Niall Brady shared thisExactly 19 years ago today was my first day at Salesforce but today it's time to say goodbye. I’ve been lucky enough to be part of a once-in-a-generation company and to work alongside some truly brilliant and kind people. Above all else, it was really great fun. I feel very fortunate to have been able to surf the wave all the way to the beach. A huge thank you to my wife Kathleen and daughters Alice and Kate for putting up with me over the years and supporting me when I needed it. To my Mam and Dad (my first bosses) for letting me work in the family business when I was a kid. It was a great training ground. Thanks to all the fantastic colleagues, mentors, customers and partners I’ve had the pleasure to work with. There are many legendary people at Salesforce and I have been fortunate to work directly for a lot of them. There are too many to mention but I want to thank you because I hope I learned something from all of you. I do need to mention a few people though who encouraged me and taught me endless valuable lessons in the early days - especially Clodagh O'Doherty Fiachra Ó Comhraí, Sanj Bhayro and Ciaran Shanley, who shaped how I think about sales and whose lessons I still use every day. I hope I was able to pass some of it on. To everyone who worked in my teams over the years, I am forever grateful. For now, I’m taking an extended break from tech to focus on a few personal interests and recharge. The plan is to take things as they come, just a bit of space really to enjoy life and see what evolves next. I need to ensure that I am fully rested in time for the World Cup in 2026. Now that I have more time on my hands, I look forward to catching up with people who I haven’t seen in a while. Finally, a special mention to Rachel Rachel Houlihan, who has worked alongside me for over 10 years - I wish you all the very best for the future, which I know is bright. Thank you to Michelangelo Forgione and Dawn Keaney for being great teammates. You will no longer need to suffer my tangential analogies. That’s all Folks!

In July, I graduated magna cum laude from KU Leuven in Belgium with an MSc in Business Economics. My thesis explored how agentic AI in process automation is changing managerial roles, skills and decision-making. I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned and the people who have supported me along the way. Excited to see what this year in Dublin will bring! 🇮🇪

A judging panel works a lot like an auditor. It doesn't take the claim, it wants the proof behind it. Ireland's strongest emerging tech companies put their proof up this year. Ours held. Disseqt AI is built out of Ireland, with operations in the UK and R&D in Bengaluru. We built the Assurance Layer for Enterprise AI Operations: one platform for IT teams to test and detect, protect and enforce, and prove and comply, across the full life of an AI agent, mapped to rules like the EU AI Act and ISO 42001. That's the case I get to make again at the global final at Web Summit in Lisbon this November, against innovators from 20 other countries. It’s an exciting time to be joining the division. The legal and regulatory landscape is evolving rapidly, with AI, advanced analytics and new digital capabilities transforming how legal professionals work, make decisions and deliver value. Wolters Kluwer has an incredible combination of deep domain expertise, trusted content and increasingly powerful AI-enabled solutions. The opportunity now is to help accelerate that momentum ensuring our go-to-market strategy, operations, data and commercial execution evolve alongside our products and the needs of our customers. In my new role, I’ll be focused on building and scaling the Revenue Operations capabilities that help us turn that opportunity into sustainable growth bringing greater alignment across Sales, Marketing, Service and the wider business, strengthening how we plan and execute, and using data and insight to make better commercial decisions. Niall Brady liked thisNiall Brady liked thisAfter almost 21 incredible years with Salesforce in San Francisco , this week marks the beginning of a very special new chapter for my family and me as we relocate home to Ireland. I joined Salesforce back in 2005, and looking back, what stands out most are the people and relationships built along the way. I’ve had the privilege of working with exceptional colleagues, leaders, customers, and friends through periods of enormous growth, change, and innovation. While there have been many professional milestones over the years, it’s the teamwork, collaboration, mentorship, shared experiences, and yes, plenty of laughs along the way, that I’ll value most. There are far too many people to thank individually, but you know who you are. Thank you for the support, trust, friendship, and memories over the years. As I start my new role as Director of Solution Engineering for the Enterprise Ireland & UK Healthcare and Life Sciences team, I’m excited for the opportunity ahead and grateful to the EMEA leadership team for helping make this move possible. Returning home to Ireland with my family makes this moment even more meaningful, and I’m genuinely excited for what comes next. Here’s to the next chapter.

Our son Finn Owen Twomey joined the family May 12th 👶🏻✨ It’s been a long and difficult journey to get here so for now we enjoy all the snuggles and cuddles 🥰 Jack is over the moon go be promoted to big brother and he is even the one to come up with the name! Fin means the end in French and our family is now complete with our little Finn! ❤️
