Do not buy from this company if you are unsure on the item and live in the UK. I had to return an item and had to pay roughly 25% in import and customs fees along with £35 in postal insurance.

Warranty claim still unresolved – company keeps sending unusable return labels

I purchased a 14K Gold Pavé Cubic Zirconia Round Ring from TOV Essentials on 20 March 2026. Less than two months later, on 15 May 2026, a stone fell out of the ring while it was still under warranty.

I contacted customer service immediately and chose the option they offered: returning the defective ring and receiving a new identical replacement.

Unfortunately, the return process has been extremely frustrating and remains unresolved.

I live in Germany. I clearly explained from the beginning that the ring was given to me as a gift by a friend who lives in the Netherlands, but that I am the person who has the defective ring and needs to send it back from Germany.

Despite this, TOV Essentials has repeatedly failed to provide a return solution that works from Germany.

I have received several DHL and DPD QR codes/labels. I visited multiple parcel shops in Germany, including three DHL locations and one DPD location. Every time, the QR code was scanned and rejected as invalid.

After many emails and weeks of failed attempts, TOV Essentials has now sent me another return label — but this label appears to be for a shipment from the Netherlands to their facility in the Netherlands. This still does not solve my problem, because I need to return the ring from Germany.

It has now been two months since my first contact regarding this issue, and the situation remains unresolved. This delay is completely unreasonable for a simple warranty claim.

At this point, the issue is not the defect itself anymore, but the way the warranty claim is being handled. I have spent weeks trying to cooperate, visited several parcel shops, explained the situation repeatedly, and still have no usable return method.

A warranty claim should not require this much time, stress and effort from the customer.

I would still like to exchange the ring for a new identical item, but TOV Essentials needs to provide a return label that is actually valid from Germany or offer another practical solution, such as reimbursing my shipping costs if I send the ring myself.

Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend TOV Essentials if you are located outside the Netherlands and need reliable after-sales support or warranty service.

I bought one rings in April as a birthday gift for my friend, and she absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, just two months later, one of the stones fell out.

She contacted the customer service, but the QR code for returning the item has failed four different times. Every email response comes from a different person who doesn't seem to have read the previous messages or understand the situation.

We are both extremely frustrated. It's very disappointing that such a simple logistics issue still hasn't been resolved. We are still waiting for a proper solution and hope someone from the team will finally take ownership of this case.

Poor quality and even worse customer service! They try to break European Consumer laws. I have purchased many items because I received expensive earrings which I ended up changing to other items.

One of the item: The beaded ring broke THIRD time and then I said I want refund. First two times they replaced the ring with new one. First their response was that they won’t anymore replace the ring because they claim it is my fault. How it can be my fault that same ring breaks THREE times under 6 month period?

After many emails they finally agreed to refund. I said I only take money - not voucher after this service. Still having process with them.

I also checked my emails noticing that I haven't even got real receipts from my payments which shows the company's address or even the VAT number. I googled the address in their website and they are not listed in google business. In the same address is the media agency 050 media though. Feels very shady. I now requested to have real receipts of all my orders. let see what they respond back.

Many times when you try to call them, they hung up.

Moreover also other items from them are so thin made that you could easily bend them. Stay away and buy your gold jewelry from other places. They only have nice designs and unrealistic pictures. If you watch for instance earrings of 10mm in the picture can be much thicker looking 13mm earrings.

I purchased two 14k gold bracelets from Tov Essentials. I was hesitant at first, but the company had good reviews, so I decided to place an order.

The bracelets were beautiful, but unfortunately one arrived with discoloration and the other came undone twice within the first 30 minutes of wearing it. Because of these issues, I decided to return both items for a refund. I did not want replacements.

I packed both bracelets in the same return package and sent them back together. To my surprise, Tov Essentials later claimed that they had only received one bracelet. This is simply not true. I am 100% certain that both bracelets were included in the package, and I even have a witness—my partner—who saw me pack them.

I have repeatedly disputed their claim, but the only response I received was that two employees had checked the return and confirmed that only one bracelet was present. I asked for evidence, such as photographs or documentation from when the package was opened, but they were unable to provide any.

As a result, I have only been refunded for one bracelet and have effectively paid for an item that I no longer have. Considering that both bracelets were made of gold, this is a significant amount of money.

To make matters worse, I found the communication unhelpful and dismissive. Most of the responses felt like generic templates rather than genuine attempts to investigate the issue or resolve the dispute.

I have now filed a claim through my credit card provider, but the overall experience has been extremely disappointing.

My conclusion: avoid Tov Essentials at all costs. Their jewelry may look beautiful, but if something goes wrong, do not expect meaningful support. If you do decide to order from them and later need to make a return, make sure to record yourself packing the package so that you have proof of exactly what was sent.

I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed by this experience and genuinely feel as though I have been cheated.

The ring arrived the day after i ordered. I was super shocked on how fast the delivery was! I just wanted to see how the ring would look on my hand and ended loving it! For a 14k gold with such amazing prize it was so worth it! This will be my wedding band for my upcoming wedding this August ❤️

I purchased three rings from this website and returned one of them, worth €261.80.

The company confirmed receipt of the returned item, but instead of refunding me to my original payment method (credit card), they issued a store credit via email.

I immediately contacted them to state that I did NOT agree to store credit and that I expect a refund back to my credit card. Their response was that I supposedly selected store credit during the return process. This is incorrect. I did not select this option.

When I asked for proof or documentation showing that I had chosen store credit, they were unable to provide any evidence. They also refused to change the refund method.

This means they are effectively keeping customers’ money within their own system instead of issuing proper refunds to the original payment method.

Based on my experience, this appears to be a misleading and customer-unfriendly return practice.

I strongly advise others to be very careful when ordering from this website

Earrings arrived broken upon delivery. I was then made to pay to ship them back and was not given a pre-paid label nor a refund for the cost of shipping.

Replacement pair was only sent out after the broken pair had been received, making the entire process a nearly 4 week matter.

I asked for it to be labelled as a replacement so I would not be charged import tax/delivery duties twice, this was not done and I have been billed twice.

Clasp is very weak on the hoop, and easily misaligns, changing the shape of the hoop.

I asked for clarification on when a replacement pair would be sent and was told by TOV I’d have to wait until the broken pair was revived and processed by them before a replacement would be shipped.

Claims to have not heard from me, when I was contacting and initiating conversations with TOV throughout this process are simply untrue.

Very disappointing.
