Excellent used cell phones and service. Bought my last 3 cells here and trade in worked great too. Also, 3 year guarantee for €3,50, excellent.
Pre-owned price tag, brand-new ego. Delivery on time. Played the second-hand market, won first-class tech. Rebuy.de is the Best!

Overall, my experience with reBuy was really good, although there was one part of the trade-in process that left me a little disappointed.
I traded in my iPad Pro for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and the whole process was fairly straightforward. I sent in my iPad, purchased the Galaxy Tab, and waited for reBuy to inspect my device before receiving the trade-in payment.
When arranging a trade-in, reBuy gives you the opportunity to describe the condition of your device. In my case, my iPad was absolutely flawless. No scratches, marks or signs of wear whatsoever. I'm a bit of a technology nerd and take particularly good care of my electronics. I always use screen protectors and cases, and I'm generally very cautious with how I handle my devices.
I also have my own workstation where I inspect and work on electronic devices, so I know what to look for. Before sending my iPad in, I went through it thoroughly, checking the screen and body under bright and fluorescent lighting, looking at different angles for even the slightest imperfections. I also used full-screen colour test videos to check for dead pixels and display issues. On top of that, I took plenty of photographs and videos documenting its condition before sending it off, all of which I still have as evidence.
Based on the condition I described, reBuy initially offered me approximately €1,080. However, about a week after sending it in, I received a revised offer of €1,040. Now, €40 isn't the end of the world, but I was naturally curious as to why the valuation had dropped.
When I contacted customer support, I was told that their inspection had revealed some light scratches on the display, apparently only visible under certain lighting conditions. Personally, I found this explanation rather difficult to believe, especially considering how thoroughly I'd checked the device myself. I'd specifically examined it under different lighting conditions and documented everything before sending it in.
I challenged their findings, but the response was essentially that I could either accept the revised offer or have the iPad returned. I wasn't provided with any photographs showing these alleged scratches, which I found a little frustrating. In the end, I accepted the offer because, frankly, I didn't fancy going through all that hassle over €40.
That said, I want to make it clear that the customer service staff themselves were excellent. They were friendly, professional and always responded to my questions. I really can't fault them in that respect.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra I received was also fantastic. It was advertised as being in 'excellent condition', and it genuinely was. Not a single visible scratch or mark, 100% battery health and just one charging cycle. I was extremely pleased with it, and reBuy certainly delivered on that side of the transaction.
The only reason I'm giving four stars rather than five is because I'm not entirely convinced by the trade-in inspection process. I completely understand that reBuy needs to inspect devices carefully, and rightly so. However, I couldn't help feeling that the revised valuation was perhaps less about the actual condition of my iPad and more about whether they could reduce the offer slightly without losing the sale. Of course, I can't prove that, and it may simply have been a difference in how we assessed the device, but that's the impression I was left with.
I think a little more transparency would go a long way here. If scratches are found that justify reducing an offer, particularly ones that are supposedly only visible under special lighting, providing a few photographs would help customers understand the decision.
Despite this, I would absolutely consider using reBuy again, particularly when purchasing refurbished electronics. The process was simple, the staff were great, and the tablet I received was exactly as described.
My advice to anyone trading in a device would be to take plenty of photographs and videos beforehand, and be prepared for the possibility of a slightly lower offer after inspection.
All in all, a really good experience, just with one aspect that stopped it from being a five-star review.
I had a very disappointing experience selling my smartphone. First, they lowered the buyback price, citing, among other things, that my charging cable was missing. After I objected, Rebuy admitted that the cable was actually there—but suddenly claimed it showed signs of wear.
How reliable can a quality inspection be if the reasons given change after a complaint is filed? My questions about the display evaluation were also not answered specifically.
I got the device back. However, I’ve lost trust in the evaluation process. I wouldn’t recommend this buyback service.

The item I bought was delivered quickly and was as described. I would buy from them again.

It was my first time selling a phone online. The service was impeccable and the whole process was very simple.

Phone never arrived. I am down almost 500 euros and the customer service says that the investigation might take 8 weeks, but they keep my money.
I see no other option than reporting theft to the police.

Could have been faster. Returns must be processed as quickly as possible. Otherwise, Rebuy has always been my favourite.
15 days since the product arrive date and it still hasn’t been delivered. They don’t have a customer service phone line and the mail it's just an AI that can’t solve any issue. You pay and don’t get the product, you ask and no one answers. If this is not a scam, i don’t know what is
Accurate description of the items, reasonable prices and very nice product support (3 years of warranty and others means of protection).
Battery Health by arrival about 98% , two Months later it dropped to 83%... A minute of usage takes about 1% of battery. The phone does not seem to have been refurbished!
rebuys offer to this is more work for me , no replacement of the device while they check my phone. all very inconvenient and all catered to there needs.

Scammers, I can't find any other description.
I sent a perfect smartphone (luckily I also had pictures to prove it), they claim it's defective and has a smudge on the screen (which wasn't true). The valuation went from €530 to €55. I contacted them several times, receiving evasive responses, refusing to admit what happened and refusing to send a video of the inspection process.
Stay away.
I'm adding to my review because, after several hiccups, they finally sent me the product back. In addition to the damage they caused, they sent it back to me with dents on the internal screen and marks on the back. Be very careful with this company, it's quite a scam for me.
Their support is arrogant and incompetent. It's really disappointing, because I'm a honest person and I would never have sent a damaged product knowing that Rebuy would dispute it; I'm neither stupid nor dishonest. The product had only a few hours of actual use, because it was a third phone.
