I ordered brake pads and tyre from Cowboy on 15/07/25.
No communication regarding the order was ever received despite emails reminding them. I cancelled the order too late to get a refund from Paypal. They owe me £62 and are stonewalling on the refund. I would not recommend

Kind associate, explained everything in detail, reassured, that the delivery times have been resolved!

Literally worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. Only way to contact them is through the app where you're sent in endless loops. Last year i had to wait 8 months for a new battery replacement, now this year it's been 8 months waiting for some components and a repair as well. Been holding me on the line for first 6 months telling me it would be next month every time. Now for the last 2 months they don't even respond to my messages and ticket anymore. Starting to feel like a scam. DONT BUY A COWBOY! You've been warned.

Their bikes are unreliable. I’ve had one for a few years and had the battery, motor, and front fork fail. If you live in the UK but not London there is nowhere to get it repaired. They took €220 of my money to send me a replacement motor but never sent it to me. I asked where it was and they said it’s out of stock, but didn’t tell me that when I placed the order. They typically take a few days or a week or so to reply to customer service messages. There’s no phone number. The AI assistant is completely hopeless. I’m sure they have a decent following in Europe but do not but their bikes in UK.

Very happy that I finally got my cross and the rides are indeed fantastic. But you kept me waiting for more than 2 years without any news, nor possibility to get in
Contact with you. That is bitter.

Do not buy from Cowboy.
I ordered an electric bike from Cowboy in 2023 (Order #201856), together with Cowboy Care costing £240. After waiting approximately six months without receiving the bike, I cancelled the order and received a refund.
Despite never delivering the bike, Cowboy has continued trying to charge my credit card £240 every year to renew Cowboy Care. I complained when this first happened, but Cowboy ignored me. They did not even respond when my bank contacted them about the disputed payment. My bank refunded me, yet Cowboy has again just attempted to take another £240.
This has been going on for years. There was never a bike for Cowboy Care to cover, and Cowboy has repeatedly failed to cancel the supposed subscription or engage with either me or my bank.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cowboy. Their customer service has been nonexistent, and I would strongly advise others not to buy from them. If you have previously ordered from Cowboy, check your bank and credit-card statements carefully for recurring Cowboy Care charges.

I generally like my Cowboy bike, but I’m giving it 3 stars because of two disappointing issues.
I bought the bike about a year ago (or slightly less), and after just one month of use, the paint on the handlebars started peeling off. I’m very careful with the bike, always park it responsibly, and I don’t put an extreme number of kilometers on it. For such an expensive bike, I was honestly surprised and disappointed by the poor durability of the handlebar paint. It made the overall quality feel much cheaper than expected.
Another frustration is the lack of available maintenance appointments. I check regularly, but there never seem to be any available service slots or nearby locations. I’d like to keep my bike in good condition and follow the recommended maintenance schedule, but it has been impossible to book an annual service.
If someone from Cowboy could help me understand how to schedule a yearly maintenance appointment, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.

I had to wait 5 months (!!!) to tell me that the bike I ordered is not available in the colour that I ordered. Than they tried to sell me the female version of the bike without telling me. Customer service was absolutely terrible. The worst I have seen in my life. They told me they would call me and didn't call me in the end.. Twice...

Fast response and immediate sollution was given for my problem.

Customer service is so slow, it is just beyond anything I can describe. I've been chatting with presumably one person for over 3 weeks now to help me find a service center to do maintenance and fix my bike, but 1) all the service shops are fully booked for the foreseeable future, 2) the person from customer service answers every 3-4 days (seriously?) Now I am left with a bike I need to service but it's simply not possible. Until it was working properly, it was a great bike but honestly I would not recommend anyone to buy a Cowboy bike. Not only I waited almost a year for them to send it to me, but now also any repair or contact with their team is almost impossible. Go and find another ebike with good customer service, seriously it's super important.

Very disappointing experience. I have been waiting for more than a month for a replacement of my rear tyre. The lack of communication and the long delay have been extremely frustrating. I expected much better service from a brand like Cowboy, which positions itself as a professional and customer-focused company.

Its been almost 9000km and I never got problems with the bike.
Only a few flat tires.

I am incredibly frustrated by Cowboy’s complete lack of customer support.
My Cowboy Cruiser is only nine months old and has now stopped working entirely. When I first reported the issue, Cowboy claimed that an online diagnostic showed no problem, effectively dismissing what I was experiencing.
The bike has since become completely unusable. I have followed up daily for more than a week without receiving any meaningful response, support or path towards a resolution. This follows multiple chats over more than a month, all of which have simply gone nowhere.
What exactly is a customer supposed to do when a nine-month-old bike stops working and the manufacturer will not respond?
I have used Cowboy bikes for more than four years, and this is my second one. I was previously a loyal customer, but I now deeply regret choosing Cowboy again.

Update : so as you can see, cowboy replied to my comment and promised me to look into it. Unfortunately still no answer back from them … reaching almost 3 weeks of radio silence again before getting an answer
sent my bike in for a frame repair in April 2026. About a month later, I received an email saying that the repair was taking a little longer than expected. Since that email, I’ve heard absolutely nothing.
I’ve tried contacting customer service several times, but either I receive no response or I get the same generic message saying that my case has been marked as a “high priority,” but that they don’t have any further information at the moment.
What concerns me most is that I currently have no idea where my bike actually is or what is happening with it. It has now been several months, and I haven’t received any meaningful update about the repair or the location of my bike.

Very poor communication exclusively from AI, even if you send an email. Useless.
Update on your answer: congratulation on your AI reply.
