False delivery claims, zero follow-up, and no accountability
Communication was fine until my bike reached the DSV depot in Mechelen. From that point onward, the entire delivery process became completely unacceptable.
A delivery appointment was confirmed, but nobody showed up. No call, no explanation, and no follow-up.
During the following two weeks, I contacted the VanSprint service desk several times by email. Despite the seriousness of the situation, I received no meaningful response and no solution.
The week after that, I received three separate messages stating that my bike would be delivered. Every single time, the delivery failed. The tracking system then showed misleading excuses such as “not delivered” or “refused by receiver.” I never refused any delivery.
The final incident was the worst. A delivery van stopped directly in front of my house. I saw the driver check inside the van and then drive away without even attempting to ring the doorbell. At exactly the same time, I received a notification claiming that the delivery had been refused by the receiver. That statement was simply false.
What is most disturbing is VanSprint’s complete lack of ownership. They do not appear to take the issue seriously, provide proper follow-up, or challenge DSV’s clearly unreliable delivery reporting. Instead, the customer is left chasing both companies while receiving incorrect status updates.
Based on this experience, I have lost all trust in both VanSprint and DSV. Their service has been unreliable, misleading, and completely unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from VanSprint while they continue to use DSV for deliveries.
