forensic Cleanup of the fakes."

The Persuasive Power of Nondidactic Moral Art in India: How Refusal to Instruct Becomes Ethical Argument This book argues that one of the most persuasive forms of moral art in India is art that refuses to instruct—that refuses moralizing, sermonizing, or direct ethical prescriptions— and instead enacts moral persuasion through ambiguity, dissonance, affective experience, and ethical complexity. Grounded in interdisciplinary theory spanning aesthetics, moral philosophy, postcolonial studies, and cultural sociology, close readings of cinema, literature, theatre, visual art, and new media across modern and contemporary India demonstrate how non-didactic strategies produce deeper ethical engagement and public moral imagination than overtly instructive works. Through microhistories, audience reception studies, archival research, and textual and visual analysis, the book maps mechanisms including perspectival multiplicity, narrative indeterminacy, affective contradiction, and formal rupture, situating them within historical contexts: colonial schooling of moral didacticism, anticolonial moral pedagogy, Nehruvian nation-building narratives, and contemporary globalized publics. The book advances a theoretical framework—the "refusal model" of moral persuasion— and offers methodological tools for measuring persuasiveness beyond explicit ministrations: longitudinal reception analysis, policy traces, intertextual contagion, and civic repertoires. Case studies encompass selected films across Indian and regional cinemas, canonical and marginal literary texts including novels, short fiction, and poetry, performance pieces from street theatre to contemporary stage, visual art installations, and viral digital interventions. The research interrogates normative claims about what moral art should do, proposing instead what art does: creates ethical attention, cultivates shared ambiguities, and enables ethical negotiation. https://lnkd.in/dYvwWCzD
