Just placed an order. Before I hit submit I noticed that they precheck the option for their "Saved By" order protection that I did not want. I unchecked the box and submitted my order. I just reviewed the order email that I received and see that I was charged for their optional order protection. I contacted them to let them know this is unacceptable and will update this review when they resolve the issue. It is insane that a company tries to sneak this uneeded protection in at checkout. The data shows that these services are quite lucrative for the companies as the number of claims filed throught the providers is quite low.

I’ve tried many skin products and Beekman is the only one where my skin saw a significant difference. Their Better Aging products are great. Aside from the name promoting healthy aging (vs anti-aging), it really tones down my fine lines, wrinkles and skin spots.

Beekman asked me to review my purchase. But since they haven't published it on the website, I am posting it here.

Before placing my order, I contacted Beekman specifically to confirm that this soap was neutral to slightly acidic, as that is what’s healthiest for the skin. I was explicitly assured that it was.

For context, healthy skin has a slightly acidic pH—ideally in the 4.5–5.5 range—and cleansers should fall within that range as well.

After testing the soap myself, I found it to be clearly basic/alkaline, measuring a whopping 8.5 pH.

As a result, I’m now left with four bars I won’t use and won’t give away. They smell pleasant and feel nice initially, but a product at this pH is not good for the skin.

I expected better from this company—if not in formulation, then at the very least in honesty and transparency. It is not "kind" to misrepresent your products in response to a customer's informed, direct question.

I discovered the brand thanks to Schitt's Creek and I am obsessed with their products! I can't believe I didn't know it before. I recently got my first order and I loved everything in it. My wallet will hate me as I will need to place another order soon :)
