Being very inexperienced at running a website, I have found WordPress to be very user friendly. We are two years in and I honestly am so used to WordPress and it's layout, format that I don't think I could achieve what I have without it.

Nick was fantastic! Addressed prepared questions in great detail, while offering the many other design options WP has.
I definitely will reach out to Nick again when needed prior to launch and after.

The support given by Ezequiel Vonderbecke was extremely helpful and he was able to explain everything to me so I could understand. He walked me though my problem step by step. He is a great at providing support with Wordpress.

marketing, sales pitches and pushing to buy more from them

The blog that I have with them, from the very star and since then continuously for many, many years, is not their free plan, but the payable Personal plan.

And they cannot know that there is absolutely no commercial content of any sorts in my blog. Unless their algorithms and AI robots are incredibly dumb.

Yet, they keep bombarding me with offers to upgrade, to purchase plugins, to do this and to do that by paying them more money.

What they are doing is fishing with a net…

In my case, it has become a harassment.

It is very disappointing, considering that have paid a lot of money to them, for many, many years, for a blog which has never been created nor ever used for any pecuniary purposes.

I guess they are also fishing with a rod. And they think that they have hooked me.

The most dishonest way they are trying to push me into buying something that iIdo not need at all, is by distorting my stats !! So that I pay them more, if I want to even see them ! While my blog has ZERO commercial content.

Shame.

When I opened the finished design, I felt deeply pleased and thankful. They captured the look, the warmth, and the gentle feel I had longed for — and I love it very much. One of our customers registered two domains through WordPress.com, and they’ve suddenly disappeared from the Domains tab for no apparent reason. If we try to access them through the “Manage” link on the invoice, we just get a 500 error.

This should be a pretty straightforward issue for their support team to fix… if only they would actually respond.

I’ve contacted them twice. Both times, it took around 24 hours to get a generic response that completely ignored the actual issue. Even worse, they close the ticket immediately after replying, so I can’t even respond to clarify the problem.

At this point, I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with ICANN.

I needed to rebuild my website after years of "adapting" it, and chose to use the AI within Wordpress to do that.

The videos imply that you can give your instructions, and minutes later you get a nearly perfect website.

That wasn't really my experience!

The AI created what I wanted some of the time, and then managed to change it around some of the time. And the rest of the time, it was frustrating with it going around in circles.

However, with help from support, and also using Claude, and my intuition with Wordpress, I was able to build my own website, which looks great, and which I am happy with, within a few evenings.

Which frankly is amazing, when you consider how it used to be with websites.

I tried to make my own page, but I didn't want to start from scratch, so I tried AI prompt. I tought it was just a suggestion but it already appeared on my page. It included my contant information, that AI published without my permission. I only linked instagram but it also showed my email without letting me know. Edit: I tried to delete it multiple times, it's finally gone after multiple days.

08/21/2026, second onboarding session, Nick quickly identified the errors I made in the new page I created (incorrect post page and cliches prevented connecting new page from the original home page). He explained the errors thoroughly and made corrections accordingly.

He also showed me how to use Button style link and to use different color variations to prompt the website visitor's attention. In addition, I also learned to link a word document to a sentence within the button style link.

We cleared all the huddles mentioned above with 15 minutes. With 2 -15 minutes onboarding sessions (last one was 4 days ago), I have extended my website from original 1 only to 4 functional pages now.

Ashleigh is an exceptional individual. She provided excellent answers to all my questions and actively listened to my input. Overall, I was very pleased with our conversation, and we established a clear plan of action regarding what I need to accomplish.

Zohair was everything I could have asked for in a Guide to get on board. I am an old gal, what they used to call a Secretary, and I have NO knowledge of how websites work behind the scenes. I had thought that I had accomplished getting the site moved completely to WordPress but found out that cannot be done without authorization info that's been gone for years (probably at least a decade).
Zohair was a steady hand throughout. He saw I was panicking and was patient and supportive, helping me to maintain my sanity as we moved through the call. He ended up giving me complete confidence that, together, we will get this successfully accomplished.... something I really needed desperately at this point. Also, he has agreed to continue working with me, a gift rarely given anymore in current support systems.
He has followed up with everything I need - a recap of our meeting, my forward action, and how to get back in touch with him.
In today's world with AI, bots, chat, and other more obtuse options for help, Zohair was like an unexpected miracle! For me, he is making ALL the difference, and I am grateful with my whole heart and being.
I hope that WordPress reads this and understands what a huge asset Zohair is to the company, not to mention the incredible difference he makes for his clients.

Broadly I’ve found the Onboarding team and service incredibly helpful. For me as an idiot tech person with little finesse this has meant I’ve actually learnt things from staff about how to use the Dashboard.

More specifically I’ve enjoyed working with Nick who has helped make some significant additions to my website which weren’t automatically installed on building. Very helpful!!

I’d say Nick has made intuitive changes supporting my thoughts to get the website doing thing which are specific to how I want to personally do things like involve visitors in my second book development. This has involved categorising blogs and developing journals.

I’m sure I’ll need this service again and I’m feeling much more confident knowing Onboarding is there. Well done.

Yanno was so great! Very professional and i love my website.

Kinda complicated when you don't know website jargon. So intuitively complicated somewhat. But good to use the AI then it goes together fairly quickly.

No bugs or technical issues so far. I still have a good bit left to do. But overall it’s been a pleasant experience. It definitely gets easier the more time you spend with the platform. Great job Word Press!

overall are good

I've been using WordPress for 15 years. They have good designs and packages. If you don't want to spend the money, you can use it for free with their name in your domain address. My biggest gripe with them is their line spacing which can drive you nuts. It is NOT WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get).

Great website builder! Thank you for building my website for me - the process of submitting the forms to the build of the website was so fast and I'm so happy with what's been completed. Also very easy to edit as things change - thank you guys!

The customer support is top notch and honestly their products are smooth and and all intergrate very well from the wordpress app, to the jet pack app, to the desktop version , including analytics and seo . I would absolutely 10/10 would recommend to manage your business website here .

Website development process is logical and easy to understand for a novice. Helpful customer service assistance.
