Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Easy to book and attend virtually with…
Easy to book and attend virtually with my hectic schedule. Very easy to connect with a caring professional who fit my needs extremely well. She also provided me with talk therapy choices, and I loved the doctor she recommended. I look forward to working with them both, and am grateful for the opportunity.

I feel that the counselor listens and gets me. I am looking for solutions and we are working to figure that out.

Today’s session gave me a lot to think about. I’m grateful we had the space to be honest and really hear each other. I’m hopeful about what healing could look like, but I also know rebuilding trust takes time, consistency, and actions. I’m willing to take it one step at a time. ❤️
New Ways to Provide CollaborativePsychiatric Care
I have a friend who works for Grow Therapy and I was happy to take her recommendation to seek treatment in psychiatric care which has fewer and fewer medical resources (the number of psychiatrists) in many states.
Grow therapy has changed my life in…
Grow therapy has changed my life in ways I am really grateful for. They have such a large scale of providers worldwide...with different years of experience and different skill sets that helps tailor to your needs and to your therapy. The fact that most of the providers are virtual is a GOD send/ adds flexibility to your life schedules. I would recommend Grow Therapy to anyone who wants to heal trauma or change the way they live and view life .
A great first session with Bethany
A great first session with Bethany, Welcoming and warm with professionalism. She was easy to speak with.
App reliability issue disrupting therapy sessions
The Grow app frequently stops working or resets during my therapy sessions — often several times per session. My insurance is billed for a full hour, and I pay a co-pay accordingly, but these interruptions mean I typically only get about 45 minutes of actual session time, if I'm lucky.
This raises a concern beyond inconvenience: sessions are being billed as full-length despite falling short due to technical failures on the app's end.
This is a significant problem: it disrupts the flow of therapy and undermines what should be a supportive, focused experience.
I'd ask that you:
1. Fix the stability issues causing these resets, or
2. Allow therapists to conduct sessions via Zoom or another reliable platform, and
3. Confirm whether sessions are being billed/coded accurately given the actual time delivered.
As it stands, the app is not meeting a basic requirement of the service being billed.
The Best Around!
India has been amazing. She takes the time to listen. She is super thorough at every appointment. We have seen amazing progress in our daughter since coming to Lotus. Would highly recommend.
Such a warm environment
Such a warm environment , I felt so listened to and so easy to just talk about everything! I trust my therapist . I know she really cares.
Many Options!
Grow Therapy has an excellent selection of therapists to choose from in your local area. If you choose one that doesn’t work for you, it’s easy to cancel and reschedule way in advance. They also have activities and an immediate auto coach to help any time. I’ve found a great therapist and am working towards new and exciting things.

I love this site
I love this site. The system to schedule the appointments is easy to use and convenient. The professionals that provide their services on this site are excellent, compassionate and caring.
Very warm hearted and Professional
Very warm hearted and caring in our first meeting.
Go elsewhere, it's dehumanizing at Grow.
If you select a provider, you may have a different one show up. If you need customer service help, they are RUDE and mean to you. The are only allowed to "help" you for 15 minutes. The "provider" that showed up immediately went into talking about determining what meds will help. BEFORE EVEN SPEAKING TO ME.

The chemistry with Dani and myself was great from the first meeting. I am very confident and excited to see where this journey takes me. Working with Dani has been just what I have been looking for in a therapist. She is wonderful.
Not a good fit for patients who need a supportive, compassionate provider
I would not recommend Dr. Thasanee based on my experience. This was much deeper than simply not responding to messages. I repeatedly tried to communicate with her about concerns as her patient and was left without a response for approximately a week and a half. I felt ignored and unsupported when I was actively trying to reach my provider.
When she eventually responded, I found her tone dismissive and condescending. As someone dealing with anxiety, being spoken to in a way that feels cold, dismissive, or condescending can be particularly difficult and triggering. I did not feel that my concerns were approached with the compassion or understanding I would expect from a mental-health provider.
Ultimately, I decided to transfer my care because I no longer felt comfortable continuing treatment with her. In my experience, I would not recommend this provider to someone who needs a patient, compassionate, and supportive approach, particularly someone who is sensitive to feeling dismissed or spoken down to.

Great Experience
The experience has been great from signing up to finding a therapist who I instantly connected with. The online flexible scheduling works great for my schedule. I recommend giving GROW a try. Insurance is accepted and my co-pay is minimal which is helpful and allows me to focus on my own mental health.
