Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 204 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with customer service, often encountering unhelpful bot responses and copy-paste answers when trying to resolve issues like lost account access or changing email addresses. Reviewers also reported problems with the product, including buggy, unoptimized games and launchers that frequently logged them out or prevented them from playing titles purchased elsewhere. The website itself was often problematic, failing to process support requests or hindering account creation. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with support agents who successfully helped them regain account access or change email details, describing the process as easy and stress-free.

**1 Star

**1 Star – Extremely disappointing customer support**

I have been unable to play **The Division 2** for months because my character became permanently stuck in a non-playable area. Every time I log in, the game loads into the exact same location, leaving me unable to do anything except exit the game. I even provided Ubisoft with a video demonstrating the issue and submitted a gameplay bug report.

I first reported this problem in **April**, and after months of waiting, the issue still has not been resolved. During this time, the game has received updates, but my account remains completely unusable.

What is even more frustrating is the way customer support has handled the case. Every response has essentially been the same: *"We are investigating the issue, but we have no timeframe."* There have been no meaningful updates, no workaround, no estimated resolution date, and no real communication about the progress of the investigation.

As a paying customer, I find it unacceptable to be locked out of a game I purchased for several months while receiving only generic responses. I have been patient, followed every instruction given by support, and waited for a solution that never came.

At this point, if Ubisoft cannot resolve such a game-breaking issue within a reasonable timeframe, they should offer affected customers a refund instead of asking them to wait indefinitely.

I expected much better customer service from a company of Ubisoft's size. Unfortunately, this experience has completely undermined my confidence in their support.

Support isn't helping and isn't responding.

I contacted Ubisoft Support to request a change of the email address on my account because I no longer have access to it.

I gathered and provided everything they could possibly need to verify that I am the account owner: purchase history, receipts, linked accounts, games, and other account information.

The first time, I only received what appeared to be an automated response insisting that I verify the request through the very email address I had already explained I no longer had access to. After that exchange, my case was simply closed, and I was told to read an article and submit a new ticket under a different category.

I followed those instructions. I opened a new support ticket, carefully explained my situation again, attached receipts and all the requested evidence, and waited for a response. I never received one. My request was simply ignored.

Unfortunately, I cannot change my password or update any account information without access to my old email address. Meanwhile, my account continues to be accessed by someone else, and I have no way to properly secure it.

Based on my experience, Ubisoft Support is the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend buying Ubisoft games or relying on them if you ever have an account issue. If something happens to your account, do not expect meaningful help from their support.

As a result of this experience, I have made my decision: I will never buy another Ubisoft game again.

Ubisoft is a mediocre mixed company…

Ubisoft is a mediocre mixed company that gets compared to big multibillionaire money printing, gambling pushing, economy destroying, game breaking patches maker-- steam. Ubisoft was one day a good company now its mediocre. And people hate on even when they patch up games, remaster games anything. The fake hate is so cringe. Do you own your steam virtual games? hell no you dont. but thats okay, but not ubisoft. Before you think im biased i added 3 stars because they are not perfect. Their customer service is also mediocre.

Account lock out

I am completely locked out of my account because Ubisoft's automated emails are blocked at the server level by my German email provider. Even adding the addresses to my whitelist changed nothing.

The worst part? I can actually access my account dashboard via my linked Steam account. But the system is so poorly designed that I cannot change my email address, add a phone number, or activate 2FA because every single action requires a verification code sent to the broken email address. To top it off, trying to fix this led to a "temporary block" due to too many attempts, and the support page frequently crashes with errors when trying to submit a ticket.

It’s a complete Catch-22. If a verified Steam login isn't enough to let a user update their contact info when their email host fails, your security system is fundamentally broken. Fix your support pipeline.

Paid games 100+$ not to be able to play them because their cybersecurity is so trash that my account got stolen. So I’m mad but I contact them for MULTIPLE DAYS through discord, emails their website too. It’s been a week and still not a single help. I pray that this company actually closes. Worst experience of my life overall feels like I got scammed. I paid 100$+ for nothing. Great Ubisoft.

Got ubisoft+

Got ubisoft+
Spent as much time debugging as playing actual games. Games stop, I assume because my internet cut out for a second ruining the experience.
No I'm trying to cancel the subscription but the interface crashed so I can't even do that.
In general a broken product that preforms like an MVP rather than a well made software service.

I purchased Anno 1800 dlc from steam and since my old ubisoft account was still linked, they were put on that account. I tried asking them to switch the dlc over to my new account, verified my emails of both accounts, and they keep saying we need verification and they are sending verification emails that never show up. I cant even change the password of the other ubisoft account I forgot as the email it says is coming to change it never does.

Never buying from them again and recommending everyone else not to either.

horrible client

glitchiest and buggiest client for pc ever created. Error 028 shows up whenever it wants and after fixing it, it might just return before you can even start the game (and that is one glitch out of about 10 you face each time trying to do anything)

Horrible UX, long time Ubisoft customer

Can not use my ubisoft account or even submit a ticket. After a few months of not playing any Ubi's game, I recently purchased a DLC for one of the AC series of games only to receive a message that my account is suspended. Given the age of scammers, I could understand if someone would try to get into my account. and they would suspend it. However, I haven't received any emails recently about the suspension. And now we get to the best part, after I tried to submit a ticket via official Ubisoft's page Contact Us section, after filling in every piece of information I got "There was an issue submitting your case". Is this some kind of a joke in 2026? So basically, all games that I have payed for on my Steam acc are now just a waste of money?

Hacked, Ubisoft WONT help

My account with Ubisoft is over 10 years old at this point. My account was stolen and the email address changed. Ubisoft refuses to help me provide them with the evidence they need to give me back control because they can't send a reset verification email, to an email address my Dad set up for me twenty years ago when I was a kid so when that was also hacked the email company deleted it as I was not the account holder. I get the same template response saying "sorry" over and over with no help.

Retarded Company

Let me just start of by saying I’ve given a 1* review because that’s the lowest I can give it. Ubisoft account is set up on an email I can no longer access. Turns out if that’s the case it’s impossible to change it back because the geniuses they have employed at Ubisoft say “no worries we’ll send you an email to help you change your email” and guess what. It’s sent to the email I’ve told them over 15 times I don’t have access to. How clever is that! And now despite it working for every game I play. The second I load siege up my mic just no longer works. It says chat communication settings for Xbox need changing in order to access game chat. Well guess what. Everything is set for me to have game chat. So I think great let’s go onto Ubisoft Connect Privacy in settings and see if I can change it there. Makes me sign into this and sign into that and change this password and confirm that I’m a human and confirm my phone number which took a good 20 minutes of going back and forth for it to then make me wait 10 minutes for it to load for it to then say that this site is no longer available. Long story short, Ubisoft has clearly not a single employee with enough brain cells to knock together. Their websites all don’t work all the time and Rainbow Six Siege is absolutely shite and makes me angry and depressed before I’ve even played a game yet. Peace

First of all I do not understand why a log in is always necessary even for offline games like assassins creed, next thing is that whenever I try to log in it always says that my account is logged in from a different email and password despite me resetting it multiple times and clicking on remember me button. I always had to put in my username and password each time I have access the game. This morning it just suspended me because of "too many failed attempts" I am extremely pissed and upset with this shitty system.
