I just bought the perfume genie 3, thinking I could move it from room to room or place on a tray on my coffee table, but this one does not run on a charge it needs to be plugged in. This limits placem... See more

Poor Service at Rituals, Churchill Square Brighton
I visited Rituals in Churchill Square Brighton on 25th May as I wanted to use my Love to Shop voucher towards buying something.
Rituals rejected my Love to Shop voucher even though they are under the list of retailers where you can use the gift card.
I submitted a complaint with Rituals, one month later, still unable to give me an explanation or an outcome to prevent this from happening again.
Rituals didn't take me seriously and I want to make other customers aware that it is possible that they will reject your Love to Shop Gift Card when trying to use it in Rituals. The experience was not great, not to mention embarrassing. I am not convinced Rituals even care about their customers or take complaints seriously and feel everyone should be aware of this.
Poor service and over priced
I would leave a 0 star rating if I could. The app is terrible, extremely slow its ridiculous. I tried to use the website but it kept taking me to the app. When it finally allowed me to stay on the website all the items I had added to my cart had altered meaning the free gift, the beach bag, I thought I was getting did not arrive, as I did not realise it had altered the items. Customer Services weren't too bothered. I thought I'd treat myself but it is not just worth the frustration!
Avoid This Wretched Company
Ethical company my foot. One of the most disgusting and awful companies ever. Twice in two years they have not given me my birthday gift. Why - apparently I didn't tick a box to sign up to a newsletter. I was told instore I would get a free gift for my birthday if I was a member of My Rituals which I am. Why the sudden change? The birthday gift would have been something minimal anyway but still. An absolute scam of a company. Spent over £60 in store. I'm taking the whole lot back. Absolutely avoid this cowboy company. Had a chat on customer service with them but the attitude was awful. It was like they actually didn't care. Well bye bye from me.
LOVE rituals!!
LOVE rituals!!! Smells are amazing, service is great and the delivery is fast. Don't know why so many bad reviews! They are fantastic.

I had an outstanding experience at the Rituals store on Oxford Street. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a genuine smile and made to feel welcome. The team were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without ever being pushy.
The store itself was beautifully presented, creating a calm and luxurious atmosphere, but it was the warmth and professionalism of Precious and Rebecca that made my visit so memorable. It's rare to receive service of this standard these days, and they are a real credit to Rituals.
Thank you to the Oxford Street team for such a wonderful shopping experience. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for exceptional customer service.
Product never received.
I bought two lovely small gift sets from the online shop, but they never arrived. The confirmation email never arrived either. I assumed the transaction had failed and did not have time to repeat it or try another card later, so I moved on.
However, I realised upon getting the credit card bill that I had indeed been charged. I was offered a 15% discount as compensation for future purchases, but if I had not been diligent in checking my credit card receipt, this issue would never have been corrected.
I am issuing two stars as they are now diligently resolving the issue, but it is the first time I have been charged by a merchant, and neither the confirmation email nor the product arrived. It is not a good service.
Jen was awesome
Jen, at the Wimbledon store, was a delight to deal with on the two occasions I've been to the store. She was very friendly, informative and engaging
Misleading information about free gift and unhelpful customer service.
I ordered some Rituals products and was offered a free gift. I selected the 'Bath and Shower' Homme gift. However, when the parcel arrived the free gift was not 'Bath and Shower' products but face cream, and Caffeine shampoo which is not suitable. I find it very annoying that Rituals can offer free gifts by enticing the customer into spending more but then they do not receive the free gift advertised. I have been conversing with customer services who have been completely unhelpful in this matter, continually repeating that I have received the free gift I selected. However, the description of the free gift was completely misleading and customer service refused to acknowledge this. Shocking that a company whose products are so expensive can get away with this. I notice there are many 1* reviews for Rituals.
Bad Customer Service
I've always loved Rituals and have happily used their Shower Foam for 8 years. I bought the limited edition Sheshen one and it is not at all like the others. It doesn't make any foam and you need loads of it to use. Customer service said that it should be like that. They make it light for Summer. They should mention that in the description. So I normally like the products but the Customer Service is very bad. I bought 2 to get the free bag and thought they would offer for me to return one but they just thanked me for my feedback

My sister bought this product in Germany, Hamburg. About two weeks ago. The product looks spoiled, the texture is not the same as before.
Website faulty - poor service
Website faulty:
1) Didnt work i Firefox so had to switch to Chrome,
2) Tried ordering, but got an error during payment,
3) Ordered again, went through,
4) Got TWO confirmations, så the first order DID go through.
5) Couldt cancel first order.
6) Support couldn't cancel order either (5 min. after 2. order).
= So I had to use time and money returning the one product. Will never order again.
Cotton Blossom Home Perfume
I purchased the "Cotton Blossom" home perfume based on a recommendation from an Instagram influencer, and it turned out to be a disaster. We simply couldn't stand the smell, and it's too expensive to throw away. Now, we only use it when we're leaving the house so we don't have to smell it ourselves.
I would recommend trying it in a store before purchasing, as this fragrance is definitely not for everyone.

I would give 0 stars if that were possible.
My experience working for Rituals was one of the most disappointing and distressing experiences of my professional life. Throughout my employment, I raised serious concerns regarding my safety and wellbeing, including incidents involving harassment and inappropriate behaviour. Rather than feeling supported, I felt ignored, dismissed, and ultimately treated as though my concerns did not matter.
What made this especially difficult was that management was aware that I was going through an exceptionally challenging period in my personal life. Instead of receiving understanding or support, I felt isolated, targeted, and subjected to a workplace culture that left me feeling completely unsupported.
The company’s values speak about care, wellbeing, and treating people with respect. Unfortunately, my personal experience did not reflect those values. I found a significant disconnect between the image presented publicly and how concerns were handled when they were raised internally.
I cannot recommend Rituals as an employer based on my experience. I left feeling deeply let down by a company that I had hoped would live up to the standards it promotes.
Rituals will remind you this “you don’t matter” especially from the “team” or “family” as they called it, not a nice wee little family at all.
I had such a lovely experience
I had such a lovely experience at the Rituals store in Gunwharf Quays thanks to Nicole. She was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked in and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. Her product knowledge is outstanding, and she guided me through the ranges with genuine enthusiasm and care. I left with a product I absolutely love. Nicole is a credit to the store — thank you for making my visit so enjoyable.
Great service at Rituals Bury
I visited the Rituals store in Bury today and was served by Lois [manager]. Lois was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all products. I have visited a few times since it opened earlier this year and I always leave smiling after being looked after, and of course I bought a few gorgeous items - even better when discounts are on [the smells are divine].
All staff at the store are genuinely welcoming, thank you for a lovely experience. See you soon x
50+ Sunscreen stick
Went to Rituals store in Wembley, and got a 50+ spf stick for my Mallorca holiday.
It lasted less than 2 days!!! for 19£ - it is disappointing and a huge rip off. Not to mention I did burn a little so unsure what the stick contains..
If it's a luxury brand it should be luxury quality.
Minimum would be a refund, but reading these other reviews I feel I will get nothing, max an apology in writing that does nothing for me.
If I could give 0 I would
If I could give 0 I would! Ordered a large gift and an incorrect order arrived. Terrible customer service. Refusing to fulfil order. I have to return and wait 14 days before ordering again… asking me to pay for another order even though I haven’t had the first one! absolute shambles of a service. Will not be ordering ever again.
Tone deaf, no understanding of customer service
Extremely disappointing experience from both an order fulfilment and customer service perspective.
I ordered a birthday gift for my mother, paying extra for gift wrapping and a personalised message. The problems began when I was provided with a collection locker that was completely empty, wasting both time and money. An item then became unavailable, causing further delays and meaning I was unable to give the intended gift on time.
Most frustratingly, despite being explicitly assured that the replacement order would include the gift wrapping and personalised message I had paid for, neither was provided. The products arrived simply placed in a bag with the prices still visible, completely defeating the purpose of ordering a prepared gift.
What made the experience worse was the customer service response. It took multiple emails before anyone appeared to fully acknowledge the situation. No explanation was ever provided for how these errors occurred, there was little recognition of the inconvenience caused, and several responses felt generic and tone-deaf given the context. I repeatedly had to explain the issue and push for it to be properly addressed.
While the gift wrap and message charges were eventually refunded and a goodwill gesture was offered, this only came after significant effort on my part. For a brand that positions itself as premium and gift-focused, I expected a much higher standard of service and communication.

Abaolutely disgraceful customer service. I will never buy from this company again.
Delayed Order and Poor Customer Service from Rituals
I placed my order to the value of £112 on Wednesday 27th May, at which time I was advised that delivery would take between 3–5 working days. On 28th May, I received an email from Evri confirming they had received my parcel and that it would be delivered to my chosen drop-off point within 24 hours.
However, as of Wednesday 3rd June—one week after placing the order—I had still not received my delivery. I contacted the customer service team and spoke with a representative who was unable to provide any clear information on the whereabouts of my order, stating only that it might arrive by the end of the week or possibly the following week. This level of uncertainty is extremely disappointing.
I requested a refund due to the delay, but this was refused. I also asked for the representative to investigate the issue and call me back with an update. Unfortunately, I have received no follow-up communication, either by phone or email.
At this point, I feel I have exhausted all reasonable options. I am extremely dissatisfied with both the delay and the lack of communication and accountability from Rituals. This experience has left me very disappointed, and as a result, I will not be ordering from Rituals again.
I have emailed Rituals with my formal compliant and waiting for a reponse.
